Zach's DraftKings PGA DFS lineup picks for the Truist Championship (2026). His PGA DFS targets and value plays for daily fantasy golf lineups.
Welcome, everyone, to my DraftKings PGA DFS lineup picks and advice for the 2026 Truist Championship. I'll be providing DFS picks and analysis to help you set those winning DraftKings lineups.
The PGA TOUR has a second straight Signature Event on the schedule this week, with this week's Truist Championship in Charlotte following last week's Cadillac Championship in Miami. The Truist Championship returns to its typical home at Quail Hollow Club after spending last year in Philadelphia, while Quail Hollow hosted the 2025 PGA Championship. Just like last week, it's a no-cut event featuring 72 of the top players on the PGA TOUR, although the cast of characters has changed a little bit with several big-name stars returning this week after sitting out the Cadillac, and a few notable names sitting out this week to prepare for next week's major championship. The Green Mile is a famously tough finishing stretch on the amazing Quail Hollow Club, which is considered by many to be one of the best courses in the country.
The RotoBaller team has you covered with details on the course, the field, the history of the event, and much more throughout the week, so be sure to check out all the coverage available at the PGA hub on RotoBaller. In this post, I'll break down six of my top DFS fantasy golf plays coming into the week.

Big Dogs: Top-Tier PGA DFS Lineup Picks
Rory McIlroy ($11.7K)
Like Scheffler was last week, Rory is the strong favorite this week at Quail Hollow. He's not quite as far above the rest of the field, which is why his salary is a little closer to everyone else's, but the likelihood that he'll compete and possibly win this week makes him too good not to consider if you can make the rest of your salary cap space work. In no-cut events, it makes sense to swing for the fences with a couple of cheap plays since their floor is higher, which gives you the salary to spend on multiple big names like Rory.
McIlroy will be returning to competition for the first time since winning the Masters just under a month ago. He also had strong finishes at the Signature events at Pebble Beach (T14) and The Riviera Country Club (T2) earlier this season. Rory has played five PGA TOUR events over the last three months, and leads the field in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee, Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green, and in Total Strokes Gained per round over that span while ranking second in Driving Distance.
Rory has a great skill set for Quail Hollow's demands, as evidenced by his four career wins at this track. He won in 2010 in his course debut and claimed wins in 2015, 2021, and 2024, while also adding seven other top-10 finishes at this tournament, five at this course.
McIlroy didn't contend at the PGA Championship at this venue last year, but his overall game is such a great fit for any course that he's a strong consideration whenever he's in the field.

Xander Schauffele ($10K)
Schauffele hasn't won since last fall in Japan, but he has turned in four straight top-12 finishes with a solo third at THE PLAYERS Championship and a top-10 at the Masters along the way. In his most recent event, he turned in four rounds under 70 and finished T12 at the RBC Heritage.
Like his recent history, Schauffele's course history is packed with high finishes and no wins. He finished runner-up in 2024 and 2023 at Quail Hollow, and T14 in 2021.
Schauffele ranks in the top five in the field in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green, Strokes Gained: Approach, Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee, and Total Strokes Gained over the last three months. He has the pedigree and course history to contend this week after a couple of weeks off, and he is looking to round into form before chasing his second career PGA Championship and third career major.
Schauffele has both a high floor and a high ceiling, and with so many other big names in the field, he could go a little overlooked for fantasy lineups.

It’s always fun to hit an outright, especially when it’s over 100/1 and with a player that has a story like Gary Woodland!

Underdogs: Mid-Range PGA DFS Lineup Picks
Adam Scott ($8.9K)
Things didn't start well last week for Adam Scott, but the veteran Aussie roared back with a big finish and turned in his second top-5 finish on the PGA TOUR this season.
In Round 1, Scott took a penalty for playing the wrong ball and ended up at four-over. He flipped the script, though, and found all the right shots on the weekend with a 66-64 finish that catapulted him to T4. He had 14 birdies and no bogeys in his last two rounds, and he led the field in Strokes Gained: Approach.
Scott also had a fourth-place finish earlier this season at The Genesis Invitational in a Signature Event on a long course, similar to this one in many ways. Scott has top-25 finishes in six of his last seven tournaments, dating back to that fourth-place finish, and has been very steady and productive.
In 2023, he finished T5 at Quail Hollow, which was his third career top-10 finish at the track. He brings a ton of course knowledge to almost every layout he plays at this point in his career, but he has shown he can still post high finishes, and if it wasn't for his first-round mistakes in Doral, he would have had a real shot at getting the win.

