The Green Bay Packers have signed defensive tackle Javon Hargrave to a two-year, $23 million contract, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Hargrave, a two-time Pro Bowler, now stays in the NFC North after spending 2025 with the Minnesota Vikings. In the purple and gold, he amassed one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, 3.5 sacks, and 52 total tackles across 16 games (15 starts). Even at 33 years old, Hargrave has remained a very productive staple among NFL defensive lines, and he'll cash in with a new deal that pays him eight figures annually. He projects to earn a starting spot alongside Devonte Wyatt in new defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon's system. It's worth noting that this is a reunion of sorts between coach and player, as Gannon was Hargrave's defensive coordinator in Philadelphia from 2021 through 2022.--Andersen Pickard

The Green Bay Packers signed former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver/returner Skyy Moore to an undisclosed one-year deal on Tuesday, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Moore averaged 27.5 yards per kick return and 11.6 yards per punt return last year with San Francisco. On offense, the 25-year-old former second-round pick (54th overall) by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022 out of Western Michigan only caught five of seven targets for 87 yards in 17 regular-season games. Moore didn't do a ton in his first three years with the Chiefs on offense, either, contributing just 43 receptions on 74 targets for 494 yards and one touchdown in 36 games (11 starts). More than anything else, Moore will give the Packers a boost on special teams as a return man. In fantasy football, however, he should continue to be ignored across the board.--Keith Hernandez

The New England Patriots are signing former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs to a four-year deal for roughly $70 million on Tuesday, multiple sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. The 25-year-old former fourth-round pick (132nd overall) in 2022 out of Nevada had 202 catches on 320 targets for 2,424 yards and 21 touchdowns in 59 games (50 starts) in his four seasons with the Packers. Doubs had a career-high 724 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 16 regular-season games on 85 targets last year, filling in nicely for the offense with several other wideouts battling injuries throughout the year. He doesn't have the upside of a high-end WR1 in fantasy or real life, but Doubs is a significant signing for New England and for young quarterback Drake Maye to help replace Stefon Diggs. Depending on what else the Pats do at the receiver position in free agency, trades, and the draft, Doubs could have more upside left in an excellent landing spot.--Keith Hernandez

The Green Bay Packers are releasing cornerback Nate Hobbs (knee) on Tuesday with a post-June 1 designation, a source told Rob Demovsky of ESPN. With the move, the Packers will save $8 million against the 2026 salary cap. The move doesn't come as a huge surprise, as Hobbs played in only 11 games (five starts) for the second straight season in 2025 and finished the year with a torn MCL that he suffered in Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens. The 26-year-old signed a four-year, $48 million contract with Green Bay in March of last year. Hobbs was drafted in 2021 by the Las Vegas Raiders in the fifth round out of Illinois. It's unclear if Hobbs will be ready to go for the start of the 2026 season this fall, but if he is, he should be a candidate to start with another team. Injuries have been an issue for him, though, as Hobbs has played more than 13 games in a season just once, back in his rookie season in 2021.--Keith Hernandez

The Miami Dolphins are signing former Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis to a three-year, $67.5 million deal with $45 million fully guaranteed on Monday, sources told Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Miami was always the obvious landing spot for Willis, who will reunite with head coach Jeff Hafley and general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan from their time in Green Bay. The Dolphins are releasing Tua Tagovailoa, paving the way for Willis to take over starting QB duties for the Dolphins in 2026. The 26-year-old former third-rounder of the Tennessee Titans in 2022 out of Liberty appeared in 11 games (three starts) for Green Bay the last two years and was impressive, completing 78.7% of his pass attempts for 976 yards, six touchdowns, and no interceptions. He added 262 rushing yards and three rushing TDs. Willis' dual-threat abilities will make him an intriguing QB2 dart throw with plenty of upside, although the Dolphins will need to add some playmakers at receiver to help him out.--Keith Hernandez

Impending free-agent wide receiver Romeo Doubs plans to hit the free-agent market after talks with the Green Bay Packers didn't result in a new deal. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the New England Patriots, Washington Commanders, and Tennessee Titans are "closely watching his market," as are the San Francisco 49ers. Some evaluators consider Doubs to be the "best all-around receiver" in this year's group on the open market. It's basically the same list of interested teams for Indianapolis Colts impending wideout Alec Pierce. Doubs led the Packers with 724 receiving yards and six touchdown catches on 55 receptions in 16 regular-season games. The production doesn't exactly turn a ton of heads, but the 25-year-old has proven to be reliable and versatile, which will attract plenty of interest in free-agency. Doubs could be one of the most underrated sleeper receivers in fantasy drafts this fall, depending on his landing spot.--Keith Hernandez

The Green Bay Packers and offensive tackle Sean Rhyan reached an agreement on Sunday on a three-year, $33 million contract extension with a maximum value of $39 million, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The deal includes an $11 million signing bonus and prevents Rhyan from reaching the free-agent market. The 25-year-old former third-round pick by the Packers in 2022 out of UCLA is expected to open the 2026 season this fall as the team's starting center after taking over the position last year when Elgton Jenkins suffered a season-ending leg injury in November. Rhyan has started 28 of the 47 games he's appeared in over his four NFL seasons, with 28 of those starts coming in the last two years. The 6-foot-5, 321-pounder will take on a bigger role for the Packers' offensive line moving forward.--Keith Hernandez

Wide receiver Romeo Doubs is set to hit free agency for the first time in his career after talks with the Green Bay Packers were unable to result in a new deal, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Amidst an underwhelming free agent class topped by the soon-to-be 26-year-old Alec Pierce, the market for Doubs is expected to be robust. He has averaged over 50 receptions for almost 700 yards and six touchdowns over the past three seasons and profiles as a WR2 or 3 on most offenses, utilized primarily along the boundary over the course of his four-year career. While he has struggled with untimely drops, his 5.2% drop rate in 2025 was the lowest of his career, while 66.3% reception rate marked a personal best.--Patrick McGrath

