Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (12/4/20) - FanDuel, DraftKings Daily Fantasy

Koby's DraftKings. DFS lineup picks for Early Morning Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 12/4/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Hello Esports enthusiasts and welcome to our Esports coverage of CS:GO DFS! The DreamHack Masters' Winter Tournament continues! My name is Koby and I'll be here to help make those tough decisions on who to play and who not to play in your DFS contests!

Today, we saw Cloud9 put on a smoke show and swept Team Spirit out of the tournament, now having to face MouseSports who swept them a week ago can they get revenge? As well, we saw Astralis take G2 into OT to win and get the sweep! We have four more games to look into today so let’s get right into it. Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on FanDuel and DraftKings for Friday, December 4th at 7:00 am ET.

Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Research Station, Projections, and DFS Cheat Sheets! CS:GO DFS Picks

Best of 3 Series

  • MadLions vs. MiBR (DK)
  • BiG (-155) vs. OG (+115)  (DK)
  • Cloud9 (+160) vs. MouseSports (-215)
  • Complexity (+110) vs. FURIA (-150)
  • Astralis (-210) vs. Gambit (+155)
  • Heroic (-275) vs. GODSENT (+200)

Captain Plays:

BlameF: BlameF went off for an impressive 81 kills against FaZe today, they get a tough test next against FURIA who has won 5 straight. If blameF continues to play the way that he did today, it's going to be hard not to want to roster him. He has a 1.30 K/D and gets about .77 kills per round and only .59 deaths per round. I also like BlameF as a one-off as he scores well even in losses as long as it's not a blowout. I also like the discount we get on him as K0nfig is always the top-priced player for Complexity.

Stavn: Stavn tops our pricing this week at a crisp 12.5k. That is exceptionally high but the pricing is justified. stavn has been one of the best players in the world right now. Heroic recently lost to GODSENT, but Heroic should be able to adjust and fix their mistakes that were made in that game. GODSENT has been struggling and barely squeaked by a bad North team. Expect Heroic to take over this one and stavn to be leading the team to victory. Stavn has a 1.15 K/D and gets about .76 kills per round as well as .67 deaths per round.

sh1ro: A low-owned tournament option is sh1ro, he has been absolutely dominant, dropping an average of 83 points in the last two sweeps during this tournament, Gambit does get a much more difficult opponent but they have been making teams look horrible lately. Sh1ro has an insane 1.55 K/D in the last three months and averaging, .75 kills per round and only .49 deaths per round! With his teammate Ax1le not far behind either, It's definitely a risk playing the underdog here especially against a team like Astralis. But if Gambit continues to play the way they have been, they could be the team to beat here.

Other captain plays: acor(DK), Ropz, frozen, syrson, yuurih, cadian, k0nfig, Ax1le, Alex

Value Plays:

TeSeS: As long as Fanduel continues to price TeSeS like a noob, I'm going to continue to put him in the articles. This guy is a top 3 player on the team!! and he is priced towards the bottom at 9.1k. He doesn't put up massive points but he is still a critical part of this team and to put him below b0rup is disrespectful. He is probably going to be high owned at this price and that's fine as I will eat that chalk all day. TeSeS has a 1.1 K/D and gets about .71 kills per round and only .66 deaths per round. He has also been Top 3 in kills on his team in his last 5 games.

Woxic: If you want to move away from the chalk a bit. Woxic has been great recently especially in wins. He is a top 2-3 player on his team. In a smash of a win today against Team Spirit, Woxic went +18 on the day and leading his team in kills. This is going to be definitely a challenge for Cloud9 going up against Mousesports who just defeated them last week, but if Cloud9 can pull this one out and defy the odds once again expect Woxic to be doing work and helping his team get the W.

interz: Here is my punt of the day. Internz is 8.5k. He is the 2nd cheapest player on the slate. I only bring Internz into the conversation because of recency bias, he has been playing very well the last three games and his price makes him intriguing, if he is able to continue going positive, you could be looking at a slate breaker or a top value play on the day. Gambit is playing Astralis though and this could be the toughest test they have had in the last few months. Nafany can also be considered a value play as well and should be considered safer in this case. If interz helps you get that final player you want, it could be worth the punt.

Other Value Plays: Poizon, gla1ve, VINI, Dupreeh, Alex, roej (DK), tizian, sjuush,

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

Heroic: Heroic has our top matchup on the slate today, they face a GODSENT team who has struggled in recent weeks barely pulling out a win over North today. Heroic is the last team that you want to mess around with. They are the 2nd best team in the world currently. Stavn is currently the highest-rated player in the tournament currently at 1.44. and he has some of the best teammates around him in TeSeS, Cadian, and Niko. Heroic should be considered a top stack going into this slate.

Gambit: This is going to be the toughest test to date for Gambit coming against the 4th ranked Astralis. Gambit is currently on an impressive 19 game winning streak with only 3 of those games not being a sweep in favor of Gambit. This is going to be more of a risk but Gambit is in fantastic form right now and potentially has a good chance at coming into this and upsetting Astralis. Gambit currently has 4 of the top-rated players in this event so far. Absolutely pummeling Complexity and Cloud9 in the process. Gambit might be overlooked as they are playing Astralis but they could come in and be a low owned option that blows this slate up. sh1ro, ax1le, and hobbit are all great plays.

MadLions (DK): MadLions are coming into this one winning 3 of their last 5 and all those wins fairly decisive as well. They are going to be playing MiBR, who was just pummeled into the ground by fnatic just earlier today. They have a team K/D of 1.04 and have been lead by Sjuush, acor, and Refrezh. These guys have all been killing in this event and as long as that continues they should score well, but dont count out MiBR as they can upset any team at any time but after that poor performance against Fnatic today that makes the MadLions pick feel a lot safer.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Cloud9, Astralis, OG(DK), mousesports, Complexity, FURIA
