Chris Marshall Separating as Arkansas' Top Receiver
Arkansas wide receiver Chris Marshall has started to separate as the Razorbacks' top receiver during fall camp, according to Daniel Fair of HawgBeat. Marshall has stacked strong practices with a big first scrimmage, where he caught a 96-yard pass from AJ Hill and a 34-yard touchdown from KJ Jackson. Ryan Silverfield called his day tremendous and said Marshall continues to show what he can do. The Boise State transfer caught 30 passes for 574 yards and two touchdowns in 11 games last season, an average of 19.1 yards per catch. Arkansas still has not publicly settled the quarterback battle between Jackson and Hill, but Marshall has made plays with both. That emerging No. 1 role is the part that matters for CFF drafts, not just the camp highlights.
