CS:GO DFS Picks

Best of 3 Series

  • Heroic (-650) vs c0ntact gaming (+380)
  • Team Spirit (-150) vs FaZe (+150)
  • Astralis (-700) vs GODSENT (+400)
  • Team Liquid (-105) vs Mousesports (-130)
  • Cloud9 (-120) vs Gambit (-105)
  • Complexity (-500) vs Ence (+325)

Captain Plays:

BlameF: In the last three months BlameF has been on a tear. Going positive in 78% of maps played. He sits nicely with a 1.3 K/D and gets about .77 Kills per round and only .60 Deaths per round. My favorite part about BlameF is the fact they always price him a lot cheaper compared to K0nfig. 1,000$ could be the difference between getting another star player or having to drop down and play another value play. BlameF has looked great and I love the matchup he has against a struggling Ence team who has lost their last 8 matches.

Device: Device is one of the top-rated players in the world. He is 2nd in the league in match rating, 2nd in Kill/death differential, and 4th in the world in kills per round. He has a 1.25 K/D, gets about .78 kills per round, and only .62 deaths per round. He is consistently one of the top plays on Astralis and with the matchup they have. Device might be one of the highest-scoring players on the slate and one of my favorite options to play at the captain spot.

Cadian: A lower owned/priced captain is Cadian who along with stavn and TeSeS continually switch around as the top 3 players on their team. I really love the price on Cadian and he is cheaper than Niko and has more of a chance to score better than Niko as well. He has a 1.16 K/D and gets about .70 Kills per round and a minimal .60 deaths per round. Other than his last game in the loss against Mousesports, cadian had gone positive in every game for the last month. Cadian is also a great way to pivot away from stavn at the captain spot.

Other captain plays: NAF, Floppy, mir, Dupreeh, stavn, ropz, Allu(GPP)

Value Plays:

TeSeS: Heroic has one of the highest odds on this large slate and one of the best players on their team is also the cheapest. This will more than likely be very chalky as this is just straight disrespect to TeSeS, 9,100 makes him a  fantastic play especially in a Heroic stack. TeSeS holds a 1.12 K/D over the last three months and gets about .71 Kills per round while only getting .67 deaths per round. TeSeS has been a top 2 player on his team in 4 of his last 5 games and is priced like the worst player on his team.

Grim:  In recent games, Grim has looked great. Fanduel still hasn't priced him up and that looks great for us as he could be a great one-off play that has been playing very well. In his last 5 games he has gone +1, +13, +5, +13, +3 and in two of those are losses. This is intriguing especially in such a close game as even if TL were to lose, grim could still score well in the loss, and at his price that's something that I like a lot. He has a 1.05 K/D with about .70 kills per round and .66 deaths per round.

Gla1ve: Other than a rough loss to Natus Vincere, Gla1ve has looked great especially for someone worth only 9k. He has averaged around 71 points in the 4 games prior to the loss to Natus. With Astralis being such large favorites gla1ve could be looking at a nice game with a little sweep bonus to top it off. We don't need much out of his price and that's about what you will get out of gla1ve he has a .95 K/D and only gets about .62 kills per round but a very respectable .65 deaths per round as well.

Other value plays:  Chopper, poizon, RUSH, dupreeh, twistzz

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

Complexity: Complexity took a very rough loss against Cloud9 blowing it in the final rounds of the third map. Complexity has been one of the most impressive teams as of late and is now -500 favorites and they still make for one of my favorite stacks. BlameF is still priced down and k0nfig has been playing great. The main focus of Complexity should be stopping Allu on Ence, They stop him, and it's basically over for Ence, They have won 4 of their last 6 games including a big win over Natus Vincere who is a top 5 team in the world. Complexity played Ence a few months ago 2-1. All players are great options other than RUSH unless you need a cheap punt.

Astralis: Astralis is the No.4 ranked team in the world right now and has shown they have been very dominant recently. Winning 4 of their last 6 with one of them being against the No. 1 team in the world. They have the largest odds on the slate and are playing a GODSENT team that is coming off 2 rough losses in a row against Mousesports and Espada. Astralis have one of the best chances at a sweep bonus out of all teams to choose from. All Astralis players are looking to be great plays with my favorites being Device, Dupreeh, and gla1ve for a cheap play.

Heroic: Heroic is the 2nd ranked team in the world and is playing c0ntact gaming who is 55th ranked in the world. Heroic is one of the highest chances to sweep on the slate as c0ntact hasn't looked great this month losing 2 straight to Dignitas and Fnatic which are definitely rough losses and neither of them are on the level that Heroic is. The only issue that could present itself with Heroic is they finish the game to quickly and don't score as well as other teams on the slate. My favorite plays for Heroic is Stavn, Cadian, and TeSeS. Niko is a little overpriced and TeSeS is cheaper than B0rup and is a better play.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Cloud9, TeamSpirit, Mousesports, Team Liquid
