Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups - Top Fantasy Football WR Adds for Week 14 Include Adam Thielen, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Marquise Brown

nick westbrook-ikhine fantasy football rankings NFL DFS lineup picks

Justin Carter's fantasy football WR waiver wire pickups for Week 14 of the 2024 NFL season. His free agent wide receivers to add, stream, and stash off waivers.

Week 13 of the 2024 NFL season is almost behind us. We saw some exciting games this week, and it also felt like we got a larger number of physical fights on the field between teams than usual. Right?

Below, you'll find our Week 14 wide receiver fantasy football waiver wire pickups list with players you should be targeting on the fantasy football waiver wire ahead of Week 13. Not all of these waiver wire options are the same. Some players may be better in PPR or deeper leagues, so it’s not a one-size-fits-all comparison. Use your best judgment when deciding which of these players is the right fit for your roster.

Be sure to also check out our Waiver Wire Adds for Week 14 for help at all the skill positions. All players on this list are around 50% rostered or below.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee Titans - 17% rostered

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine was my No. 1 waiver wire add last week, but based on his rostered rate, I'm guessing that most of y'all didn't listen to me. It's fine. You have another chance this week.

NWI caught a pair of touchdowns on Sunday against the Commanders, finishing with three catches for 61 yards on eight targets. The target number was his highest of 2024, a sign that Westbook-Ikhine's role is growing.

Since the bye week, Westbrook-Ikhine has failed to find the end zone just one time. He has surpassed 48 yards in four of the past five games.

Look, no one can keep scoring touchdowns every week forever, but Westbrook-Ikhine's ability to get into the end zone can't be ignored. He has the highest ceiling of any receiver on the waiver wire in over half of leagues.

Adam Thielen, Carolina Panthers - 31% rostered

In his first game back from his hamstring injury, the Panthers brought Adam Thielen along slowly. In his second game, the team unleashed Thielen as the team's No. 1 receiver.

The veteran wideout was targeted 10 times, catching eight passes for 99 yards and a touchdown. With Bryce Young finally figuring some things out at quarterback, Thielen is a high-upside WR3 option who should be rostered in most leagues.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, New Orleans Saints - 31% rostered

This week, Marquez Valdes-Scantling continued to do what he's been doing since joining the Saints: score touchdowns despite a low volume.

MVS has played four games with New Orleans now and has scored four touchdowns. He's only been targeted 11 times, so 36.4% of his targets have resulted in touchdowns.

At some point, this hot streak has to end. It's not as sustainable as Westbrook-Ikhine's touchdown scoring, for example. Still, Valdes-Scantling is maintaining a key role with the Saints, even if the lack of targets gives him a very low floor.

Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts - 19% rostered

Josh Downs missed this week's game with a shoulder injury, opening room for Alec Pierce to play a larger role. Pierce is the kind of player who thrives in a spot like that, so it's no surprise he found the end zone against the Patriots.

What was surprising is that Pierce found the end zone without some monster big-yardage play. He's really made his impact as a deep threat for the Colts, but he caught just two of his six targets for 16 yards this week.

If Downs misses more time after the bye week, Pierce has boom-or-bust flex appeal.

Deeper Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 14

Marquise Brown, Kansas City Chiefs - 18% rostered

It sounds like Hollywood Brown is going to be back on the field a little earlier than expected. I really didn't think we'd see him before the playoffs, but Ian Rapoport reported that he could play as soon as Week 16 against the Texans.

I'd say he's worth stashing in 14-team leagues, though you have to assess how many risks you're willing to accept. Brown won't return until the fantasy semifinals at the earliest, so do you trust him in that matchup? I'm not sure there's an answer to that at this point, but you can stash him for now.

Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars - 1% rostered

With Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis on the IR, the Jaguars turned to Parker Washington this week as the main option opposite Brian Thomas Jr.

Washington responded to the increased role in a huge way, catching six of his 12 targets for 103 yards and a touchdown and also adding a two-point conversion. He had another end-zone target as well.

I want to see this happen again before I go all in on Washington in shallower leagues, but I'll be putting waiver claims in on him in all my 14-team leagues.

Ray-Ray McCloud III, Atlanta Falcons - 14% rostered

For the second game in a row, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud saw six targets. This week against the Chargers, he caught four of those for 95 yards, his highest yardage total of the season. He's a streaming option in Week 14 against a Vikings defense that's given up the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers.

Sterling Shepard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 5% rostered

After being targeted seven times against the Panthers, Sterling Shepard now has 14 targets in the two games since Tampa's bye week. This week, he caught four passes for 42 yards.

In that same span, Jalen McMillan has five targets. Trey Palmer has two.

It's safe to call Shepard the No. 2 guy behind Mike Evans, and it's no surprise that having Evans back on the field over these last two weeks has opened up space for Shepard to operate.

He's not a league winner, but there's streaming appeal in 14 or 16-team leagues.

Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals - 10% rostered

Admittedly, I don't think there's a ton of upside here, but Michael Wilson has 50 or more yards in back-to-back games and saw seven targets against the Vikings. There's some deep-league appeal here, though he possesses an extremely low floor.