Over the last three months, he has led this very strong field in Strokes Gained: Approach and is also in the top 10 in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green and Total Strokes Gained. He is set up well for another strong finish at Quail Hollow if he stays in such strong form.
Kurt Kitayama ($7.8K)
Kitayama is coming in off back-to-back top-10 finishes at the last two Signature Events and has the kind of tee-to-green consistency that Quail Hollow demands.
The 33-year-old finished T2 at The Genesis Invitational, T18 at the Arnold Palmer, T8 at the RBC Heritage, and T9 last week at the Cadillac. He started the week with a dismal 76, but like Scott, he bounced back with a strong finish and climbed into the top 10. He finished third in Driving Distance, fifth in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee, and 10th in Strokes Gained: Approach.
Over the last three months, Kitayama has been in the top 10 in the field in Strokes Gained: Approach and Driving Distance, both key metrics to consider at Quail Hollow. While he missed the cut at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow last year, he did finish T34 in 2024 at this track.
With so much Signature Event success, Kitayama is a solid play under $8K, who brings a high ceiling and a high floor since his ball-striking has been so consistent this season.
Junkyard Dogs: Top PGA DFS Value Picks
Alex Noren ($7.4K)
Noren posted his first top-10 on the PGA TOUR this season with a T7 last week at the Cadillac, and he has had some strong past results at Quail Hollow. The veteran from Sweden seems to be at his best when par is a good score, and Quail Hollow seems to play to his strengths.
In 2024, he finished T24 at this venue, and last year, he finished T17 at the PGA Championship after starting the day in second place behind only eventual champion Scottie Scheffler. At that time, Noren was just recovering from a torn hamstring tendon, and he ran out of gas on the final day despite some exceptional play early in the week.

— PGA Championship (@PGAChampionship) May 16, 2025
Noren claimed two wins on the DP World Tour last fall after recovering more fully, winning the Betfred British Masters and the BMW PGA Championship. He posted top-25 finishes at The Genesis Invitational and the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Signature Events earlier this season and has made the cut in eight straight events.
Last week, he posted three rounds under 70 after a slow start to the week and finished third in the field in GIR%, 11th in Strokes Gained: Approach, and 12th in Strokes Gained: Putting. His accuracy off the tee and strong short game should set him up well for another good finish this week.
Noren isn't one of the young rising stars looking to make a splash, but he's a solid veteran who brings both a high floor and a high ceiling to your DFS fantasy golf lineups.
Alex Fitzpatrick ($6.8K)
I had Fitzpatrick in my value plays last week for the Cadillac Championship, and the 27-year-old younger brother of Matt Fitzpatrick delivered an excellent tournament, finishing T9 with two very strong rounds of 66 (Round 2) and 67 (Round 4). He led the field in Driving Accuracy and Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee, and he had the potential for an even higher finish if not for some shaky putting.

— PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) May 3, 2026
Both Fitzpatricks will be in the field this week, after they teamed up to win the Zurich Classic two weeks ago and secured Alex's full-time spot on the PGA TOUR. Leading up to that big win, Alex Fitzpatrick posted six top-25 finishes, including a T6 at the Joburg Open in early March, before getting his breakthrough win at the Hero Indian Open at the end of the month.
Fitzpatrick's strong tee-to-green game should set him up well for Quail Hollow, but he will be making his course debut this week, so there is some added risk in rolling with him in your lineup.
He brings great upside, though, and has been on enough of a heater to still consider him a strong value play under $7K this week.
