Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (12/15/21) - DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy

Koby Hansons' DraftKings and FanDuel. DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 12/15/21. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. Well, today did not go as planned... NaVi losing for the first time on LAN this year to Liquid of all teams is absolutely insane and nearly unpredictable. S1mple had probably one of his worst performances in the last 6ish months as well. Gambit handled Heroic as expected and was pretty much what wins the tournaments. But we move on and we are going to get it back tomorrow as G2 gets their rematch against NiP who is still without device, but this time kennys is out and nexa is back with some much-needed support. In the other game, we have ZywOo and company taking on Astralis who has been playing very well. This will be the third match played by these teams since the Astralis roster change. Then lastly we have NaVi and Heroic taking each other on in the first round of the losers bracket.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, at 10:30, am

Blast Premier World Final

Best of 3

  • G2 (-300) vs. NiP (+220)
  • Astralis (+145) vs. Vitality (-190)
  • NaVi vs. Heroic

Captain Plays

NiKo: I know what you are saying, "He just had these two captains last week". I know, but these are clearly the best plays on the slate. G2 is going to come in ticked off they blew it against NiP and come in and make sure they finish the job this time. This time around they have nexa instead of KennyS which I believe is a big upgrade especially with how poorly kennys played in their last matchup. NiKo might have lost but he still had 80 kills with a +15 K/D differential and was still one of the highest-scoring players on the slate. NiKo holds a 1.31 K/D with a .84 KPR and a .64 DPR.

ZywOo: ZywOo is an absolute monster at this game, and I just want to give a few stats for his last two games against Astralis recently. He has averaged 81 kills with an average K/D differential of +34. Yes, it is only 2 games but still, those are insane stats to even keep up with. On LAN, he averages a 1.42 K/D with a .85 KPR and a .60 DPR across 52 maps. This is going to be a close game, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it go to OT at least one map and more than likely we should see 3 maps. If there is anyone you should be playing from this game it's ZywOo and he is on a heater right now.

Other captain plays in order of preference: hunter, K0nfig, BlameF, REZ(GPP), Shox

Value Plays

Nexa: I absolutely love Nexa as a value play on FD tomorrow. He’s been great on LAN this year and was a huge part of G2 making the finals against NaVi. He holds a 1.12 K/D on LAN with a .67 KPR and a .60 DPR. He is very cheap on FD and at a doable price on DK, but I would recommend going to AmaneK on DK as a cheaper pivot.

BlameF: Blame has been solid since joining Astralis, he holds a 1.17 K/D with a .74 KPR and a .63 DPR. Which is very respectable for his price on DK at 7k and is a mid-range play on FD as well. I would say he is more of a GPP play but I could see this match going 3 maps which can mean very high scoring. In the two matches played against Vitality he did pretty well too. This is a big game that BlameF could step up in and is in a great spot to win some GPP’s.

Other value plays in order of preference: AmaneK, gla1ve(GPP), misutaaa, Perfecto

Top Stacks / Team Picks

G2: I'm going back to G2, with nexa rejoining the team. I think this elevates them a lot. Nexa was on fire in the last tournament he was playing very well and was a big part of their success up until the Grand Finals against NaVi. With nexa, they have a solid 4 and then Jackz. Who like I said is a forever fade for me and so far it has continued to work out. NiKo and Hunter both have the great ability to be top fraggers and can take the game into their hands. AmaneK has shown to be a decent enough AWPer to get them by. And then nexa who has shown up and helped this team tremendously. I think there is a lot of revenge narrative into this one, something I'm not usually focused on. But I do think they want to get this win after such a devastating loss before. On the other side of things, device is still out and I still believe that is a big hit to NiP. Hopefully, G2 doesn't let me down twice in a row.

Predictions

Vitality 2-1
G2 2-0
NaVi 2-0
