St. Louis Blues defenseman Justin Faulk (mouth) won't play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Chicago Blackhawks. Faulk was hurt in St. Louis' previous preseason matchup against the Ottawa Senators, needing stitches after taking a stick to his mouth. Despite this setback, he may still be available for the Blues' season opener against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night. Faulk plays as a top-four regular in St. Louis and picked up 32 points (four goals, 28 assists) in 78 outings last season. The 33-year-old has finished four consecutive campaigns with at least 30 points and 100 blocks, averaging 1.4 hits per game.--Taavi Pailk
