Fantasy Baseball Trade Targets - Buy/Sell for Week 11 (2025)

Corey Seager - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Fantasy baseball trade candidates to buy/sell for Week 11 (2025). Joey's fantasy baseball undervalued players to target in trades, and overvalued to trade away.

Welcome, RotoBallers, to our weekly buy/sell article highlighting the best players to trade for and trade away. Each Friday morning, we go through several players fantasy managers should be buying and selling. The buy-low options are players whose fantasy value is down, and the sell-high options are players exceeding expectations.

In this week's edition, there are some big-name players you should be trading for. These three players haven't been the best fantasy options in recent weeks, but better days are surely ahead for these superstars.

So, which players should we buy and sell for Week 11 of the fantasy baseball season? Let's dive in and find out.

Undervalued Fantasy Baseball Players to Trade For

Corey Seager, SS, Texas Rangers

It has been a rough couple of months for Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager. He landed on the 10-day injured list on April 23 due to a hamstring strain before returning 11 days later on May 3. Unfortunately, Seager reaggravated that hamstring strain just a few weeks later and landed on the 10-day IL on May 13.

In addition to dealing with that hamstring strain, Seager hasn't done much at the plate in recent weeks. He is batting just .180 with two home runs, two doubles, six RBI, and 17 strikeouts over his last 15 games dating back to April 19. However, this is a prime opportunity to trade for the five-time All-Star in fantasy.

Seager was just activated from the 10-day IL last week, and fantasy managers should expect better all-around numbers from him moving forward. His expected batting average (.294), expected slugging (.556), average exit velocity (93.7 mph), and barrel rate (14.7%) all rank elite in the early going. The veteran ranks in the 87th percentile or better in all four categories.

So, now might be the best time to buy him. He has had multiple stints on the IL and is batting just .252 with six home runs and 12 RBI this season. That makes him a great target heading into Week 11. He has hit at least 30 home runs and driven in over 70 runs in three straight years.

Matt Olson, 1B, Atlanta Braves

It's not a total surprise to see Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson struggle a bit to start the season. He didn't get off to the best start last year and was batting just .235 with eight home runs and 30 RBI in his first 55 games. That's similar to his start in 2025, as the slugger is batting .237 with 12 home runs and 32 RBI across 60 games.

That semi-slow start makes him a great buy-low target right now. His metrics suggest that he has gotten a little bit unlucky at the plate this season, and he should be a stronger fantasy option moving forward. Olson ranks in the 90th percentile or better in several categories, including xwOBA (.384), average exit velocity (94 mph), barrel rate (17.7%), and hard-hit rate (56.1%).

Given that Olson continues to hit the ball hard, things should eventually even out. The Braves' first baseman also started to pick things up offensively during the summer months last year. He slashed .253/.338/.472 with 21 home runs and 68 RBI in the final four months from June 1 to September 30.

As a result, see what it would take to acquire the two-time All-Star in your league. Olson should be a better fantasy option in the coming months, and his bat should heat up very soon. The 31-year-old has hit over 30 home runs and driven in at least 95 runs in four of the past five full seasons.

Yordan Alvarez, OF/DH, Houston Astros

Houston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez wasn't supposed to miss much time after suffering a muscle strain in his right hand in early May. The slugger was initially scratched from Houston's lineup on May 3 and landed on the 10-day IL a few days later on May 5. However, reports have come out that Alvarez is now dealing with a right-hand fracture.

Therefore, there isn't a specific timeline on when we could expect the three-time All-Star to return. The good news is that a recent MRI done last week showed that Alvarez's fracture is 60% healed. That means there is a strong chance he will be back in that Astros lineup within the next few weeks.

It has been difficult to roster Alvarez this season. He has already missed a month due to that hand fracture and hasn't been a strong fantasy option even when he's been healthy. The 27-year-old is batting just .210 with three home runs and 18 RBI across 29 games.

Nevertheless, fantasy managers shouldn't expect Alvarez to hit this poorly upon his return. He is just too good a hitter. It's also encouraging that his expected slugging (.495), barrel rate (11.9%), and hard-hit rate (46.4%) all rank solid. So, try to buy the Astros slugger ahead of Week 11.

Overvalued Fantasy Baseball Players to Trade Away

Tyler Mahle, SP, Texas Rangers

Texas Rangers starting pitcher Tyler Mahle was on this list last week, but it's important to mention him again because he is the biggest sell-high candidate. Undoubtedly, Mahle has been one of the most surprising pitchers to start the season. He currently owns a 2.02 ERA and 53 strikeouts across his first 13 starts.

However, some major regression is coming the right-hander's way. His expected ERA (3.74) is 172 points higher than his actual ERA, and his FIP sits at 3.23 this year. With Mahle also striking out batters at a low clip (18.8%), it's only a matter of time until his overall numbers fall.

Fantasy managers are already starting to see that, as Mahle recently allowed four runs across 5 1/3 innings against the Tampa Bay Rays in his last start. So, make sure to trade away the Rangers pitcher before his next outing. His numbers should continue falling in the coming weeks because he is overperforming.

Heliot Ramos, OF, San Francisco Giants

San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos was much deserving of an All-Star appearance last year. He finished with a .269 batting average, 22 home runs, 72 RBI, and six stolen bases across 121 contests. While some fantasy managers avoided Ramos in drafts in the spring, he has built off that All-Star campaign quite nicely into the 2025 season.

The 25-year-old is currently hitting .289 with 11 home runs, 33 RBI, and five stolen bases across 60 games. Ramos has also hit in the lead-off spot in five of the past six games for San Francisco. However, this might be the perfect opportunity to sell the Giants outfielder in most formats.

Although Ramos has a solid 13.1% barrel rate, there are some concerns with him moving forward. His expected batting average (.264) is 28 points lower than his actual batting average, and his squared-up rate (22.4%), chase rate (31.1%), and strikeout rate (23%) all rank extremely poor. Those are potential signs of a streaky hitter.

Now, you shouldn't trade away Ramos for cheap because he has put together a solid campaign. However, packaging him with another player to get a star like Seager or Olson could be a league-winning move. So, see what you can get for the 25-year-old heading into Week 11 of the fantasy baseball season.
