Khalil Shakir fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Khalil Shakir for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/Flex
ANALYSIS:
Khalil Shakir should be viewed as a low-end WR3 or flex play this week in fantasy football as the Bills take on the Dolphins for Thursday night football. Shakir’s Week 1 performance, where he recorded three catches for 42 yards and a touchdown, shows his ability to contribute in a potent Bills offense.
With Keon Coleman and Curtis Samuel both being a huge part of the offense, Shakir still found a way to make an impact, especially in red-zone situations. Many forget, but Shakir was the only returning wide receiver from last years roster.

His chemistry with Josh Allen and his knack for making key plays make him a valuable flex option against a Dolphins defense that struggled to contain receivers in Week 1. The matchup against Miami presents an opportunity for Shakir to build on his solid Week 1 performance.
Given the likelihood of a high-scoring game, Shakir could see more targets as the Bills aim to exploit the Dolphins’ defensive weaknesses.
While Coleman and Samuel will command most of the attention, Shakir’s ability to create big plays with limited touches makes him an intriguing low-end WR3 or flex option, especially for managers in deeper leagues looking for a player with touchdown potential.
