CS:GO DFS Picks

Best of 3 Series

  • G2 (+105) vs Furia (-145)
  • OG (-125) vs BiG (-110)
  • Mousesports vs Astralis

Captain Plays:

Valde: OG has been on a tear recently winning 7 of their last 9 games, and valde has been an absolute killer. In the last month, he has a 1.25 K/D and gets .76 kills per round, and has a minimal .61 deaths per round to top it off. We also get a discount on him as Mantuu is at the top of the team as usual. He has gone positive in the last 9 games and been a top 3 player in all but one of those games. OG 4 days ago beat BiG and valde was at the top going +18 on the day. valde and mantuu are the consistent leaders of this team and have scored well in wins, and with how recent the win against BiG was, I would not be surprised if they beat them back to back.

Device: Device just played Mousesports, and single-handedly was one of two players on the team that went positive and this was with Astralis winning the best of 5, in a 3-1 fashion. Device went +35 on the day, granted that was in a best of 5 and not a best of three but still, he was absolutely destroying Mouz. I do expect that Astralis will repeat this massacre and will more than likely be our cash or chalk option for the day. Device has a 1.40 K/D and is averaging an insane .83 kills per round. Astralis looked great in their loss today against Natus Vincere and almost pulled it off but choked in the back half of the 2nd and 3rd maps. Device even in the loss still went positive which is encouraging just in the case mousesports pulls off the upset.

Yuurih: Other than his last outing against Astralis, Yuurih is one of the most dominant players on Furia, posting 11 of his last 12 games having a positive and 80% of his maps over the last three months finishing with a positive rating. He averages a 1.30 K/D and gets about .82 kills per round with minimal deaths per round at .63 over the last month. Yuurih will more than likely be high owned so you could also pivot to KSCERATO as well, if you are looking to get a little different at captain but stay with the same team.

Other captain plays: syrson, Xantares, Mantuu, hunter, NiKo, dupreeh

Value Plays:

ISSAA: I went back and forth between ISSAA and Aleksib for a while and I landed on ISSAA based completely on recent form, Aleksib had a few games where he was doing well but the last few he has been off. ISSAA on the other hand has been going positive in his last 5 games. ISSAA is more reliant on the team doing well, in games where OG has won, ISSAA performs really well, and for a value play we aren't looking for much, and if OG gets the win, he should go positive and score well enough to make his price worth it. He has a 1.06 K/D and gets .67 kills per round and lower .63 deaths per round.

VINI: VINI has been one of the most impressive value plays recently, he has been a top 3 in 4 of his last 6 games and the top player on the team in two of those games, his upside is very high for his price. It makes it hard not to play him at his price. Furia just beat G2 a few days ago and that game VINI went +19 on the day and getting 64 kills. In the last month, he has a 1.15 K/D with .71 kills per round and .62 deaths per round.

Kennys: Kenny has been streaking recently in a very good way. He's been playing extremely well, something finally clicked with him and has been on fire ever since. Going positive in his last 6 games. Fanduel and DraftKings don't seem to agree as he is consistently underpriced. If you are looking for a contrarian play, G2 is more than likely going to be under-owned compared to their opponent Furia. So if you are looking to get different this could be the way to go.

Other Value Plays: Aleksib, Perfecto, gla1ve, HEN1

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

OG: OG had been quite dominant in the Flashpoint 2 tournament. Pulling out a sweet 2nd place, they have won 7 of their last 9 games and in the two losses, they were both very close games against MiBR and Virtus. pro. Where the likes of Valde and Mantuu both still went positive in those games. They are my favorite plays from OG as well as ISSAA. Aleksib and NBK both have upside in a win but are more reliant on a sweep to happen to score well. OG beat BiG 4 days ago and won 35-27 in a sweep. BiG has taken two rough losses in a row against OG and Virtus. Pro. OG is my favorite stack and might be a little more overlooked as FURIA and Astralis have better odds.

Furia: Furia has been one of the more impressive teams in recent weeks. They made it all the way to the semi-finals before being swept against a tough Astralis team. Before that, they had big wins against Complexity, G2, and North. They have won 6 of their last 7 and looked pretty dominant in those games. Yuurih is a top play for FURIA with KSCERATO and VINI not far behind either. I like Hen1 as well as a more contrarian play. arT would be my fade from Furia.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Astralis, G2
