Perfect World Asia League

Best of 3

  • ViCi vs. Beyond
  • D13 vs. Invictus
  • Lucid Dream vs. Mazaalai

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations

Kaze has been playing very well over the last 27 maps played. He has a 1.27 K/D ratio and has a great K/D differential of +116 over that timespan. One thing that makes him stand out is that his kill per round rate is at .76 while his death per round rate is at a .59 which tells us that he provides a great floor with upside.

In addition, he is underpriced on this slate as he is the third-highest priced ViCi player at $8,200. He is averaging 66.9 DK points per game and has eight of his nine games go for 50+ DK points.

Flying is priced at $8,600 which is the cheapest price point we have seen him at so far. He is averaging 72.5 DK points per game (three-game sample size) but all three games that have been scored by DK have been above 50+ DK points.

Over the last month, flying has played on 42 maps and has produced a 1.19 K/D ratio while having a +155 K/D differential. The next closest on his team only has a +25 K/D differential which tells you how dominant flying has actually been. With his reduced price and the fact that he has a 1.57 K/D ratio against D13, he is a viable captain pick for cash games and tournaments.

Other captain plays: PTC, xiaosaGe, JamYoung

CS:GO DFS Value Plays

sk0R really took a drop in his salary as he was just priced at $8,400 yesterday and is now down to $6,600 on this slate. While he hasn’t shown tremendous upside in any of his recent games, the price point really makes him attractive based on his recent overall play.

Over the last month, sk0R has played on 17 maps and has produced a 1.14 K/D ratio while having a +46 K/D differential. While this will be a tougher challenge against Invictus, he has produced a 1.16 K/D ratio against them on three maps played so far in 2020.

JohnOlsen is another player that is priced down when his actual statistical numbers suggest he should be higher priced. He ranks second overall in K/D ratio on Lucid Dream with a 1.02 K/D ratio over the last 24 maps played and has a +10 K/D differential which is also second-best on his squad.

When looking back at his recent games, he has been pretty volatile as he has gone for 70+ DK points in two of his last three games but carries a 49.3 DK average. He is third on his squad from a salary pricing standpoint which makes the idea of rostering him even more attractive but just note that he can have dud games from time to time. He is more of a tournament value play than a cash game play.

Other value plays: Olivia, Viva, DeStRoYeR, zhokiNg

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks

ViCi could be an interesting stack to roll out due to their history against Beyond. They have played them three times over the last two months and have gone 6-0 against them. In their career against Beyond, they are 8-0 and have beaten them on five of the seven playable maps. From a recent form standpoint, they are tied with a 1.04 team K/D ratio over the last month of maps played with Beyond having a slight edge going 16-10 over their last 26 maps played while ViCi has gone 15-12 over their last 27 maps played.

From an individual player standpoint, Kaze and JamYoung are the two ViCi guys to start with. They both have K/D ratios above 1.20 over the last 27 maps played and are moderately priced below 9k. AumaN is more of a tournament play since his price point is at $8,400 but has a lower K/D ratio than Kaze and JamYoung which means he could see lower ownership. If looking for a cheaper option, zhokiNg has shown really solid form lately as he has gone for 50+ DK points in four out of his last five games played.

Invictus is another squad that could be worth considering when trying to stack a team on this slate. They come into this matchup as winners of four of their last five matches played and have gone 28-14 over their last 42 maps played while carrying a team K/D ratio of 1.03. D13 on the other hand has only gone 9-8 over their last 17 games played and has a .99 team K/D ratio so the recent form edge goes to Invictus.

Flying soars above his teammates when it comes to K/D ratios on this squad. He leads the group in that category while also leading them in K/D differential so he should automatically be placed in your stacks. Viva and xiaosaGe are great stacking pieces and could draw lower ownership due to their prices being in the mid 7k range. DeStRoYeR could make a great value piece due to him being at $6,400 and averaging 61.7 DK points per game.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Lucid Dream
