Philadelphia Phillies infield prospect
Otto Kemp has continued to hit very well at Triple-A and is making a strong case for an early-season MLB promotion. Through his first 35 games of the Triple-A regular season, Kemp has posted an impressive .331/.423/.662 slash line with 14 doubles, one triple, and 10 long balls. He is the only player with at least 25 extra-base hits at any level of the minor leagues. Kemp has also swiped five bags but held a modest 44:15 K:BB. During his first taste of Triple-A action last summer, the No. 24-ranked prospect in the system held an underwhelming .200/.333/.244 slash line with just two doubles across 13 games. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on his production at Lehigh Valley, as he could push for an earlier-than-expected MLB debut. Given his power upside, he would be worth adding in standard leagues when he gets the call.

Philadelphia Phillies catching prospect
Eduardo Tait is beginning to heat up at Low-A. On Thursday, the No. 4-ranked prospect in the system went 3-for-5 with a triple and an RBI. Over his last nine contests, the 18-year-old backstop has held an impressive .308/.317/.590 slash line with three doubles, one triple, and two long balls. During this stretch, Tait has tallied eight RBI and held a 10:1 K:BB. Through the first 24 games of the Low-A regular season, the No. 90-ranked prospect in the sport on MLB.com held a solid .265/.315/.531 slash line. Given his current production, fantasy managers should expect Tait to be in contention to reach High-A in the coming weeks. While he remains several seasons away from his MLB debut, he could develop into one of the top catching prospects in the sport.

Tampa Bay Rays third baseman
Junior Caminero went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk, and two RBI in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. The home run was Caminero's seventh home run of the season, and it came in the first inning off Phillies left-hander
Jesus Luzardo, who has been excellent so far in 2025. It has been an odd season for Caminero, as he slashes .298/.327/.564 at home, but .122/.159/.171 on the road. Perhaps it's just something fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on, as the Rays' interim home field in 2025, George M. Steinbrenner Field, has been a hitter-friendly environment thus far in 2025. Nonetheless, Caminero is slashing .244/.276/.444 on the season, and has flashed signs of his excellence; now he needs to put it together more consistently weekly. Next up for the Rays and Caminero is a three-game home series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday.

Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander
Brandon Pfaadt (6-2) was solid Thursday evening against a red-hot Los Angeles Dodgers offense. Through 6 ⅓ innings, he only allowed four hits, three walks, and struck out six batters. It was an excellent rebound for Pfaadt, who was tagged for six earned runs in his previous start against the Philadelphia Phillies. This outing lowered his season ERA to 3.28. The three walks were unusual for Pfaadt, as so far in 2025, he ranks in the 85th percentile in walks allowed (5.1 percent), so look for him to clean that up in his next outing, which is tentatively lined up in San Francisco next Tuesday to take on the another division opponent, the Giants. This will be another tough outing for Pfaadt, as the Giants are solid against right-handed pitchers (.243/.326/.396) and rank ninth in the MLB in runs scored. Still, Pfaadt has earned the opportunity to be matchup-proof for his fantasy managers in 2025.

Arizona Diamondbacks catcher
Gabriel Moreno hit his first home run of the 2025 season, and it came at a good time. He took
Yoshinobu Yamamoto deep in the fourth inning to open up the scoring and give the Diamondbacks a 4-0 lead. The Diamondbacks would hold on to win 5-3 against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first game of their four-game series. In addition to the home run, Moreno hit two singles and finished his evening going 3-for-4. The productive evening raised Moreno's slash line to .253/.333/.319. Moreno has now hit 14 career home runs in 906 plate appearances, so fantasy managers should continue to lean on Moreno being a catcher who hits for average and not for a lot of power, which is evident by his .319 slugging in 2025. Nonetheless, with his low strikeout rate (16.9 percent in his career) and solid career average (.277), Moreno remains a decent option for fantasy managers in deeper leagues.

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder
Daulton Varsho enjoyed a nice evening on Thursday, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run scored, and one home run. The home run was a solo shot in the eighth inning, which extended the Blue Jays' lead to 8-5, as they ended up holding on to avoid the three-game sweep against the Los Angeles Angels. The home run was Varscho's third of the season, as he raised his slashing line to .273/.346/.727. Varsho was activated off the injured list on April 29, and over the past seven games since being activated, he has been hitting for power and providing the Blue Jays with the offensive spark they need. Look for Varsho to keep it going as the Blue Jays travel to Seattle for a three-game series against the Mariners that starts on Friday.

Tyler Locklear has begun to heat up at the plate at Triple-A. On Thursday, Locklear snapped his 15-game power drought. Over his last four games, Locklear has tallied at least one hit in each game and has added one double and a long ball. Prior to this recent surge, Locklear held a .091 AVG over his previous six games. Through the first 33 games of the Triple-A regular season, Locklear has posted a strong .297/.371/.461 slash line with 12 doubles and three home runs. Last summer, the No. 11-ranked prospect in the Seattle system made his MLB debut but appeared in just 16 games during this brief stint. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his production as he could be in the mix for a longer stint during his next appearance in the big leagues.

