Koby Hansons' DraftKings and FanDuel. DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 12/14/21. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. Welcome to the Blast Premier World Finals! We have 8 teams looking for their final tournament win of the year! In today's set of games, we have NaVi taking on Team Liquid up first. Then later we have Gambit taking on Heroic who is without stavn for this tournament due to personal reasons. B0rup will be filling in for him for the whole tournament.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Tuesday, December 14th, 2021, at 010:30, am

Blast Premier World Final

Best of 3

  • NaVi (-1200) vs. Liquid (+600)
  • Gambit (-260) vs. Heroic (+190)

Captain Plays

S1mple: The GOAT? I say so, he averages a 1.57 K/D over the last month of play with an insane .93 KPR and a low .59 DPR. In just over two months he only has one negative map. He is also averaging 23.2 kills per map, he is going to come and crush the last tournament of the year and finish with a bang. He will be insanely chalky, but it is such a risk to fade s1mple that if you don't have him and he eats as he has been, you will not be cashing. So go ahead and just lock him in your lineups and make everything else work around him.

Sh1ro/Ax1le: This is definitely based on which site you choose to play on. Sh1ro is a fantastic play on Fanduel at his price, whereas we get a nice discount on Ax1le from sh1ro on DraftKings. I think a lot of people will target sh1ro at the captain, so going Ax1le can give decent leverage. Ax1le over the last month holds a 1.20 K/D with a .76 KPR and a .64 DPR. I find they he gets into fights more, which can lead to a higher KPR but he will end up with more deaths compared to Sh1ro who is the AWPer who holds a 1.46 K/D with a .82 KPR and a very low .56 DPR. Either of these guys is a very good option and should be heavily considered in your lineups.

Other captain plays in order of preference: Electronic, B1t, Refrezh (GPP), Hobbit

Value Plays

Boombl4: I don't think I have ever put Boombl4 in my articles before but he is playing decently well over the last month. He finished the last tournament with a 1.05 K/D and averaged .64 KPR and a .61 DPR. It's a small sample size but he has played much better on LAN this year compared to his online play. He is the cheapest player on DK and is still very cheap on FD as well. He is definitely an option on a slate that is going to be top-heavy and more than likely will end up with a double sweep.

TeSeS: I think TeSeS has to look to become a big role in this offense tomorrow if they want any chance of winning this match let alone a map. And if you need a cheap player and/or a one-off for those of us that are on FD. TeSeS could be a player that could top frag and score decently well. It is definitely risky but with how top-heavy the slate is we might need a cheap one-off and even though Heroic is without stavn, I think this match stays closer than Liquid/NaVi. Refrezh is also a cheap option that could be relied on heavily in this matchup as well. Like I said risky but with stavn stepping away someone else has to step up, and I think TeSeS could be that guy.

Other value plays in order of preference: Nafany, interz, Perfecto, Stewie2k(GPP/One-Off), Grim(PUNT)

Top Stacks / Team Picks

NaVi: I'm expecting both of these games to end up in a sweep. Unfortunately with stavn not being in play for Heroic, I think it severely hurts their chance to win against Gambit. So I think getting as many of NaVi and Gambit might be necessary. NaVi is currently is the best team in the world and I don't see Liquid being the one to upset them. NaVi has won 10 straight games and 2 of them were best of one, 6 by sweep, and the other two in 3 maps. S1mple is a lock and definitely a risky fade as he is playing insanely well right now and his ability to get lots of kills without dying makes him such a good play. Electronic and B1T are definitely great pairs with s1mple. On Fanduel I love Electronic, and on DraftKings, I like B1T due to pricing. Perfecto and BoomBl4 are definitely the riskiest of the five but at least one of them is bound to play decently well if not both of them. Perfecto on Fanduel is the cheapest player on the slate which makes him great value. Perfecto is a little pricey on DK, so going to Boombl4 is definitely an option.

Predictions

NaVi 2-0
Gambit 2-0
