The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) is tracking to be ready for the Week 1 regular-season opener. The biggest question now before the start of the regular season is whether the Packers will give Kraft a contract extension that will make him the highest-paid tight end in the league. It remains to be seen if Kraft will play in the preseason at all, but even if he doesn't, it looks like fantasy managers will have him available to begin the 2026 campaign. The 25-year-old former third-rounder in 2023 from South Dakota State was in the midst of a breakout year before tearing his ACL, as he caught 32 of 44 targets for 489 yards and six touchdowns in just eight starts. There isn't going to be any real discount on Kraft in fantasy football drafts because of his serious knee issue from a year ago, with many pundits predicting his breakout to come in 2026 if he can stay healthy all year. RotoBaller currently has Kraft ranked as the No. 5 fantasy TE, behind Brock Bowers, Trey McBride, Colston Loveland, and Tyler Warren.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love said the biggest difference between this year's offense and the 2025 version is "our ability to finish," according to Kevin Clark of ESPN. Love explained that the offense's inability to finish late in games and late in the season is why they ultimately fell short last year, and it has been their goal and mindset to finish stronger in 2026, regardless of the situation. Love continued to focus on having a better mindset and focus late in games for every player on the team to do their job better in crunch time. The 27-year-old Love threw for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns, and only six interceptions in 15 regular-season starts in 2025 in his fifth year in the league, good enough for a QB16 finish in fantasy. Head coach Matt LaFleur staying aggressive over the course of entire games could give Love the passing volume he needs to finish in the QB1 territory in 2026, but fantasy managers should be drafting him as a strong QB2 with a solid floor.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (ankle) returned to practice Tuesday after sitting out the previous two sessions, according to Rob Demovsky. Reed's 2025 season was basically lost to injuries, so even a short August absence gets a little more attention than it otherwise might. He broke his collarbone in Week 2 and had a lingering foot injury surgically repaired at the same time, eventually finishing with 19 catches for 207 yards and one touchdown in seven games. Green Bay still showed its confidence in Reed by signing him to a contract extension in April, and he enters this season alongside Christian Watson and Matthew Golden as one of the receivers expected to lead the group. It is not yet clear how much Reed did during Tuesday's practice, so calling him a full participant would be premature. The quick return is good news for fantasy managers, and for now keeps the ankle issue from looking like a lengthy camp absence. Reed is currently No. 98 overall in RotoBaller's PPR rankings.--Bruno Mulé

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden (toe) returned to practice Tuesday, according to Rob Demovsky. Golden had been sidelined since Family Night, where he caught a 57-yard touchdown from Jordan Love and continued a strong start to his second training camp. The 2025 first-round pick had 29 catches for 361 yards and no touchdowns in 14 regular-season games as a rookie, but Green Bay has created more room for him this year after Romeo Doubs left in free agency and Dontayvion Wicks was traded. Golden, Christian Watson and Jayden Reed are expected to lead the receiver group. The quick return is encouraging, especially after Golden dealt with shoulder and wrist injuries during his rookie season, but it is not yet clear how much work he handled Tuesday. For now, the toe issue looks like a brief interruption rather than something that should change his fantasy outlook.--Bruno Mulé

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs remains one of the players who could face discipline from the NFL, according to Adam Schefter. Jacobs was arrested in May following an alleged domestic incident in Wisconsin and was released the next day while prosecutors requested additional investigation before making a formal charging decision. Jacobs has denied wrongdoing through his attorneys. No punishment has been announced by the league, so there is no reason yet to guess at how much time he might miss. It is worth following for fantasy purposes, though. Jacobs ran for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns in 15 games last season while catching 36 passes for 282 yards and another score. He is also currently sidelined with a groin injury that will keep him out at least this week. MarShawn Lloyd has gotten first-team work with Jacobs sidelined, though Green Bay's unofficial depth chart currently has Chris Brooks ahead of Lloyd. If Jacobs eventually misses regular-season games, that backup battle would suddenly become much more important.--Bruno Mulé

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that as of right now, quarterback Jordan Love will play in the team's preseason opener on Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, although he said he reserves the right to change his mind, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN. LaFleur said there is "value in getting mentally prepared to go play a game." If Love does play on Thursday night, he likely won't be in the game for more than a couple of offensive series, and he probably won't be working with all of the team's offensive skill players. Going into his fourth year as the Packers' full-time QB, Love ranks 19th in RotoBaller's QB rankings for the 2026 season after throwing for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 15 regular-season starts in 2025. Consistency has evaded the former first-rounder from Utah State, but there is still plenty of fantasy upside because of his success with the deep ball in Green Bay's offense. With better health from the entire Packers' offense this year, Love is an intriguing QB2 target with upside.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (groin) has been sidelined since Thursday while dealing with a groin issue, and in speaking with reporters on Tuesday, head coach Matt LaFleur said, "He's gonna be out for at least this week." The Packers open their preseason schedule on Thursday with a road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and while Jacobs was unlikely to see much, if any, work even if healthy, the given timeline sets the team's second preseason game against the Broncos on August 21 as his next opportunity for a tune-up ahead of the regular season. Injuries derailed Jacobs' 2025 campaign, and a tumultuous offseason followed by soft tissue concerns in training camp have seen him slip in 2026 drafts, often into the third round. While now a riskier pick than he has been in previous seasons, Jacobs still has RB1 upside and could prove to be one of the season's top values if he can stay on the field and healthy.--Patrick McGrath

