ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe/ North America

Best of 3

  • OG (-150) vs. GODSENT (+110)
  • Vitality (-275) vs. FaZe (+200)
  • Evil Geniuses (-500) Gen. G (+330)
  • BIG  (-135) vs. G2 (EVEN)

Captain Plays:

Zyw0o is always in play and with Vitality being a favorite, it is hard to not lock him into your captain spot on your lineup. hile his price tag is high, he can easily break the slate if he has one of his monster performances.

Over the last month, Zyw0o has played on 22 maps and has accrued a 1.32 K/D ratio while having a +115 K/D differential. He carries a very high kill per round rate of .81 while having a low death per round rate of .62 which is an ideal differential to have. Zyw0o has played FaZe on nine maps this year and has had a 1.18 K/D ratio which means that FaZe plays him tough but it is still hard to fade the best player in the world, especially in cash game lineups.

Brehze has been on fire over his last 15 maps played and he should not be ignored when looking for a player in your captain spot. He is carrying a 1.34 K/D ratio over the last month of games played and has a 50.2% headshot percentage.

Brehze is the main target when looking at Evil Geniuses and has done well against Gen. G this year. He has posted a 1.27 K/D ratio in 12 maps played against them while having a 1.16 match rating during that span as well. He is another player that carries a decently high salary but could pay off due to his recent form and the matchup itself.

Other captain plays:

Value Plays:

tarik looks to be one of the better value plays on the slate. Over the last 15 maps played, tarik has posted a 1.09 K/D ratio which is 12 points higher than his K/D average on the year. This tells us that he has improved throughout the season and his game is trending upwards.

tarik has registered a kill or assist on 75% of maps played over his last 15 maps played and has a .72 kill; per round rate. For the pricepoint that he generally is at, this seems to be a great time to roster him as he will be one of the better overall value plays on this slate.

ISSAA is priced down at $6,200 which is a great price point for your value play in your tournament lineups. ISSAA has scored 70+ DK points in two of his last four games played while also racking up a 1.04 K/D ratio over the last month of games played.

He seems to get overlooked at times in OG stacks but he does remain active when it comes to kills. He has a .67 kill per round rate while having a .64 death per round rate over his last 33 maps played. ISSAA also gets either a kill or an assist on 73% of rounds played which is very solid considering his price point.

Other value plays: tabseN, RpK, AleksiB

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

Evil Geniuses look like they are the best team to stack on this Saturday slate. They have jumped up to #2 in the world rankings and have rattled off five straight wins over their last five matches played. They own a career 14-4 record against Gen. G and have swept them in three straight matches. EG has been in incredible form as they have gone 13-2 over their last 15 maps played and carry a team K/D ratio of 1.14 during that stretch. Gen. G comes into this matchup in really poor form as they have gone 3-6 over their last month of maps played while only having a team K/D ratio of .95.

The majority of EG are in play on this slate. Brehze has been very dominant over the last month of games played and should be the first guy to consider in your EG stacks. He leads the squad in K/D ratio and K/D differential and is a high-upside play on this slate. Ethan and CeRq are both showing good form as well as they post above 1.15 K/D ratios over the last month of games played while tarik provides some good salary relief as he has had a 1.08 K/D ratio during his last 15 maps played.

Vitality is another large favorite on this slate that seems to be in a good spot to stack. They come in ranked as the #1 team in the world despite dropping three of their last five games played. The good news for Vitality is that FaZe comes into this matchup in even worse form as they have gotten swept in their last four matches played. Looking at their most recent head-to-head matches, Vitality has managed to sweep FaZe 2-0 in two of their last three games played so the head-to-head edge certainly goes to Vitality. In addition, they have a much better winning percentage on six of the seven playable maps giving them the oh-so-important map advantage as well.

Any Vitality stack starts with Zyw0o. He is the best player in the game and is a 100% lock-in every Vitality stack that is made. Outside of him, the next best player to consider is shox. He carries the second-highest K/D ratio on the squad over the last month and is one that is pretty reliable on this team. If you're needing a value play from Vitality, one to look at is RpK. While he is more volatile than shox, he does check have the third-highest K/D ratio on the Vitality squad over the last 22 maps played and has the ability to have a solid K/D differential.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams:  BIG, OG
