New Jersey Devils center Nico Hischier (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Monday's clash against the Philadelphia Flyers. He was injured on Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens and is forced to skip his first contest of the season. Hischier has had a fine campaign with a team-high 24 goals and 43 points through 51 appearances. New Jersey will replace Hischier with Dawson Mercer as the second-line center on Monday. A top-six role boosts Mercer's fantasy value, although he has struggled to produce consistent offense throughout the season and has only added to his points total in two of his last 13 appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
