FanDuel Fantasy Football Advice for Week 7

Fellow RotoBallers and weekly league fantasy football fans, I am here every week to help you identify some players to consider inserting into your FanDuel lineups. By identifying which players have good Week 7 matchups in relation to their prices on FanDuel this week, we can hopefully find some DFS sleepers who can help you win.

And for even more in-depth weekly FanDuel analysis and advice, you should check out our weekly DFS newsletter, which has been sizzling hot recently in picking weekly studs. You can see how some of those exclusive DFS picks performed last week, and get involved at any time. You can also check out our live DFS chat room for real-time advice and FanDuel banter. Good luck in Week 7, RotoBallers!

Quarterback Value Picks for Week 7

QB: Carson Palmer ($7,300): After missing a few weeks with a nerve injury, Palmer made a successful return last Sunday to throw two touchdown passes. This week, he should be even healthier, and he gets a great matchup with his former team, the Raiders. They have allowed six touchdown passes and 557 yards over the past two weeks, to the Chargers and Dolphins. Expect another 250 yards and at least two touchdowns from Palmer this week.

QB: Brian Hoyer ($6,400): Hoyer will get a lot of looks this weekend because of his matchup with the Jags, but that shouldn’t be the only reason. He has at least one touchdown and 200 passing yards in every game this season. For a fairly low price, he is a near lock to give you at least 12 fantasy points against a Jags team that has allowed over 250 yards passing in three of their last four games.

Running Back Value Picks for Week 7

RB: Justin Forsett ($6,200): Baltimore appears finally to have settled on a Ray Rice replacement with Forsett. He had 14 carries last week, and he put up a solid 111 yards rushing. It was disappointing that he didn'tt have any receptions, but he did grab seven balls two weeks ago. Forsett has double-digit fantasy points in each of the last three weeks, and this week he gets a Falcons defense that has been destroyed on the ground. Last week, Matt Forte had a giant game, and with Flacco blowing up last week, the defense could forget about the run, which is great news for Forsett owners.

RB: Jerick McKinnon ($5,900): Like Forsett, McKinnon appears to have replaced a suspended star in Minnesota. The Vikings offense struggled last week, but McKinnon led the team with 11 carries for 40 yards and also caught all six of his targets for 42 yards. The one drawback to McKinnon’s game is that he may be replaced by Asiata at the goal line, but the shifty rookie should see the bulk of the carries other than that. Last week was an awful matchup against the top defense in the NFL; Buffalo is solid defensively, but they should allow McKinnon the ability to bust a big play and pretty easily pay off on his price.

Wide Receiver Value Picks for Week 7

WR: Rueben Randle ($6,500): The injury to Victor Cruz has opened the door for Randle to be the Giants top receiving option. He has been incredibly consistent this year, with at least four receptions in five straight games. Randle only has two touchdowns on the year, but Eli Manning seems to have figured things out (forget last week!), which should bump Randle’s value immensely. The Cowboys have certainly been better than expected on defense, but they still aren't a top-five unit.

WR: Jarius Wright ($4,800): All aboard the cheap Vikings this week! Like McKinnon, Wright has turned into one of Minnesota’s top playmakers in Adrian Peterson's absence. He has also benefitted from Bridgewater's insertion at quarterback, as 12 of his 18 receptions on the year have come in Teddy's two starts this season. Wright is certainly more useful in PPR formats, as he catches a lot of short passes and tries to make plays from there, but he was able to put up 132 yards against Atlanta. After a three-point outing, Norv Turner should have his offense ready to put up big points on Sunday.

WR: Davante Adams ($5,200): There are a lot of things to not like about Adams: he is a #3 receiver on a team with two studs, is yet to have a 100 yard game and he faces what was expected to be a good defense in Carolina. With that said, though, he's a solid contrarian play this week. Last week, Adams had his best game as a pro, with six receptions for 77 yards against Miami. We all know the Packers love to throw the ball, and Rodgers can make even his number three target a viable fantasy option. It also helps that Carolina has allowed at least 255 yards and a score in each of its last five games.

Tight End Value Pick for Week 7

TE: Josh Hill ($5,000): All indications are that Jimmy Graham will miss this game; if that happens, Hill should be a good play. Over the last two weeks, Hill has a respectable four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown. The Saints have certainly not been the offense we remember, but Drew Brees is still an elite quarterback who loves his tight ends. Along with that, the Lions have a stellar defense, meaning Brees will not be able to go down the field, which in turn indicates that Hill could be in for a lot of use. For a near-minimum price, he is worth the gamble.

Defense Value Pick for Week 7

DEF: Cleveland ($5,200): Like Hoyer, it’s basically plug-and-play with the team facing the Jags offense each week. Blake Bortles has made them a bit more respectable, but he is still a rookie on a team with a banged-up receiving corps that's missing its starting running back. On the season, the Browns are scoring 6.4 fantasy points per game, but they've faced much better offenses than the one they match up against this Sunday.
