StarLadder CIS RMR 2021

Best of 3

  • K23 (-260) vs. 100PG (+190)
  • Entropiq (+115) vs. Virtus. Pro (-150)
  • Gambit (-155) vs. Natus Vincere (+115)
  • Nemiga Gaming (+160) vs. forze (-200)

Captain Plays

Jame: This game could be a very close one and I like that for a play like Jame. He has played well in both meetings recently against Entropiq, one in which VP swept, and the other as Entropiq swept. Both of these games have been close and Jame has had a K/D differential of +20, and +5 in these meetings. Over the last month of play, he has a 1.28 K/D and is averaging a .72 KPR. As well as a very low DPR at .56. He also has a positive K/D in 13 of his last 15 matches, and I also like his price at 9k, I feel like it's low enough that it won't affect the rest of your build to a point you have to play a super cheap play more than once.

Hobbit: Hobbit has easily been one of the most consistent players for Gambit especially against Navi. This match is always a tough one to analyze as both these teams are the two best in the world and either one of them could win. Gambit has won 3/5 matches between these two teams. The one consistent thing about all 5 games though is Hobbit having a positive K/D differential. Sh1ro has a slightly higher upside but I love how safe Hobbit is.  His K/D differential against Navi has been +5, +9, +7, +9, +9. Hobbit has a 1.23 K/D and is averaging .75 KPR and a pretty low .61 DPR. I also like the discount we get on him compared to sh1ro at 8,800.

Other captain plays in order of preference: S1mple, Sh1ro, zorte, AX1le, El1an

Value Plays

Smiley/w1nt3r: I think 100PG has been on the rise lately and their last two matchups against K23 give me a big interest in these two guys here. Smiley has been one of their top fraggers pretty consistently and he is pretty cheap at 6,600. W1nt3r on the other hand is a little riskier but he is only 4,200! Their last two meetings have gone to 3 maps each and with both teams taking one of the games. Smiley has gone positive with a K/D differential of +18, and +9. W1nt3r went +11 and -6. smiley has a 1.11 K/D and is averaging a .68 KPR and a decently low .62 DPR. w1nt3r over the last month has had a 1.12 K/D and is averaging .72 KPR and .64 DPR. I don't think you can go wrong with either guy but I prefer smiley over w1nt3r slightly as he is a bit more consistent.

KENSI: I'm actually very intrigued by KENSI, He has been playing very well over the last month and has a 1.11 K/D in that time. He also has a positive K/D differential in 15 of his last 20 matches. He hasn't gone positive in the matchups against Nemiga in the past but his recent play has seemed to improve and I think this could be a great value spot for a stack to your CS:GO lineups. He is averaging a .67 KPR and a low .60 DPR. Forze has also won their last two meetings against Nemiga and I think that helps play into his upside especially if they can sweep like their last meeting.

Other value plays in order of preference: almazer, nafany, Nickelback

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Forze: All the games on this slate are very close, Gambit and NAVI always go back and forth, 100PG is on the rise and could upset K23, VP and Entropiq have split meetings as well. Forze has been the only team consistent against their opponent. They have won both meetings, one in a sweep and one in 3 maps. I think they are one of the safest plays for a sweep on this slate. Forze is coming off two tough games against NAVI and Gambit and should welcome the slightly easier matchup here against Nemiga. The maps have been close and I like that as it can increase the number of kills per map.

The best options to start your stack are definitely with Fl1t and zorte. They have been very good in their recent matchups against Nemiga and as well as in their recent games in general. Fl1t is normally the top fragger but I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. I like zorte's price a little bit more and so I lean zorte over Fl1t. Jerry and almazer aren't bad options. Jerry has been playing well recently and killed it in one of their meetings against Nemiga. KENSI is definitely one of my favorite value plays on the slate though at only 5,600.

Other Stacks: Gambit, 100PG(GPP)
