Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (3/13/21) - DraftKings Daily Fantasy

Koby's DraftKings. DFS lineup picks for Early Morning Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 3/13/21. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Hello Esports enthusiasts and welcome back to our Esports coverage of CS:GO DFS! The ESL Pro League tournament is upon us and 24 teams are up for a grand prize of 175,000$ to first place. There are 4 groups of 6 teams and each group will round-robin and play each other over the next 5 teams. After a wild ending to today's games where we saw all three underdogs take down their opponents and ruin many lines in the process. We move on to the next group of play as these teams include Mousesports, Ence, G2, NiP, Vitality, and FaZe.

Something I do want to note though is that there have been a couple of roster moves recently and want to make sure we get those out of the way! Nivera has stepped down and is no longer playing with Vitality as they go back to a 5 man rotation, Thank GOD! G2 has benched KennyS and Jackz has come back to G2 to retake his spot in the roster so don't let DK fool you when it says that Jackz is out he is very much playing. FaZe brought in Twistzz from Team Liquid, as well as Karrigan from Mousesports.  We have a lot to go over! So let's get right into it! Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on FanDuel and DraftKings for Saturday, March 13th at 6:00 AM ET.

DFS Captain Plays

ZywOo: ZywOo is clearly the best play on the slate and you might as well lock him into your lineups. Because he is going to be the highest-owned player on the slate plain and simple especially in cash games. It makes it quite difficult to get to him in the captain spot but if you can he can drop 140+ DKP in the captain spot. He averages 77 DKP and the next guy isn't even close. He is averaging a 1.33 K/D over the last three months as well as averaging .8 kills per round and small .6 deaths per round. He is one of the top players in the league currently and with no more Nivera on the team. They can work together better as a core and it might help save their games. As Vitality has struggled over the last month or so, losing 6 of their last 7 and FaZe isn't too far behind. Look for a new Vitality team coming into this one and a win as well.

NiKo: I think a lot of people are going to see NiKo's price and immediately hop on and honestly it's a good spot to be in. I do worry to see how they are going to perform with them benching Kennys and bring Jackz back on. But one thing I don't have to worry about is NiKo's ability to perform well. They have a good matchup to start against NiP which should be a bloody one. He has gone positive in 9 of his last 11 matches and has just over a 1.10 K/D. With about .75 kills per round and .68 deaths per round, NiKo could see a high kill performance here especially if they can't manage to close games out and if the match goes to three maps. As he has 60+ kill upside in 3 game matches. I'm not sure that any teams are going to sweep in this group at least on the first day so finding the players who are going to get lots of kills might be the move coming into this match.

Other captain plays: ropz, Plopski, Shox, frozen

DFS Value Plays

acoR: acoR is a player I have loved to roster since his days of playing on MadLions. He has always been a consistent player to roster and we are getting him insanely cheap too at only 6,200. I really enjoy rostering him when he has matches like this against lower-level opponents cause he has able to use AWP very efficiently. He normally isn't a player that is gonna blow your socks off with a 60+ kill performance but when he is on with his AWP he has the power to drop 20+ kill games. He has been a little iffy but he also hasn't played in a month and I hope that has given mousesports a good amount of time to prep for this game and make sure they come in prepared. He has about a 1.o K/d and is averaging .66 kills per round as well as deaths. I like the upside that comes with acoR and if the odds are correct and Mousesports wins this match then acoR should score pretty well.

Shox: ZywOo's secondhand man right here. and we are getting him at 6,800. In games that Vitality has won, Shox has the ability to show out and play extremely well. But if the whole team is just getting trashed on well Shox tends to look like how I play CS:GO which is not very good. Shox in matches that Vitality has won he has gone for +17, +11, and +20 in the last couple of months. And with there being no risk of subbing out we can roster him without having to worry about what is going to happen on each map. Overall he has a 1.12 K/D and is averaging .74 kills per round and .66 deaths per round. I love Shox as a stacking partner with ZywOo and they can be a lethal duo in Vitality wins.

Other Value Plays: dexter, RpK, Amanek, doto (punt)

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Vitality: It's hard to recommend stack especially when I don't feel like any of these teams sweep tomorrow it's just so difficult as a good majority of the teams have been off for long periods of time. Vitality is going back to their 5 man squad and I think this helps them as they can practice solely as a core and not have to worry about subbing in. Which is also great for us as we don't have to worry about it either anymore. Both of these teams have looked horrible over the last month and it's hard to say this team is going to sweep when honestly we have no clue.

ZywOo is the best play on the slate and definitely where you should start your stacks. Shox and misutaaa are where I would look next both have been average players and if the team as a whole is doing well their stock rises and they continue to play well. RpK is very cheap for the upside he contains if he can get it going he is a lethal play it's just whether or not he can get it going. Apex is someone like RUSH who I wouldn't play even if I had to. He dies way too much and is averaging a poor.92 K/D. His DPR is .7 and that's just ugly to look at. He's a fade for me.

Mouz: Our largest odds on the slate is probably where most are going to look and they are definitely a cash stack for sure. Both Mouz and their Opponent Ence haven't played in over a month besides Ence played today against Havu and managed a 2-1 win. Mouz looked horrible in their losses at the IEM Katowice and that's definitely fair going up against the No.1 and No.4 teams in the world currently. I think the month off those is going to benefit them incredibly as they have had plenty of time to turn things around and practice for this tournament for that entire month. ropz is definitely the first place I would look to start stacks and frozen is also a good option. Bymas is not someone I like to play cause he is normally overpriced but he is a fair 7k so as long as he plays decent should cover but I like the value in acoR and Dexter better.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: G2, NiP

Note: I would not be surprised if any of these teams caused upsets. This is one of those slates that playing multiple lineups with different variations could be beneficial. Anything can happen in the wonderful world of CS:GO.

Predictions

Vitality beats FaZe 2-1

Mouz beats Ence 2-1

G2 beats NiP 2-1
