Drake Maye - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL DFS Prop Picks, Injury News

NFL Power Rankings before the 2026 NFL Draft. Where does each team stand before the 2026 NFL Draft. Read the updated power rankings featuring the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, and more.

With the 2026 NFL Draft just days away, it's time to update our power rankings.

While many teams have begun to improve their rosters during free agency, several clubs have glaring needs they will need to address this spring.

Let's dive in!

No. 32 - Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins have had a very busy offseason. After parting ways with former first-round pick Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins opted to sign Malik Willis to serve as the QB1. While Willis does not have much experience as a starter, he showed flashes of upside while operating in a relief role for Jordan Love last season.

However, he will not have much talent around him as the Dolphins traded top pass-catcher Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos for a surplus of draft picks. This team could be headed for a rough showing in 2026. Expect them to target a top wideout in the first round to give Willis a legit WR1.

No. 31 - New York Jets

The Jets opted to bring back running back Breece Hall on the non-exclusive franchise tag in free agency and "re-acquired" former quarterback Geno Smith, who spent the early years of his career in New York. Smith is slated to take on QB1 duties in New York in 2026, with the possibility of being the "veteran leader" to a fellow rookie.

On defense, they signed Demario Davis (another former Jet) and acquired safety Minak Fitzpatrick. This team will look to find the foundation of their rebuild in the upcoming draft. They have been linked to Ohio State's Arvell Reese with the No. 2 overall pick.

No. 30 - Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft but had a very productive free agency and could quickly turn the corner in 2026. They signed top center Tyler Linderbaum, who will serve as the foundation for the offensive line. They also added wideout Jalen Nailor, who has shown flashes of upside at times in a crowded Minnesota WR room.

Their major acquisition will come in a few days, when they select the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Fernando Mendoza, from Indiana. Mendoza will join an offense that has several players, including Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty, who could make his transition to the NFL quite easy.

No. 29 - Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals opted to part ways with Kyler Murray at the start of free agency, which sets up veteran Jacoby Brissett to begin the 2026 season as the No. 1 option. While the team struggled during his time as the QB1, he was productive under center, averaging 276.6 passing yards per game (from Weeks 9 through 18).

They also bolstered their running back room by adding former Atlanta Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier to serve as a complement to Trey Benson and veteran James Conner. They did not add much to their defense, which allowed the fourth-most points per game last season. This will likely remain a major weakness in 2026. The Cardinals have been linked to Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love, which would give them another high-end option in their backfield.

No. 28 - Cleveland Browns

The Browns spent the majority of their free agent budget on improving their offensive line. They signed guard Zion Johnson to a three-year $49.5 million contract, who is one of the game's premier run blockers. They also added center Elgton Jenkins to a two-year contract, who placed seventh among all centers in Pass-Blocking Grade according to PFF last season.

While their defense remains elite, their offensive firepower remains underwhelming. While breakout rookies Quinshon Judkins and Harold Fannin Jr. showed flashes at times, the Browns figure to struggle again in 2026 without a proven option under center.

No. 27 - Tennessee Titans

Offense was a problem in Tennessee last season, and they began to improve that side of the ball by signing former NY Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson to a four-year, $70 million contract. He is slated to play alongside Calvin Ridley in the passing offense in 2026 and should provide a reliable slot option for Cam Ward.

They also made several additions to their defense that allowed the fifth-most points per game in 2025. The Titans would add two defensive backs, Alontae Taylor, Cor'Dale Flott, and defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers. They hold a top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and are considered favorites to land top running back prospect Jeremiyah Love, which would round out this offense.

No. 26 - Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta's headliner move in the offseason (outside of bringing in a new head coach) was adding former first-round pick Tua Tagovailoa to the QB room. While it is yet to be seen if he will win the starting job over Michael Penix Jr., it does make his seat quite warm with a new coaching staff taking over.

They also lost running back Tyler Allgeier, which will only increase Bijan Robinson's workload in 2026. In the passing game, the Falcons added a solid depth wide receiver in Jahan Dotson to a two-year contract to serve as a complement to Drake London.

No. 25 - New York Giants

With former Super Bowl-winning head coach John Harbaugh leading the charge, the Giants were a productive team in free agency and a potential sleeper heading into 2026. Even though they lost Wan'Dale Robinson, they added another playmaker to the passing attack room in tight end Isaiah Likely.

On defense, they brought in linebacker Tremaine Edmunds on a three-year, $36 million contract. Edmunds has eclipsed the 100-tackle mark in each of his eight NFL seasons and will serve as a key starter for Big Blue. However, the success of this team will depend on the long-term health of Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo, both of whom are recovering from major injuries. The Giants made a splash earlier this week but sending Dexter Lawrene to the Bengals for another first-round pick, giving them two within the top-10.

