Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (10/15/21) - DraftKings Daily Fantasy

Koby Hansons' DraftKings. DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 10/15/21. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. Well, Movistar definitely disappointed me. They blew it in the first map and then got destroyed on map 2. Virtus Pro looked really good and I didn't have enough of them. Liquid took care of 9z with ease as expected and moved on to the next round. Tomorrow we have Heroic taking on Dignitas, MADLions gets EG after it being delayed, and lastly we have Complexity taking on OG.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Friday, October 15th, 2021, at 6:30, am

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown

Best of 3

  • Heroic (-300) vs. Dignitas (+215)
  • Complexity (+125) vs. OG (-165)
  • MAD Lions (-115) vs. Evil Geniuses (-120)

Captain Plays

cadian: I think we are getting a great price on cadian here. Cadian has been great for online tournaments and has a 1.15 K/D over the last three months. In the opener of this tournament, he went for +20 on 50 kills. I've seen multiple times where cadian can pop off and just have a field day on some teams. Him being at 7,400$ too is an incredible price to get a captain at, because it leaves you more salary to work with to get the rest of your lineup looking strong.

Woro2k: (What I said here before this game was PPD still stands, Love Woro2k in this spot) I absolutely love this play. We are getting an elite player in what should be a close matchup at a fantastic price of 8,600$. I wouldn't say MAD Lions is a top-tier team by any means but they are facing a team that is about on their level. EG has been very poor and struggled in their NA matchups, they have really fallen off the wagon. Woro struggled against the likes of Dignitas or Vitality but showed out against Ence and OG. MADLions has shown they can beat some top teams and I think they come out on top of this matchup with Woro2k leading the charge. His K/D over the last three months is 1.31 with an insane .82 KPR and a low .62 DPR.

Other captain plays in order of preference: blameF, Stavn, mantuu, forest(GPP), jks

Value Plays

TeSeS: Oh how the mighty have fallen. It's honestly very weird to see TeSeS so cheap, and I think at his price of 5,400$. The risk to take on him isn't very high. Heroic should come out of this game with a win and we are getting a player that I know can pop off and pay off what is such a cheap salary. I'm hoping for a bounceback game here, and maybe we see Heroic get the sweep as well. TeSeS has a 1.04 K/D over the last three months with a .68 KPR and a .66 DPR.

Aleksib: Well last game I said Aleksib was in a weird spot and I would rather not play him, well he proved me wrong and ended up being the top fragger for OG in their 2-0 win over paiN gaming in the opening round of the tournament. This match against Complexity should be a much closer matchup but if Aleksib can continue this level of play he is at a great price of 6,400$. If we can get 50+ out of him then I think we can call this value play a success. In their last matchup, he went for 37 kills with a +3 K/D differential, if we can get something similar that would be fantastic.

Other value plays in order of preference: jks, sausol, HEAP(GPP), MICHU (PUNT)

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Heroic: Now that we are getting Heroic back online instead of LAN, I trust them a lot more in this situation. Dignitas is a good team, and I would not put it past them to steal a map but I do think Heroic is the better team. Dignitas also has a couple of recent losses that have me thinking they could struggle against a team like Heroic. They are a very well-rounded team and with refrezh stepping up as he has recently, that could impact Heroic a lot.

For the players, TeSeS has been struggling recently, but 5,400$ is disrespectful. He has been a top player for this team a lot in the past and to see him that cheap is insane. I definitely recommend grabbing TeSeS for a value play in Heroic stacks and therefore I would avoid Sjuush. Cadian is one of my favorite plays from Heroic and I also really like stavn and refrezh. Refrezh though has quite the steep price and for right now I would look to stavn before going to him. Heroic should be able to win this one, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a sweep either if the map picks can go their way.

Other stacking options: MadLions, OG, Complexity
