DFS Captain Plays

cadian: If I had to choose between stavn and cadian. I'm going cadian almost 9/10 times. He is extremely consistent and is one of the best plays on Heroic. He is also playing a lot better since the introduction of sjuush and refrezh. He has a 1.28 K/D over the last month and is averaging .78 kills per round and .61 deaths per round. He has positive games in 6 of his last 8 and all those 6 games are +10 or better. He is playing very well and has a great matchup against Renegades who haven't played the level of competition that heroic has and wasn't even beating the level of competition they were up against. This should be a quick sweep for Heroic and Cadian is a great option for a stack starter.

blameF: Blame is playing at an elite level over the last month, I'm talking upwards of s1mple and ZywOo type of plays. He has a 1.55 K/D and is averaging .84 kills per round and .54 deaths per round. Since the return of poizon to the lineup he has played really well and I love how well he can score even in a loss. He has only one negative round in the last 17 rounds. He is playing really well right now and I want all of the BlameF that I can. He is someone I could consider something close to a lock. I love his upside in this matchup and should be a great one to watch as well. He is a great play in Flex and Captain. Just make sure you get some of him in your lineups.

Other captain plays: Stavn, syrson, Xantares, k0nfig

DFS Value Plays

sjuush: This guy is simply too cheap at 5,800 and at that price it's going to make it very easy to build some nice lineups. I would not be surprised to see him over 80% owned as he is playing at an elite level right now and the two games he has played for Heroic so far have resulted in 43 kills and 38 kills and all positive K/Ds. He is playing really well and like I said he's too cheap to be overlooked. In the last month, he has averaged .77 kills per round and .66 deaths per round with a 1.17 K/D. Sjuush was a great addition to Heroic and a cheap asset to a Heroic Stack. The matchup as well is juicy and Heroic has the largest odds on the slate. I expect a sweep here and if he can 40+ kills and the sweep bonus that's going to be a good score for him.

k0nfig: I have to say it, Why the actual hell is k0nfig 7,200. He and BlameF absolutely carry this team. It's actually ridiculous to see him this cheap. In his Last match against OG, k0nfig went +26 on the day with 43 kills and the sweep. Might as well lock him in your lineups because he's going to be chalky and for good reason. K0nfig is a beast and should be heavily considered here. In the last month, he has a 1.18 K/D and is averaging .75 kills per round and only .65 deaths per round. He has a good matchup against FPX as well who hasn't played the level of competition that Complexity has. This one might be close but even in a 3 game match k0nfig has the ability to drop high kills and score well and the price is simply unignorable.

Other Value Plays: Jks, Tizian, suNny(PUNT), k1to

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Heroic: Heroic has looked off in past tournaments but since the addition of sjuush and refrezh over b0rup and Niko they have looked like a brand new team and are ready to dominate. They got off to a hot start and swept Cloud9 and VOYVODA right out of the gate. They get a nice start to the group stages here against Renegades who I believe is the worst in this group here. sjuush has added an extra oomph to this team that was struggling in past tournaments and they could be a dangerous team coming into the later stages of it. Stavn can go off at any time and has massive upside, especially in sweeps as well as cadian who has been carrying this team heavily the last few games. TeSeS is a little overpriced here and I don't love that. Sjuush is too cheap and should be looked at as a top option. refrezh is probably the weakest link here so I won't have any of him but could be a good play for the sweep bonus.

BiG: BiG has our 2nd biggest odds on the slate. This is a good spot for BiG to rebound as they have struggled in the last couple of tournaments losing three of their last 4 but against good teams though. OG on the other hand has lost 4 of their last 5 games with the only win against Nordavind who is ranked #113th in the world. BiG should be able to rebound in this one and I expect Syrson to go big. He is a fantastic start to a BiG stack as he plays at an elite level no matter the team he is against. Even in some losses, he is still going positive. He really needs the rest of his team to show up and help take this team to another level. Xantares is a little pricey but can be a good option if you can afford him. I like tizians upside in a sweep as I expect this one to go to and he's insanely cheap as well. k1to is one player I don't tend to touch as he is usually more expensive than tizian and I would rather go to him than k1to. tabsen is completely inconsistent. In some games, he can go off and in others, he will be bottom of the leaderboard. Play at your own risk.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Complexity, OG(GPP), FPX(Large GPP)

Predictions

Heroic beats Renegades 2-0

Complexity beats FPX 2-1

BiG beats OG 2-0
