Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (9/18/20) - DraftKings, Daily Fantasy

Jorge Pucks' DraftKings. DFS lineup picks for Early Morning Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 9/18/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks.  I have been focusing on the NHL playoffs but as the hockey season starts to wind down, it is time to shift the focus back to CS:GO. As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CS:GO contests on DraftKings.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Friday, September 18th, 2020 at 8:00 AM.

Captain Plays:

mir is a top option on this slate and is priced at just $8,400. He carries big-time upside as he has scored 90+ DK point in two of his last four games and is in great recent form as he has a 1.25 K/D ratio.

mir has a .80 kill per round rate over his last 32 maps played which is one of the highest kill per round rates on the entire slate. What makes it even better is that he carries a lower death per round rate of just .64. mir gives you a great floor for your lineups and will see high ownership due to the price point and with how well he has done recently.

device has been such a  consistent player for Astralis that he is hard to pass up on in your dfs lineups. He has scored 50+ points in five straight games played and is averaging 62.2 DK points per game which is a top-five average on the slate.

Over the last month of games played, device has produced a 1.13 k/D ratio and had an assist or kill in 73.6% of rounds played. During that same stretch, he has accrued a .72 kill per round rate while having a death per round rate of .64. If looking for one of the safer captain plays for your lineup, look no further than device.

Other captain plays: NiKo, ELIGE

 

Value Plays:

iDISBALANCE looks to be one of the best overall plays on the slate for his price point of just $7,200. Over the last 32 maps played, he has produced a 1.20 K/D ratio while having a  kill per round rate of .72 while having a death per round rate of .60.

Since iDISBALANCE carries such a low death rate, it shows that he has a consistent floor and limits his deaths which is crucial for your dfs lineups success. Another stat that goes in favor of iDISBALANCE is that he gets a kill or assist on 73.4% of rounds played which shows that he is extremely active in all rounds played. He is viable in all formats and can even be considered as a cheap value play in this match against Mousesports.

Brollan is priced all the way down at $6,400 which is just too cheap to pass up. In his most recent match against Vitality, he was priced at $8,400 so a $2,000 drop is quite shocking. While the matchup against Astralis is tough, Brollan is a good enough individual player that can hold his own and still score well.

Over the last three months, Brollan has carried a 1.14 K/D ratio and a .76 kill per round rate. When shrinking that down to the last month of games played, Brollan has struggled as he has only had a 1.03 K/D ratio. What is really shocking is his kill per round rate dropped to .70 but his death per round rate is now hovering around .68. Brollan is a talented individual but the matchup itself makes him really only viable for tournament builds.

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

Spirit comes into this matchup as the largest favorite on the slate. They have won three of their last five games played and have really done well over the last month of games played. Over their last 32 maps, Spirit has gone 23-9 with a K/D ratio of 1.10. Mousesports on the other hand has gone 9-9 over their last 19 matches played and are carrying a team K/D ratio of .90. Not only does Spirit have the better form, but they also get the edge on the map advantage as they have a higher winning percentage on six of the seven playable maps over the last three months.

From this squad,  mir leads the team in K/D ratio and is reasonably priced which makes it easy to fit into your lineups. iDISBALANCE ranks second on the squad in the K/D department and makes for a great stacking partner. If looking to round out the three-man grouping, both sdy and magixx are viable options as they both carry above a 1.07 K/D ratio over the last 32 maps played.

Astralis is another major favorite on the slate and they look to be back to being the dominant Astralis team that we saw early on in the summertime. Astralis holds an incredible record of 34-13-5 against Fnatic all-time and is showing they are in good form as they have won four straight matches. Over the last 18 matches played, Astralis has gone 12-6 while holding a team K/D ratio of 1.13. Fnatic has struggled over their last 20 maps played as they have gone 8-12 while having a team K/D ratio of .97 during that timeframe.

The usual suspects are all in play for Astralis. device, Magisk, and dupreeh are all viable in all formats as they have been the most consistent Astralis players to roster over the last month. Gla1ve is another Astralis player to consider but it is tough to squeeze them altogether since they all carry moderate to high price tags.