No. 24 - Washington Commanders

The Commanders had a disappointing 2025 season, especially after reaching the Conference Championship round the previous season. They were not overly busy in free agency outside of signing defensive lineman Odafe Oweh to a massive four-year, $100 million contract. Oweh is coming off an 8.5-sack campaign with the Chargers.

On offense, the Commanders are still looking to add a true No. 2 target opposite Terry McLaurin, but they did strengthen their running back room by adding Rashaad White and their TE room by signing former Titan Chig Okonkwo, who may take over starting duties next season.

No. 23 - New Orleans Saints

The Saints began to show some solid growth in the second half of the 205 seasons with Tyler Shough leading the offense. They did not waste time in free agency as they brought in star running back Travis Etienne Jr. on a massive $52 million contract. Etienne is coming off the best season of his career in Jacksonville and will provide a major spark to this run game, which averaged a mere 94.3 rushing yards per game in 2025.

Over his last six games of the season, Shough looked like a potential long-term starter, posting a 10:3 TD:INT with 259.2 passing yards and 25.5 rushing yards per game. This is a team to watch in the Wild Card race.

No. 22 - Indianapolis Colts

The Colts were busy in free agency, especially at the wide receiver position. They were able to re-sign top free agent Alec Pierce on a four-year, $116 million contract. Pierce led the team in receiving yards last season and is slated to be the long-term WR1 in Indianapolis. However, the departure of Michael Pittman Jr. will open the No. 2 WR role for Josh Downs.

The other major move they made on offense was to bring back QB Daniel Jones on a two-year, $88 million contract. Before his injury, Jones was looking like a dark-horse MVP candidate. If he can return to this form, Jones should bring the Colts back to the postseason in 2026.

No. 21 - Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals fell short of the postseason once again in 2025, but with Joe Burrow entering the offseason fully healthy, they are poised to emerge as serious contenders in 2026. In free agency, they did not spend much but focused a majority of their signings on the defensive side of the ball.

Last season, their defense remained a major weakness, allowing the third-most points per game (28.6). The Bengals would add edge rusher Boye Mafe on a three-year, $60 million deal and link up safety Bryan Cook on a three-year, $42 million contract. Cook is coming off back-to-back 78+ tackle seasons with the Chiefs and should emerge as a leader in the secondary. The Bengals also bolstered their line ahead of the draft by acquiring Dexter Lawrence from the Giants in exchange for their first-round pick.

No. 20 - Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings needed to improve their QB room and wasted little time in doing so. They signed former first overall pick Kyler Murray to a one-year contract on a veteran minimum deal. Murray is likely to compete alongside J.J. McCarthy for the starting job during camp. Even though McCarthy struggled in 2025, he will likely be given the slight edge in any competition as the team's long-term option.

While they did not make many other major signings, they opted to retain several key players, including running back Aaron Jones Jr., linebacker Eric Wilson Jr., and defensive back Tavierre Thomas.

No. 19 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers opted not to re-sign running back Rachaad White but instead retained No. 3 running back Sean Tucker and added Kenneth Gainwell from Pittsburgh. Gainwell turned in a career season with the Steelers, finishing with 73 receptions on 85 targets. He should take on a massive role in the receiving game while Bucky Irving remains the lead RB1. Their passing game will look quite different as they lost future Hall of Famer Mike Evans in free agency, but they have ample depth at this position with the emerging Emeka Egbuka and Jalen McMillan.

On defense, Tampa Bay signed linebacker Alex Anzalone to a two-year contract. Anzalone has served as a leader on the Detroit defense and will help bolster a Tampa Bay defense that finished below the average marks last season. With a healthy Baker Mayfield, the Buccaneers should be in contention to reclaim the NFC South crown in 2026.

No. 18 - Carolina Panthers

The Panthers claimed the NFC South title last season and continued to bolster their defense's hopes of taking the next step in 2026. In free agency, the Panthers signed top linebacker Jaelan Phillips to a massive four-year, $120 milon contract. Phillips has tallied at least 6.5 sacks in three of his six NFL seasons.

They also added another linebacker, Devin Lloyd, on a three-year, $45 milion contract. On offense, they were unable to retain running back Rico Dowdle, which opens an opportunity for Chuba Hubbard to reclaim the starting job.

