Pinnacle Fall Series

Best of 3

  • Copenhagen Flames (-200) vs. Blink (+150)
  • Extra Salt (+145) vs. Mouz NXT (-190)

Captain Plays

torzi: This is going to be a battle of the AWPers because both Torzi and oSee are some of the best in the world currently. That being said though, MOUZ NXT has been on a tear throughout their games winning 17 of their last 19 matches. Over the last three months, Torzi has averaged a 1.49 K/D with an insane .82 KPR and a very low .55 DPR. He hasn't finished negative in over 2 months of play, if there is anyone you should be rostering in your lineups it's torzi.

rigon: Normally I would have thought coming into this slate, take Copenhagen. But they have just looked god awful recently dropping 5 of their last 7 games and against teams, they should be demolishing such as TTC and Savage. Blink, on the other hand, has been playing well getting a 4 game win streak going, I think there is a good chance we see a Blink upset tomorrow and rigon has been a big part of their success. He has consistently been one of the top players on their team and is usually the top fragger. He has been in 3 of those 4 games during their streak. He has been +18, +3, +7, and +14 K/D differential-wise during that time period. He's a cheap pivot to how pricy Torzi is.

Other captain plays in order of preference: oSee (GPP), roej, xertion

Value Plays

juanflatroo: Juan is too cheap in this matchup, I see this one being very close and if Blink can pull it out, I see Juan being one of the top three fraggers on the team. He has been one of the more consistent on his team as he has a positive K/D in 5 of his last 6 games. He is also averaging a 1.06 K/D with a .76 KPR and a .71 DPR over the last three months of play. Blink is riding some momentum winning 4 straight and is catching Copenhagen at a good time if they are able to take advantage of it, then Juan will pay off his cheap price.

Zyphon: Definitely more of a risky play, but if you are still in the hopes of Copenhagen waking up from their slumber then Zyphon is a solid value. He's been playing well in his last two games going +7 and +13. He definitely isn't someone I would rely on but with how pricey Copenhagen is on this slate, finding a good stacking option for Copenhagen like Zyphon might be necessary. Over the last three months, he has averaged a 1.00 K/D with a .67 KPR and .67 DPR. 6,600$ is a good price and if Copenhagen does decide to wake up then Zyphon could be in for a nice scoring line.

Other value plays in order of preference: sinnopsyy, JDC, floppy (GPP), Fang(GPP)

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Mouz NXT: Mouz is the best academy team out there right now, and honestly they have shown to be a Top 25 team in the world as well. They are playing out of their minds, winning 17 of their last 19 games, and are currently on a 7 game win streak. As much as I like Extra Salt and love seeing an NA team thrive, this is going to be a tough task for them. Every single player on this team has a rating of 1.11 or better and between the two games, I see this one having the higher chance of sweeping.

Torzi is a lock in my opinion and is a must roster. siuhy and xertion have been both a great secondary option as well. No one on this team is going consistently negative and all really pull their weight on this team. Szejn and JDC tend to be the lesser of the 5 but also have top fragging ability on some occasions. On the other side of things, oSee is one of the best players in the NA region right now and should be a highly considered run-back when making your lineups.

Other team picks: Blink (GPP), Copenhagen Flames

Predictions

2-1 Blink
2-1 MOUZ NXT
