Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (3/14/21) - DraftKings Daily Fantasy

Koby's DraftKings. DFS lineup picks for Early Morning Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 3/14/21. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Hello Esports enthusiasts and welcome back to our Esports coverage of CS:GO DFS! The ESL Pro League tournament is upon us and 24 teams are up for a grand prize of 175,000$ to first place. There are 4 groups of 6 teams and each group will round-robin and play each other over the next 5 teams. We move on to the next group of play as these teams include Mousesports, Ence, G2, NiP, Vitality, and FaZe.

Ence pulled off the big upset over Mouz, yet mouz still scored very well as ropz dropped nearly 80 kills. Vitality struggled in their first match and then lit up FaZe in maps 2 and 3 as ZywOo went god mode and was the highest-scoring player on the slate. Last but not least G2 pulled off a very close sweep over NiP as the 2nd map went to double OT. Today we get Mouz against FaZe, G2 takes on Vitality, and Ence is taking on NiP.  We have a lot to go over! So let's get right into it! Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on FanDuel and DraftKings for Sunday, March 14th at 6:00 AM ET.

DFS Captain Plays

ZywOo: You might see ZywOo here every day. He is the 2nd best player in the world behind the one and only s1mple and he proved that in today's comeback win against FaZe. They struggled as a team on the first map and then they started to click it together. ZywOo managed 72 kills with a +26 on the day. He absolutely killed this FaZe team basically by himself and winning a couple of 1v3 and 1v5 in the process. This is the last man you want up against you when it comes to CS:GO. He has a 1.35 K/D and is averaging .81 kills per round and only .6 deaths per round. He is a hefty price but extremely worth it as he is consistently a top scorer on every slate he is apart of.

REZ: I mainly like the matchup here against Ence who I'm not convinced should be a winning team here. I need to see more out of Ence before I make a final decision on that because honestly none of Ence played well against Mouz and just collectively was able to squeak a win out. Against NiP, they are going to need more help and get more kills. REZ has looked fantastic his last two games going +16 and +11 in his last two. Rez is also a nice price here at 8k which can save some money at the captain spot. I also like the discount we get from Plopski who is pretty expensive coming into this one. Rez over the last month has a 1.05 K/D with .7 kills per round and .65 deaths per round. If he can continue his pace he should score well at a discount in the captain price.

Other captain plays: ropz, hunter, Plopski, Frozen, NiKo(Rebound game?)

DFS Value Plays

nawwk: What we have seen in the last month out of Nawwk is not normal for him. He has been off and I think he looked a lot better against G2 today dropping 44 kills and going +8 on the day. I think the risk to go to him is worth it here at 5,200. If nawwk can manage a nice scoreline around even or better with some RNP bonus points. Nawwk should be able to pay off his minimal price. His K/D recently has been poor at .93 but his last performance gives me hope that we can get the old Nawwk back and he can start to go off again. Plus he is much better than ZTR and we are getting nawwk at much cheaper.

acoR: acoR really paid off his price today and I'm going right back to him. They get a good FaZe team this time around and I think Mouz is going to be able to take advantage of that. They are a really good team who just couldn't close against Ence. acoR had 54 kills and only 46 deaths against Ence today. His price didn't change much coming into tomorrow's slate and I want to keep on acoR as long as he is cheap because he has a lot of upside as the main AWPer on the team. He has a 1.05 K/D right now and is averaging .7 kills per round and .66 deaths per round. As long as acoR can keep the salary to keep his AWP he is going to be a top value play as long as he stays this cheap.

Other Value Plays: Amanek, RPK(PUNT), hunter, Bymas

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Vitality: I think I have to go back to vitality for tomorrow. Although they struggled in the first map, that might have been rust they were knocking off. Because they came out blasting in the last two maps and won by 6 rounds and 4 rounds. ZywOo as usual performed very well and led the team to a victory with 72 kills and +26 on the day is absolutely insane. Shox and misutaa stepped up as well in the last two maps and helped bring this game back in their favor. NiKo looked rough for G2 today and that worries me coming into this match cause they really need NiKo in a game like this against Vitality. I think this match is going to be close and it could be just a matter of getting ZywOo and whoever you think is going to be the top play for G2 cause it's a tossup at this point but my lean is hunter right now. misutaa and Shox would be the other two I look at for Vitality and RPK as a pure punt play as he is extremely cheap but he has played poorly recently but the price is nice and allows to get you some nice players up top.

NiP: I'm still not sold on Ence, I think mouz fumbled the bag here, as dexter and bymas really struggled. NiP I think is a lot more consistent and has a better overall team. Plopski, REZ, Nawwk, and even hampus are playing very well. ztr has been low level right now and Nawwk is even cheaper than him and I love the upside we can get out of Nawwk. Even though NiP lost they actually had scored better than most of G2. REZ had 63 kills in two games and is playing at an elite level. I feel like he would be able to capitalize as ropz did today against Ence. Ence could easily upset as they Mouz but like I said I need to see them be consistent and win again before I like them. I think Mouz just choked and Ence capitalized. I don't see that happening here with NiP. Probably one of my favorite teams to stack on this slate.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Mouz, FaZe(GPP)

Predictions

Mouz beats FaZe 2-1

Vitality beats G2 2-1

NiP beats Ence 2-0
