Brenton Strange 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Mid-Round TE Intriguing After Strong Second Half
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange turned a 12-game season into 46 catches on 60 targets for 540 yards and three touchdowns. He routinely ran snap counts of 75% or higher, but his early, pre-injury volume yielded zero touchdowns in those first five games. In fact, he didn't even see a single red-zone target! However, he had 11 RZ looks from Week 12 on, which led the team and made him the half-PPR TE8. That late trend and the overall upward trajectory for Jacksonville's offense make him a reasonable breakout target for those who want to wait at the position. But the strong WR corps cannot be ignored, and it contributed to his lower 64.2% route participation rate (compared to most of the TEs drafted earlier). Even though the 1.89 yards per route run is strong, volume often rules the day. His half-PPR ADP of 140 (TE18) and RotoBaller rank of 149 balance that ceiling proposition with the fact that you're speculating on an unproven half-season on an offense with four playmakers at wide receiver.
