The Houston Texans defense will need to continue to step up this week since the team will be without starting quarterback C.J. Stroud as they host the Jaguars in a divisional matchup. The Texans' defense has been outstanding all season and has only allowed more than 20 points one time in eight games. They had only one sack last week against the Broncos, but did force two turnovers while giving up just 18 points in the three-point loss. The unit has 10 takeaways in its last four games and has also scored a defensive touchdown during that stretch. They rely on Will Anderson Jr. (quad) and Danielle Hunter to bring pressure off the edges, and Anderson did not get an injury designation despite being limited earlier this week in practice. They'll be chasing Trevor Lawrence on Sunday, and the Jags have given up 21 sacks in eight games this season, including 18 in their last four games. The Jags rank in the middle of the pack for a DST matchup, but the Texans have been good enough to be a top-10 option in almost every matchup. This week, RotoBaller has Houston ranked as the No. 7 DST, so they should be started in most leagues.--Zach Thompson

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz has been a solid PPR producer this season, and his high volume of targets on short passes gives him a high floor again this week against the Jaguars. The Jaguars have given up the second-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, and Schultz has turned his 6.0 targets into 4.8 catches per game, although only for 48.1 yards per game and no touchdowns. Schultz has at least five catches in five of his last six games after hauling in six catches for 77 yards last week against Denver. He hasn't hit 100 yards or found the end zone, but his consistent involvement makes him a bye-week or injury fill-in option or a strong second tight end. He's the No. 19 TE this week in RotoBaller's rankings and is a little higher-risk with Davis Mills replacing C.J. Stroud, but Schultz has been consistently involved enough to still bring upside in this favorable matchup.--Zach Thompson

Houston Texans wide receiver Jaylin Noel had a few good weeks while filling in for Christian Kirk, but with Kirk back from his hamstring injury last week, Noel didn't have a catch and lost three yards on his only carry to finish with negative fantasy points. The rookie from Iowa State still has upside, but he's not likely to be involved enough in this week's contest to be relevant for fantasy. With Davis Mills replacing C.J. Stroud (concussion), the offense will likely be more conservative, and Kirk and Nico Collins will do most of the heavy lifting at receiver since they're back from injury. This week, Noel is only the No. 81 WR in RotoBaller's rankings, leaving him well outside of a starter spot in almost all formats.--Zach Thompson

Houston Texans wide receiver Jayden Higgins has flashed some potential in his rookie season and has 14 catches for 159 yards and two touchdowns in his eight games this year. He stepped up a little when Nico Collins and Christian Kirk were both injured, but he returned to a limited role with just one catch for four yards in last week's loss to the Broncos. With both veteran receivers healthy and Davis Mills filling in for the injured C.J. Stroud (concussion), Higgins is not likely to be heavily involved this week. He does have big-play or touchdown-dependent upside, but he is only WR76 in RotoBaller's rankings, so he can be left on the bench in almost all formats.--Zach Thompson

Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk is a high-risk play in all formats in Week 10 when his team hosts the Jaguars. Kirk just returned from a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury, but he'll now be without his starting quarterback, C.J. Stroud (concussion), for at least this week. He had four catches for 26 yards on eight targets last week against Denver and has at least three catches in each game this season, but only for 135 scoreless yards. Backup QB Davis Mills will likely manage the game while the team relies on its excellent defense. Kirk typically gets enough receptions to deserve a little PPR attention, but with a new QB and likely a conservative game plan, he is very high-risk this week. RotoBaller has him ranked as the No. 53 WR this week, so he should be left on the bench or waiver wire in most formats.--Zach Thompson

The San Francisco 49ers' D/ST unit has been an ineffective option for most of 2025, and Week 10 will likely be more of the same. The Niners have allowed more than 21 points in five of their last six games, have just one interception this season, and have the lowest quarterback pressure rate (25.5%) and second-lowest sack rate (3.3%) in the league. Fueling the futility has been a litany of injuries. Last week, Mykel Williams (knee) tore his ACL, becoming the second lineman from San Francisco (after Nick Bosa) to do so. Fellow lineman Yetur Gross-Matos (knee) and linebacker Fred Warner (ankle) are both on injured reserve. In Week 10, linemen Alfred Collins (hip), Kalia Davis (ankle), and Keion White (groin) are questionable, as are linebackers Dee Winters (knee) and Tatum Bethune (thigh). Leave San Francisco's D/ST out of fantasy lineups in Week 10, as those who remain will be hard-pressed to slow down the Rams' offense.--Dan Stephens

San Francisco 49ers kicker Eddy Pineiro had another productive outing in Week 9 against the New York Giants. Pineiro was good on all four of his extra point tries and hit field goals from 54 and 33 yards out in the 49ers' 34-24 win. Not one known for an overpowering leg, Pineiro is now 6-for-6 from beyond 50 yards. In Week 10, the 49ers host the Rams, who are allowing opponents 15.9 points per game and have given up the fewest touchdowns (11) in the league. That said, this game has one of the highest implied point totals of the week, which could make for a busy afternoon for Pineiro. Pineiro currently ranks third among kickers in fantasy points per game and should be started in Week 10.--Dan Stephens

