Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (3/11/21) - DraftKings Daily Fantasy

Koby's DraftKings. DFS lineup picks for Early Morning Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 3/11/21. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Hello Esports enthusiasts and welcome back to our Esports coverage of CS:GO DFS! The ESL Pro League tournament is upon us and 24 teams are up for a grand prize of 175,000$ to first place. There are 4 groups of 6 teams and each group will round-robin and play each other over the next 5 teams. So BiG decides to come out and show out on the day I pick against them huh. Seems suspicious. Basically, K1to saved that team as he was a whopping 2% owned in most tourneys and dropped 108 DKP. With a normal K1to performance, that game more than likely would have ended differently but anyways on to tomorrow's slate. We have Complexity taking on Renegades, BiG taking on FPX, and last but not least OG and Heroic facing off.

We have a lot to go over! So let's get right into it! Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on FanDuel and DraftKings for Thursday, March 11th at 6:00 AM ET.

DFS Captain Plays

BlameF: Blame might have not been able to get it done today against BiG but he still managed to go positive on the day even if it was just +1. He currently has a 1.5 K/D and is averaging an insane .81 kills per round and a very low .55 deaths per round. He is also averaging a near 1.3 Rating against Top 50 teams. Renegades is definitely the lower level of skill in this group and will more than likely lose every single map they play on. BlameF since having poizon back in the core has only 2 maps since the end of January resulting in a negative performance. If anything BlameF is going to be sending Renegades packing quickly as he is playing at an elite level right now. The only thing preventing us from rostering him at captain is his price being the top guy tomorrow and that can make things difficult for the rest of your lineup but if you can get there he is worth the price.

Syrson: Syrson is definitely one of the most consistent players on BiG other than Xantares. He can perform at high levels but even on bad days tends to put out at least a minimal positive game. I was on him against OG and he really played horribly but has looked a lot better including positive performances against Heroic and Complexity. They should be able to get it done here against FPX whose only win is against Renegades so far in group play. This should also result in a good performance from Syrson who has a 1.10 K/D and is averaging .7 kills per round and .63 death per round in the last month. If you are stacking BiG, Syrson is a great place to start!

Other captain plays: cadian, Xantares, k0nfig, stavn

DFS Value Plays

Xantares: With a great matchup ahead, I love the price we are getting on Xantares as 7,200 is simply too cheap for him. He has positive games in 6 of his last 8 with 5 of them being double-digit positive games. Xantares is rocking a 1.10 K/D with .67 kills per round and .61 deaths per round and has been consistently the 2nd best option on BiG for quite a while. He and Syrson are a great duo and should be able to take on FPX. Xantares has +18 and +12 in his last two games against Heroic and Complexity and both of these teams have beat FPX very easily. This one should be a quick one for BiG.

jks: Oh did he look bad today or what... Yeah, it was an off day for the Complexity squad. Looking for a rebound against the very poor Renegades team who has yet to win a map yet. This is the perfect spot for jks to get it back into gear and help pump out a big win. So far he has gone positive in both of Complexity's wins so far in the ESL Tournament. This game should result in the same situation as Complexity should be able to sweep Renegades. Jks is a cheap 6,800 and I really only like playing him in games I feel confident that Complexity is going to sweep or at least win. This seems to correlate to jks having a better day overall plus that nice RNP and sweep bonuses.

Other Value Plays: TeSeS, k1to, Tizian, RUSH, mantuu,

Top Stacks / Team Picks

BiG: BiG is coming off a big upset of Complexity due to a stellar performance from K1to who dropped 61 kills in two maps to get the sweep. I was quite surprised to see that as he played a lot better than usual and I'm not sure if this is going to be a regular thing or not from him as he usually is going negative as he has in 4 of his last 5 games. I think it might have been just a game where everything was clicking for him. But he gets a chance to replicate here against FPX who is now 1-2 in group play with their only win against the worse Renegades.

BiG should cruise to a win here and I love Syrson and Xantares in this spot as they should be able to feast in this situation. Tabsen is a pivot from either of the guys I previously mentioned but he is not as consistent as them. He has sparks in some games but tends to stay around even on the day or is negative. It is a good game environment though and he should be able to play well against FPX. Tizian is worth about as much as the sweep bonus. He is a complete boom or bust play and there is no knowing how well he is gonna play each given day.

Complexity: Complexity is gonna need some revenge after being completely dismantled by K1to and the rest of BiG. And what more of a perfect game other than the Renegades to go up against after a poor performance. Renegades haven't even won a round yet and are 0-6 in the tournament so far. This should be another easy win for Complexity and a much-needed rebound from their performance today. K0nfig and BlameF are the top plays with jks and poizon being other plays I like as well. Rush is not even worth a look at this point. He is just playing so poorly right now. Do what you can to avoid playing him until we see improvement in his game.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Heroic, OG(GPP)

Predictions

Heroic beats OG 2-1

Complexity beats Renegades 2-0

BiG beats FPX 2-0
