REPUBLEAGUE SEASON 2

Best of 3

  • Enterprise (-185) vs. Eclot (+140)
  • LDLC (-113) vs. K23 (-115)

Captain Plays

forsyy: This is probably the clear play from Enterprise, but 10k is a lot, and he has shown to be worth top dollar. He has been the top fragger in his last 7 matches on the team, whether win or lose. In all three matches against ECLOT, he has gone for +8, +26, +3. As well as that, over the last three months, he has had a 1.22 K/D with a .76 KPR and a .63 DPR. forsyy has had a positive K/D in 12 of his last 13 matches, he is one of the top players on this slate, and whether you put him at captain or not, he should definitely be in your lineups.

xsepower: K23 is starting to work things out, they struggled at first since their roster change. xsepower has been a great addition to the team as he helped lead the team over a good Spirit team. Which was a big win for this K23 team. This matchup is dead even in the odds, so finding a player that can capitalize over three maps is crucial because I think that's what it goes to. And for K23 that is xsepower. I have seen xsepower do big things while he was playing with bankapepsi and him joining K23 is a great move for him. He looks to be finally clicking into gear and if K23 wins this match, I expect him to be one of the top fraggers. He has a 1.10 K/D with a .69 KPR and a .63 DPR over the last three months.

Other captain plays in order of preference: hadji, Matys, norb3r7, Maka, capsen(GPP)

Value Plays

Manguss: Manguss has been sneaky good against ECLOT specifically. He has gone for a positive K/D differential in all three matches with +10, +14, and +16. He is also super cheap at 6,200$ which is great value on a team that should come out of this game with a win if not the sweep. It's quite odd as manguss hasn't been the greatest when it comes to other teams he plays against, but against ECLOT he has been quite consistent and that's something I like a lot. He has a K/D of 1.01 and a KPR of .65 with a .64 DPR over the last three months.

Sixer/Keoz: If you are going for an LDLC stack, or need a cheap one-off from this game. One of these guys is probably your best cheap option. Lambert is cheap too but he is awful is almost always a bottom fragger. SIXER and Keoz have shown that they can play well though and is a great run back from a 2 player stack from K23. I like Sixer's price quite a bit more and seems to fit better with getting some of the top players on the board. For Sixer over the last three months, he holds a 1.03 K/D with a .65 KPR and a .63 DPR. At 5,600$ he is worth a shot on especially in an LDLC stack. But like I said, Sixer would be the player I would prioritize over Keoz.

Other value plays in order of preference: fame, X5G7V, MATYS

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Enterprise: The safest stack going into tomorrow's slate of games, has to be Enterprise. The other game is very close and could go either way, as for this game Enterprise has won all three matches against this team in the last month and has won 6 of the 8 maps played against ECLOT. Enterprise also plays much better teams than ECLOT tends to play. ECLOT has kept all the maps closed but has failed to win a match against them. Which could mean quite a few kills from the top fraggers.

As for players, forsyy is definitely the lock on this team. The eLiVe hasn't been the greatest and I think his price is a little much for me but isn't a horrible option for your stacks. MATYS has flashed a bit of upside and I think is a viable option at his price of 7,600$. manguss has been fantastic against ECLOT in the past, and I think Enterprise comes out with a win and at 6,200$ is a fantastic option. I would fade ADEJIS though as even in wins, he consistently goes negative, so he would be my fade from the team. I do want to mention though as a runback if that is your style, capsen is a fantastic option from ECLOT and has been very good for his team.

Other stacking options: K23, LDLC