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has not lived up to expectations so far in 2025, producing a 12-100-2 stat line over four games played. On the positive side, the hamstring injury that sent Kittle to injured reserve for five weeks does not appear to be holding him back. Since returning in Week 7, his snap share has fluctuated between 82% and 89%. Unfortunately, even though he is on the field far more often than not, the team is looking elsewhere to move the ball. Kittle's target share in his four games is only 13.5% compared to 18.3% in 2024, and he is being targeted on one in every six routes run, down from one in every four last year. Still, a player of Kittle's caliber has the potential to go off any given week. He should be in starting lineups in Week 10.--Dan Stephens

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins hauled in seven of his 11 targets for 75 yards in Week 10, producing double-digit PPR points for the fifth time in his last six games. Those passes came from both C.J Stroud (concussion) and his replacement, Davis Mills, who will start in Stroud's spot on Sunday against the Jaguars. Without his usual QB, Collins brings more risk than usual, but he still brings a very high ceiling and plenty of PPR production. On the season, he has 33 catches for 414 yards and three touchdowns in seven games. RotoBaller has him ranked as the No. 13 wide receiver this week, making him a very strong WR2 in standard leagues, even though Stroud's absence does make him less of a "sure thing" than normal.--Zach Thompson

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Demarcus Robinson will be granted at least one more week as the team's third wide receiver while Ricky Pearsall (knee) sits out a fifth consecutive game. Working behind Christian McCaffrey, Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder), George Kittle, and Kendrick Bourne in the pass game will leave few opportunities for Robinson. In Week 5, when the 49ers and Rams met for the first time in 2025, Robinson was held to three catches for 39 yards, even though Jennings, Pearsall, and Kittle were all absent due to injury. Since Jennings and Kittle rejoined the starting lineup in Week 7, Robinson has seen a total of five targets and was held without a catch in two of San Francisco's three games. In Week 10, Robinson should not be on fantasy football rosters, let alone starting lineups.--Dan Stephens

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is in line for another start on Sunday when the team hosts the Los Angeles Rams. The last time the divisional rivals squared off, in Week 5, Bourne exploded for 142 yards on 10 catches. Bourne was pushed to the top of the pecking order in the Niners' passing attack in that game due to the injury-related absences of Ricky Pearsall (knee), Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder), and George Kittle. Pearsall will miss a fifth consecutive game in Week 10, but Bourne will share the field with a healthy Jennings and Kittle this time. Since both returned to action in Week 7, Bourne has registered a total of seven catches for 92 yards on eight targets. Bourne projects as a lower-end WR4 in Week 10, making him a flex candidate in deeper leagues but not a must-start by any stretch.--Dan Stephens

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder) carries no designation into the team's Week 10 rematch with the Los Angeles Rams. Jennings, along with Ricky Pearsall (knee) and George Kittle, missed the teams' first matchup in Week 5 due to injuries, leading to a ten-catch, 142-yard bonanza for Kendrick Bourne. Jennings himself torched Los Angeles to the tune of 11-175-3 in Week 3 last season. Since returning from his absence, Jennings has not been very productive, though he still has been a focal point of the 49ers' offense. Over the last three weeks, he had a 24.7% target share and 34.6% air yard share. The Rams will likely have their attention focused on Christian McCaffrey on Sunday, which could open things up for Jennings to take another step forward. He projects as a WR3 and can be started in most leagues in Week 10.--Dan Stephens

San Francisco 49ers running back Brian Robinson Jr. had a season-high 53 rushing yards and his first touchdown of the season in Week 9 against the Giants. The production gave him his first RB2 finish of 2025. Robinson is unlikely to repeat last week's success when the 49ers host the Rams on Sunday. For one, the opportunity for Robinson to produce consistently is not there. Operating as an infrequently used change-of-pace back behind Christian McCaffrey has resulted in an average of 10 offensive snaps and 4.6 rushing attempts per game. Secondly, when Robinson does get on the field in Week 10, he will be up against a Rams defense that held him to 12 yards on five carries and offered McCaffrey 2.6 yards per carry in Week 5. Robinson projects as an RB5 and is better left on the bench in Week 10.--Dan Stephens

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey took a while to get things going on the ground, but now has reached 100 rushing yards in two of his last three games. However, in the game between, McCaffrey put up his worst numbers of the year in a slog against the Houston Texans. On Sunday, McCaffrey again faces another tough opponent in the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, the sixth-fewest rushing yards, and have yet to give up a touchdown on the ground to the position. When the teams met in Week 5, McCaffrey had just 2.6 yards per carry but logged an 8-82-1 line as a receiver. Despite the difficult matchup, McCaffrey's talent makes him a weekly contender to finish as a top-12 back, and he should be locked into fantasy lineups this weekend.--Dan Stephens

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones (knee) is expected to draw his eighth start of the season in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams. Brock Purdy (toe) is listed as questionable after a week of limited practices, and would serve as Jones' backup if active. The last time Jones faced the Rams, he enjoyed his best game of the season, passing for 342 yards and two touchdowns with no turnovers, and did so with Ricky Pearsall (knee), Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder), and George Kittle out due to injury. It was an exceptional lapse for the Rams' defense, which has given up just nine passing touchdowns and has allowed only one other top-12 finish to an opposing quarterback this season. This time around, Jones will still be missing Pearsall but has Jennings and Kittle back in his arsenal. Jones projects as a mid-range QB2, making him viable in two-QB formats.--Dan Stephens