No. 17 - Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys had two of their top playmakers eligible for free agency but opted to retain both. They signed George Pickens to a franchise tag and placed a second-round tender on superstar kicker Brandon Aubrey. Pickens turned in a career season in his debut campaign in Dallas, catching 93 passes for 1,429 yards with nine touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the game, their major signing was safety Jalen Thompson on a three-year contract. Thompson has logged 95+ tackles in back-to-back seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and will hope to boost a Dallas defense that allowed the most PPG last season (30.1). If the Dallas defense can turn the corner, this team should compete for a Wild Card. Ahead of the Draft, the Cowboys also inked star kicker Brandon Aubrey to an extension.

No. 16 - Pittsburgh Steelers

While it remains to be seen whether Aaron Rodgers will return for another season to play alongside former HC Mike McCarthy, the Steelers made several moves to keep this window open. On offense, they added another wide receiver in Michael Pittman Jr. (via trade) and brought in running back Rico Dowdle, who has totaled 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons.

On defense, their lone mone major signing was defensive back Jamel Dean to a three-year deal. Dean is coming off a career-best three-interception season and has logged at least 55 tackles in two of his last three campaigns. If Rodgers returns, the Steelers could compete for a playoff spot once again.

No. 15 - Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens were involved in the most controversial move of the offseason. They agreed to a trade with the Raiders' superstar defensive end, Maxx Crosby, but backed out after the deal following a failed physical. However, just hours after, the Ravens would add Bengals star defensive end, Trey Hendrickson.

Hendrickson is one of the best edge rushers in the sport as he tallied at least 17.0 sacks in 2023 and 2024. Their lone addition, no offense, was offensive guard John Simpson, who will bolster the offensive line, especially after losing center Tyler Linderbaum.

No. 14 - Green Bay Packers

The Packers had a quiet free agency but remain a top contender in the NFC. Their major signings came on the defensive side of the game, as they added defensive tackle Javon Hargrave to a two-year, $23 million deal and defensive back Benjamin St-Juste to a two-year, $10 million contract.

Hargrave is coming off a 3.5-sack season with the Vikings, but logged more than 7.0 sacks in both 2022 and 2023. They were also involved in a trade that acquired them linebacker Zaire Franklin, who has logged four straight 120+ tackle seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and should immediately take on a large role in Green Bay.

No. 13 - Detroit Lions

The Lions will be without power back David Montgomery in 2026 (as he joined the Texans), but they remain poised to re-emerge as a top contender in the NFC, despite missing the playoffs in 2025. Jahmyr Gibbs is coming off another dominant season as he totaled 1,223 yards on the ground with 13 scores and an additional 616 yards and five scores through the air, and is more than capable of taking on a full-time RB1 role.

Their most expensive contract went to center Cade Mays. Mays earned the 14th-highest Pass-Blocking Grade among centers last season. However, their defense could still be weak, as they allowed 24.4 PPG last season and made few major improvements in the offseason.

No. 12 - Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles made a handful of quiet moves during free agency, but they could be very impactful in 2026. On offense, the Eagles added a deep-threat wide receiver, Hollywood Brown. Brown scored five touchdowns in 2025 and should slide in as the team's No. 3 WR following the departure of Jahan Dotson.

The Eagles also added reigning Super Bowl Champion defensive back Riq Woolen. Woolen is coming from a down season but has tallied at least three interceptions in two of his four NFL seasons, including an impressive six interceptions in his debut campaign. The major question is the status of A.J. Brown, who remains the top name on all trade blocks.

No. 11 - San Francisco 49ers

With Brandon Aiyuk's tenure on the team slowly coming to an end and the departure of Jauan Jennings, the 49ers took a big swing in free agency to bring in Mike Evans as the top playmaker in the passing game, alongside young wideout Ricky Pearsall. Even though Evans missed time last season with a severe injury, he is still quite dominant.

This team will be tested early in 2026, as they could be without superstar tight end George Kittle for most of the first half, as he suffered a torn Achilles tendon during the postseason. However, the 49ers did make a big splash this week by extending All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams.

No. 10 - Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles offense struggled for most of the 2025 season due to numerous injuries. However, with both Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater both fully healthy, this unit should see some significant positive regression. They took a step further, adding center Tyler Biadasz to the unit on a $30 million contract, which will only protect Justin Herbert further.

They also resigned defensive lineman Teair Tart to a three-year deal, who has played a key role on the defensive line, logging 17 games played in each of their two seasons. They also added running back Keaton Mitchell, who could emerge as a strong No. 2 option to second-year back Omarion Hampton.

No. 9 - Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars saw no. 1 running back Travis Etienne Jr. walk in free agency, which could hinder their rushing upside in 2026. However, with second-year back Bhayhusl Tuten on the roster and newly acquired Chris Rodriguez Jr. (from Washington), they could still form an effective rushing attack.

Their one major move on defense was to resign defensive back Montaric Brown. Brown has logged at least 50 tackles in back-to-back seasons and should continue serving as a lead position in the secondary.