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love believes his timing and chemistry with the starting receivers have improved this training camp. After spreading the ball to more weapons last season, Love said working mostly with Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, and Matthew Golden has accelerated their timing, something they couldn't do a year ago given their depth. "You build trust and understanding of where guys are going to be and how things time up." The Packers traded wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles and let Romeo Doubs walk this offseason. While both departures could cause problems if Reed, Watson, or Golden get injured, Love should be in a good spot with all three receivers early in 2026.--Nathan Harvey

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Savion Williams was a standout during the team's training camp practice on Sunday, according to Weston Hodkiewicz of Packers.com. "I think he was seven of eight catching the football. I think he had a good day," head coach Matt LaFleur said. The 24-year-old was able to turn some heads with both Jayden Reed (ankle) and Matthew Golden (toe) sitting out with minor injuries. Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks are no longer in Green Bay in 2026, but Williams is still no better than fourth on the team's WR depth chart going into his second NFL season behind Reed, Golden, and Christian Watson. After being taken 87th overall in the third round last year from TCU, Williams caught all 10 of his targets for 78 yards and one touchdown while carrying the ball 11 times for 37 yards on the ground in 12 regular-season games for the Packers. Fantasy managers in single-year leagues will be ignoring Williams, but he could quickly become a waiver-wire priority if Green Bay deals with injuries to their starting receivers again.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) was running routes in full pads while catching passes from Jordan Love during Monday's practice, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports. Kraft continues to work his way back from a torn ACL injury that he suffered last season. The biggest takeaway here is that Kraft wasn't wearing a sleeve on his right knee that he has been wearing all training camp. Kraft is eyeing a Week 1 return, but he might not be fully ready yet, considering he tore his ACL in Week 9 of last season. He's unlikely to play during the preseason, but that shouldn't surprise fantasy managers. The Packers are hopeful he can return to his TE1 ways once he's back to full health.--Andy Webb

Green Bay Packers running back Chris Brooks (hamstring) returned to practice Sunday after missing the first week and a half of training camp. He opened camp on the non-football injury list after straining his hamstring during the summer break, an awkward absence with the backup job behind Josh Jacobs still unsettled. Brooks handled only 27 carries for 106 yards last season, adding 13 catches for 91 yards, but Green Bay values him for more than touches. At 6-foot-1 and 219 pounds, he has earned praise for his pass protection and special-teams work. The timing of his return matters because Jacobs has been out with a groin injury, while MarShawn Lloyd took most of the first-team reps in Jacobs' absence on August 6. Pierre Strong Jr. also mixed in. Brooks is healthy enough to rejoin the competition now, but he has catching up to do after missing the opening stretch of camp. RotoBaller ranks him 248th overall in half-PPR. For now, Brooks is more of an insurance-back watch than a late-round priority.--Bruno Mulé

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been a better real-life quarterback than fantasy starter over the past two seasons. He completed 66.3% of his passes for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns and six interceptions in 15 games last year, adding 199 rushing yards without a score. That left him QB21 on a per-game basis after a QB16 finish in 2024, well below the QB7 pace he posted in 2023. The supporting cast is in better shape now. Tucker Kraft is back on the field after last year's torn ACL, and Matthew Golden has been one of Green Bay's biggest playmakers in camp, including a 57-yard touchdown from Love on Family Night. Love still doesn't add enough rushing production to cover for quieter passing weeks, so another QB1 season will require more through the air. His current ADP is 128.0, while RotoBaller ranks him QB18. That's a reasonable spot to take him as a QB2 with upside rather than counting on a full return to his 2023 fantasy level.--Bruno Mulé

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (ankle) has picked up an ankle injury during camp, though head coach Matt LaFleur said Sunday that it is not considered a long-term concern, according to Matt Schneidman. Reed is coming off a frustrating 2025 season in which foot and shoulder injuries limited him to seven regular-season games. He finished with 19 catches for 207 yards and one touchdown after topping 790 receiving yards in each of his first two NFL seasons. Reed eventually worked his way back late last year and remains an important piece of Green Bay's passing game, making another stretch of missed practice time something the Packers would rather avoid. No timetable has been given for his return, so his participation over the coming days will be the next thing to watch.--Bruno Mulé

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden (toe) is dealing with an injury, but head coach Matt LaFleur said Sunday that it is not considered a long-term concern, according to Matt Schneidman. No timetable has been given for Golden's return. The second-year receiver is expected to take on more responsibility after catching 29 passes for 361 yards across 14 games as a rookie. He finished the year with his best performance, posting four catches for 84 yards and his first NFL touchdown in Green Bay's playoff loss to Chicago. Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks are both gone, opening more opportunities for Golden alongside Christian Watson and Jayden Reed. The toe issue is worth watching during camp, particularly with Golden preparing for a much larger role in the Packers' passing game.--Bruno Mulé

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) was back at practice Sunday as he continues ramping up from last year's torn ACL, according to Rob Demovsky. Kraft did not participate in Family Night, which was consistent with how Green Bay handled players who had not yet advanced to 11-on-11 work. The 25-year-old was activated from the PUP list on July 31 and has gradually increased his workload through individual drills and walkthrough periods. Kraft was in the middle of a breakout season before getting hurt, catching 32 passes for 489 yards and six touchdowns in eight games. He led the Packers in all three categories at the time of the injury. Getting Kraft back into regular team drills will be the next important step as Green Bay continues preparing him for the start of the regular season.--Bruno Mulé
