DreamHack Open Fall 2020

Best of 3 Series

  • Fnatics (+110) vs. OG (-150)
  • G2 (-300) vs. Endpoint (+210)
  • BIG (-125) vs. FaZe (-110)
  • ENCE (-150) vs. North (+110)
  • Astralis (-200) vs. Heroic (+150)

Captain Picks

NiKo has been playing extremely well and is returning to the great form that he showed early on in the 2020 year. Over his last 19 maps played, NiKo has accrued a 1.21 K/D ratio and a .81 kill per round rate. He is doing 90 damage per round which is one of the highest rates damage rates on the slate. NiKo has performed well against BIG recently as he had a 1.61 K/D ratio over his last two maps against them. When looking at NiKo's scores, he has performed exceptionally as he has gone for 70+ DK points in six of his last seven games played.

device has been one of the most consistent players on this slate and he comes in at the modest price of $8,800 on this slate. He is coming off of back-to-back 90+ DK point games and has produced a 1.18 K/D ratio over the last 22 maps played. During this stretch, device has produced a .73 kill per round rate while having a low .62 death per round rate. This should be a highly contested contest against Heroic and he has produced a 1.05 K/D ratio in six maps played so while he might not have the highest ceiling, he has one of the better floors that could be used in cash games.

Other Picks: mantuu, Allu, nexa

Value Picks

ISSAA is always underpriced and for his recent play, he should be considered in all formats. Over his last 10 matches played, ISSAA has gone plus in the K/D differential department in seven of those matches. Over the last 15 maps played ISSAA has generated a K/D ratio of 1.09 while having a .68 kill per round rate. ISSAA has excelled in prior matches against Fnatics as he has had a 1.47 K/D ratio over a five-map span this year and a +31 K/D differential during that time. With OG being in a good position against Fnatic, ISSAA would make a great play in both cash game and tournament lineups.

broky has been on fire over the last month as he has produced a 1.18 K/D ratio. Over his last eight matches played, broky has gone plus in six of those contests while finishing 78.9% of those matches with a 1+ rating. broky has shown some upside lately as he has produced 60+ DK points in five of his last eight games played. Throughout the 2020 season, broky has produced a 1.15 K/D ratio against BIG which shows us he is viable for both cash and tournament lineups.

Other Picks: stavn, niko, TeSeS, KRIMZ, dupreeh, Brollan

Team Stacks

OG looks to be in one of the better spots to stack the full squad. They are one of the larger favorites on the slate and have found success against Fnatic in the past as they have a 6-2-1 all-time record. OG are winners of three of their last five matches played and have gone 8-7 over the last 15 maps played. They are a tough out and force games to go three games 57% of the time (over the last 54 maps played).

OG has had some strong play from some of their top players over the last month. mantuu leads the squad with a 1.13 K/D ratio over the last month while ISSAA and valde are right behind him with a 1.09 K/D ratio. If you're looking for a big-time value play, NBK- is just $9,000 and he has produced a  1.03 K/D ratio over his last 15 maps played.

FaZe has been playing really well and while the matchup against BIG does not look ideal, the recent form that FaZe is showing warrants consideration as a stack. FaZe has done well over the last month as they have gone 14-5 over the last 19 maps played. As a team, they have produced a K/D ratio of 1.10 which has been much better compared to the team K/D ratio of BIG who have generated a .95 K/D ratio over their last 20 maps played.

FaZe has gotten some strong play from their top guys like NiKo and broky. They have been the two strongest and most consistent FaZe players over the last month as they have produced K/D differentials over +50 over their last 19 maps played. If looking for a value play from FaZe, rain comes in at $6,400 and he has produced a K/D ratio of 1.05 over his last 19 maps played. While BIG might carry some ownership due to name alone, hopefully, FaZe comes in lower owned and they carry over the good form that they have shown over the last month.

Other Picks: G2, Astralis