Green Bay Packers linebacker Quay Walker is set to become a free agent this Monday. The former first-round pick is expected to have strong value on the open market. The Packers reportedly made a strong push to sign Walker to an extension, but the two sides couldn't finalize a deal. Instead of chasing Walker in free agency, Green Bay acquired Zaire Franklin from the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday. Walker hasn't played a full season since his rookie season in 2022, but that hasn't stopped him from posting impressive numbers. Last season, Walker recorded a career-high 128 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and eight tackles for loss in 14 contests. The 25-year-old should have no problems landing a hefty multi-year deal this offseason.--Andy Webb

The Indianapolis Colts traded linebacker Zaire Franklin to the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. In exchange, the Colts will receive defensive lineman Colby Wooden in what is a rare player-for-player trade. Franklin has spent the entirety of his career with Indy after being drafted in the seventh round by the organization in 2018. He became a full-time starter in 2020 and earned his first Pro Bowl selection during the 2022 campaign. This move gives the Packers a reliable linebacker to pair with Edgerrin Cooper. Fellow linebacker Quay Walker is set to become a free agent, so the move to acquire Franklin could soften that blow. As for Wooden, he became a full-time starter this past season in Green Bay. He recorded 50 tackles and nine tackles for loss in 16 games. The former fourth-round pick should be a viable option on the defensive line.--Andy Webb

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love showed his upside in the Wild-Card playoff loss to the Chicago Bears in his last game of the season, throwing for 323 yards and four touchdowns on 24-for-46 passing. In 15 regular-season starts in 2025 in his fifth year in the league, the 27-year-old completed 66.3% of his passes for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdown passes, and six interceptions. The former first-rounder has had his ups and downs in his three full seasons as Green Bay's starting signal-caller, but it was a good sign to see him drop his interceptions from double digits each of the previous two seasons. Love can be a QB1 for fantasy managers in the right matchups in head coach Matt LaFleur's offense, but he's best drafted as a high-end QB2 going into his sixth season this fall. He finished as the QB16 in overall fantasy points last year, averaging 16.5 fantasy points per game.--Keith Hernandez

The San Francisco 49ers have an interest in impending free-agent wide receivers Alec Pierce and Romeo Doubs, according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. Brandon Aiyuk (knee) will be released soon, and it "sure seems" like Jauan Jennings won't be retained at the wide receiver position in the Bay Area. Former first-rounder and injury-prone wideout Ricky Pearsall would be the team's top wideout if both Aiyuk and Jennings leave, which is why it's not a surprise at all that the 49ers are looking at both Pierce and Doubs. Both wideouts are coming off career years with the Colts and Packers, respectively, and are in line for bigger roles with new teams in 2026 and beyond. Pierce, 25, had 1,003 yards and six touchdowns on 47 catches in 15 games as Indy's leading receiver. Doubs, 25, had a 55-724-6 line in 16 regular-season games. Pierce has a higher fantasy ceiling because of his big-play ability; he's led the league the last two years in yards per reception.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers edge rusher Rashan Gary, who has been the subject of trade talks, doesn't expect to return to the team in 2026, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. Gary announced on social media that his time in Green Bay was over before deleting the post. He is due $19.5 million in 2026 with no guaranteed money. Before outright releasing the 28-year-old linebacker, the Packers will try to see if another team will take him off their hands in a trade. The former 12th overall pick in 2019 out of Michigan was a first-time Pro Bowler in 2024, and he had a second straight season of 7.5 sacks in 16 regular-season games in 2025, adding 45 tackles (25 solo), seven tackles for loss, 20 QB hits, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Gary has two years left on his four-year, $96 million contract, and he has a $28 million salary cap number for 2026. He has 46.5 sacks in his seven NFL seasons and would most likely be picked up by another team pretty quickly if he reaches the open market.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson missed the first seven weeks of 2025 with an ACL injury sustained late in 2024, but in his 10 games played in 2025, he delivered a 17-game pace of 60 catches for 1,039 yards and 10 touchdowns, finishing as a top-five fantasy wide receiver three times. Four-year veteran Romeo Doubs, who led the team in targets, receptions, and yards in 2025, is now set to test free agency, leaving an opening for Watson to take over as the Packers' unquestioned WR1. Green Bay is expected to have tight end Tucker Kraft back in the fold after pacing the team in receiving before missing the final nine games with an ACL injury of his own, and speedster Matthew Golden is expected to take a leap after finishing his rookie campaign without a regular-season touchdown catch. So while the competition for Doubs' potentially vacated targets could be stiff, Watson's career-high 2.51 yards per route run led the team in 2025, and he will look to thrive in a potentially expanded role in 2026.--Patrick McGrath

The Green Bay Packers and running back Chris Brooks agreed to a two-year, $4.85 million deal on Wednesday, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Brooks served as the team's RB3 in 2025 behind starter Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson, carrying the ball only 27 times for 106 yards and no touchdowns in 17 regular-season games, adding a career-high 13 catches for another 91 yards on 17 targets. Wilson isn't expected to be tendered a contract as a restricted free agent, but Brooks will most likely operate as Green Bay's RB3 again in 2026 behind Jacobs and MarShawn Lloyd, if he's healthy. The 26-year-old former undrafted free agent out of BYU only has 395 rushing yards and one touchdown on 82 rushing attempts in his first three years in the NFL. He spent his rookie season in 2023 with the Dolphins.--Keith Hernandez
