Aidan Chiles Will Enter Transfer Portal
Michigan State quarterback Aidan Chiles plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it officially opens on January 2, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. The 20-year-old has one season of eligibility remaining, and he'll exercise it at his third school in four years. Chiles began his career at Oregon State before following head coach Jonathan Smith to Michigan State. Overall, the California native has appeared in 30 career games, completing 61.3% of his passes for 4,116 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. He's totaled 531 yards and 12 more scores as a runner. Chiles may not be the hottest quarterback name on the market this offseason, but he's shown flashes of upside, and his experience could make him attractive to QB-needy programs that need immediate production.
