Updated MLB Prospects Rankings - Top 25 Fantasy Baseball Prospects (Week 11)

Jonathan Aranda - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Prospects

Updated Top 25 fantasy baseball prospects rankings for Week 11. MLB prospects, rookies, and call-ups to make fantasy baseball impacts in 2022 redraft leagues.

Welcome back RotoBallers to our weekly fantasy baseball prospect rankings.  Riley Greene, C.J. Abrams, Oneil Cruz, Jarren Duran, Jeter Downs, Kyle Stowers, Josh Lowe, and Caleb Kilian were all called up this week in a very exciting week for those who follow the minor leagues closely. These players will not be included in the rankings. This creates quite a shakeup in the rankings this week as most of last week's Top 5 is no longer on the list.

Additionally, players who are playing in the minors but graduated from prospect status will also not be in the rankings.

For those who are not familiar, below you will find our updated list of the top-25 fantasy baseball prospects rankings to make an impact for the 2022 fantasy baseball season, which RotoBaller will be updating weekly. You’ll find quite a few well-known prospects on the list — as well as some lesser-known players that could nonetheless provide key contributions to your fantasy league teams this season. As always, this weekly list is updated to reflect rest-of-season fantasy baseball values, and near-term impacts that these MLB prospects can make.

Fantasy Baseball Prospect Rankings #1-5

Vinnie Pasquantino might be in a Bobby Witt Jr. situation from last year where he just stays down. Carlos Santana has not struck out in nine straight games and he is drawing more walks. At the same time, how can I move him down? With all of the moves this past week, things are looking more muddled with rankings in general, but Pasquantino is raking in Triple-A.

Everyone in this tier one can argue is deserving of playing in the Major Leagues. It all comes down to whether their big league club will give them the chance or not. Jonathan Aranda and Ethan Small have the best chances as Miguel Vargas and Alec Burleson are buried.

Burleson is batting .328 with a .367 OBP, .236 ISO, and 14 home runs in Triple-A. It would be sweet to see him up in the big leagues to see how he could do.

Fantasy Baseball Prospect Rankings #6-10

Gabriel Arias is starting to play again, having played two games at Rookie Ball. He is someone that I was excited to see this season. Here's hoping we see him with the Guardians come July.

Esteury Ruiz makes his debut on the list. Recently promoted to Triple-A, he is straight-up raking. In 11 games, he has four home runs, 11 steals, and a .311 ISO. He is batting .422 with a .527 OBP.  The issue is where does he play? Jurickson Profar, Trent Grisham, and Nomar Mazara are all playing fine. C.J. Abrams is capable of playing some outfield as well. Wil Myers and Fernando Tatis J.R. at some point could come back too. Add to the mix that Ruiz is not on the 40-man roster and I am not certain if we see him or not this year.

Triston Casas is still sidelined with an injury. He hasn't been ruled out for being promoted at some point this season with what started as a "minor injury" is looking to keep him out for over a month has me concerned.

Fantasy Baseball Prospect Rankings #11-25

To me this is just a massive tier that even the honorable mentions below should be included in. I do not have a great sense of when these players will be promoted. They could very well not be unless there are some injuries, or when rosters expand.

Max Meyer has started to pitch again. He pitched three innings in Single-A on Friday, June 17th. He had four strikeouts and one earned run.

David Villar is new to the list. He is having a nice season with a .277 average, .392 OBP, 18 home runs, and a .351 ISO. He does have a strikeout rate of 29.1% and San Francisco has a logjam.

Hunter Brown is also new. He has a 3.63 xFIP and a 34.5% strikeout rate. His walk rate is 12.5%, so that is something he will need to improve on to pitch for the Astros.

Gunnar Henderson rounds out the list. He is batting .300 with a .481 OBP in Triple-A in just 12 games. He also has two home runs and one steal. He is just 20 years old and they could just let him play at Triple-A for the rest of this season with the opportunity to make the big league club in 2023.

Honorable Mentions: Matt Brash, SP; Korey Lee, C;  Pedro Leon, SS/OF; Cade Cavalli, SP; Oswald Peraza, SS; Ken Waldichuk SP