No. 8 - Chicago Bears

The Bears spent most of the last offseason bolstering their offensive line, which played a major role in Caleb Williams' dominant, resurgent season. This offseason, the Bears spent much of their attention on the defensive side of the ball as they look to enter the top-tier of contenders in 2026.

In free agency, the Bears signed safety Coby Bryant to a three-year, $40 million contract and linebacker Devin Bush to a three-year, $30 million deal. Bryant is coming off a four-interception season (highest of his career) where he logged 66 tackles. Bush is also coming off one of the best seasons of his career, where he logged 125 tackles for the Browns with two sacks and three interceptions.

No. 7 - Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs did not qualify for the postseason in 2025 but wasted little time to make an impact this offseason to quickly turn the corner in 2026. They made one of the biggest moves last month by adding reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker to the backfield. The rushing attack was a major weakness for Kansas City in 2025, and adding Walker will provide a massive spark to this club.

On defense, they added safety Alohi Gilman to a $24.75 million contract. While the Chiefs could face an uphill battle early in the season while Patrick Mahomes recovers from a torn ACL, this team should quickly return to its contender status once he is cleared for contact.

No. 6 - Buffalo Bills

The Bills fell short in the postseason once again in 2025, but began taking the necessary steps that could push them over the edge in 2026. On offense, they acquired Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore in an impressive trade to serve as another elite option for Josh Allen. They also resigned center Connor McGovern to a four-year deal to keep some stability on the offensive line.

On defense, Buffalo also added Dee Alford to a three-year deal worth up to $21 million and defensive rusher Bradley Chubb to a massive three-year, $43.5 million contract. Chubb has hit the 8.5-sack mark in back-to-back seasons and will bring a much-needed spark to this defensive line.

No. 5 - Houston Texans

While rookie Woody Marks did show some upside during the season, the Texans needed a stable option in the backfield and acquired David Montgomery from the Lions via trade. While Montgomery is coming to the end of his career, he continues to be a force in the red zone and should take some pressure off C.J. Stroud.

Their major signings came on defense to strengthen an elite secondary by adding safety Reed Blankenship on a three-year, $24.75 million contract. Blankenship is one of the top tackles at the position and will bring even more force to this unit that allowed just 17.4 PPG last season. They remain the favorite in a competitive AFC South.

No. 4 - Los Angeles Rams

The Raiders focused much of their offseason effort on improving their secondary. They swing a trade with the Chiefs to acquire defensive back Trent McDuffie. McDuffie is one of the game's top coverage backs and signed a four-year, $124 millon contract after joining the Rams. In free agency, they also added Jaylen Watson on a three-year, $51 million deal.

They did not make any major moves on the offensive side of the ball, but did not need to give the strength of that unit. In 2025, led by MVP Matthew Stafford, the Rams scored 30.5 PPG and averaged the most total yards per game.

No. 3 - Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos nearly punched their ticket to the Super Bowl with hurt Bo Nix under center in the AFC Title Game. While they did not make many major signings in free agency outside of a few resignings, they did make a significant impact on the trade market. They acquired Miami Dolphins top WR Jaylen Waddle for a blockbuster to add another weapon for Bo Nix.

In terms of signings, they brought back veteran running back J.K. Dobbins on a two-year, $16 million contract to serve as the 1A to RJ Harvey. Before suffering his season-ending injury, Dobbins was averaging an elite 5.0 YPC and totaled 72 yards with four scores over the first 10 games of the season. This team is built to win in 2026.

No. 2 - New England Patriots

The reigning AFC Champions will hold the next spot on our list. The Patriots needed some WR depth and made a play in free agency by signing former Packers wideout Romeo Doubs. Doubs is coming from a strong 724-yard, six-touchdown effort and should immediately serve as the No. 1 pass catcher of Drake Maye.

They also bolstered their offensive line with Alijah Vera-Tucker (three years, $42 million) and their defense with edge rusher Dre'Mont Jones (three years, $39.5 million). Jones tallied 4.5 sacks with the Titans last season and averaged 33.0 tackles per season since the 2021 campaign.

No. 1 - Seattle Seahawks

Even though the Seahawks lost Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker in free agency, they will still hold the No.1 spot on our list. Given that they secured wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (to make him the highest-paid WR) and brought back wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, defensive back Josh Jobe, and linebacker Drake Thomas, they could not afford to bring back Walker.

However, the Seahawks did add Emmanuel Wilson to the backfield, who could operate as the RB1 early in the season while Zach Charbonnet recovers. Wilson flashed upside while serving as a spot-starter for Josh Jacobs and could emerge as an early-season breakout in this offense.