Atlanta Braves right-handed pitching prospect
Ian Mejia extended his scoreless streak on Thursday with another impressive outing. In this start, Mejia logged seven shutout frames against Double-A Birmingham. He allowed six hits and no walks. He struck out seven. Since allowing four runs over his first six innings of work this season, Mejia has gone on to log 23 2/3 straight scoreless innings. During this stretch, the 25-year-old has held a strong 1.06 WHIP with a 19:8 K:BB. Last summer, the New Mexico State product spent most of his time with Double-A, where he logged a modest 3.47 ERA with a 1.32 WHIP across 124 1/3 innings of work. Given his improving results at Double-A, fantasy managers should expect No. 24-ranked prospect in Atlanta to move up to Triple-A in the coming weeks.

Houston Astros right-handed pitching prospect
Miguel Ullola struck out 10 batters during Thursday's start against Triple-A Salt Lake. In this outing, Ullola allowed just one hit and one walk. He did not allow a run. Since allowing 10 runs over his first 10 innings of the Triple-A campaign, Ullola has flipped the script. Over his last two starts (10 innings), the No. 6-ranked prospect in the Houston system struck out 15 batters and has allowed just two hits, three walks, and no runs. Last summer, the 22-year-old spent most of his time with Double-A, where he logged 127 1/3 innings of work to the tune of a 4.24 ERA with a 1.14 WHIP. Given his steady improvements, Ullola should be in the mix to join Houston later this season.

New York Mets infield prospect
A.J. Ewing is continuing to showcase his speed upside at High-A. Through his first eight games at the level, Ewing has stolen seven bags and held a .294/.351/.382 slash line. Ewing has tallied two doubles and held an 8:3 K:BB. Ewing opened the campaign with Low-A St. Lucie, where he swiped 14 bags in just 18 contests. During this stretch, the No. 28-ranked prospect in the system held a .400/.506/.615 slash line with three doubles, four triples, and a long ball. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the 20-year-old's progression, as he appears to be moving through the minor leagues fairly quickly. If he continues to hit for a high average and showcase his ability on the basepaths, he could reach Double-A in the coming months.

Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Eduardo Quintero went 3-for-5 with two long balls during their contest against Low-A Visalia. This performance extended Quintero's hitting streak to an impressive eight games. During this stretch, the No. 9-ranked prospect in the system has posted an elite .382/.462/.853 slash line with two doubles, one triple, four home runs, and two stolen bases. Through his first 24 games of the Low-A regular season, Quintero has been very productive, posting a .295/.398/.568 slash line with four doubles and six long balls. This is a strong improvement compared to the .196/.333/.283 line he held across his first 27 games of Low-A ball during the 2024 campaign. Given his improvements, Quintero will likely earn the call to High-A in the coming weeks.

New York Yankees right-handed pitching prospect Ben Hess struck out nine batters across 6 2/3 innings of one-run ball on Thursday against High-A Wilmington. In this outing, Hess' lone run was unearned. He also allowed just one hit and one walk. This was the third time this season Hess struck out nine batters in a single start. The Yankees selected Hess out of Alabama with the 26th pick in last year's MLB draft. The right-hander has spent the first month of his debut campaign at the High-A level. Through his first 25 innings of work, Hess has held a 3.24 ERA with a stellar 0.96 WHIP. He has struck out 39 batters and served up just 12 walks. Given his steady progress, he should be in the mix to reach Double-A in the coming months.

Cleveland Guardians infield prospect
Travis Bazzana went 3-for-5 with a double and three runs scored on Thursday for Double-A Akron, and is currently riding a six-game hit streak that has boosted his batting average to a respectable .257. Last year's first-overall draft pick has three home runs, 16 RBI, 25 runs scored, and six stolen bases for Akron, who should see Triple-A before the season is out. MLB.com projects a 2025 debut for the 6-foot slugger, but he'll surely need to keep hitting for that to come to fruition. The Australian is seen as a hitter with decent power and good speed, so he has the makings of a solid fantasy asset in the future, but he is not a stash candidate at this time.

Philadelphia Phillies second baseman
Bryson Stott went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in his team's 7-6 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Stott scored twice, doubled, and added a sacrifice hit (bunt) that would eventually push across the game-winning run in the top of the tenth inning. The UNLV product was clutch late in the game for the Phillies, blasting a three-run bomb in the top of the eighth to bring the team within one run. It was his third of the season, and only hard-hit ball of the contest. Though he did register two others at 93.7 and 94.2 MPH. Thursday marks back-to-back multi-hit efforts for the 27-year-old, but it's worth noting that he's out-performing his .249 xBA (.277). He's done that before -- as recently as 2023 when he hit .280 -- but his batted ball metrics are worse off this season. He's striking out more, too (20.7%).
