Kyler Murray Will be the Starting QB When he's Healthy
Jacoby Brissett's strong performance in the Week 6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. When asked if Kyler Murray (foot) is still the starter under center when he's healthy, Gannon said, "Yeah." "He's the starting quarterback," Gannon confirmed. Brissett threw for 320 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception on Sunday. The last time that Murray went for over 300 yards passing in a game was in late October of 2022. Although it was just a one-game sample size for Brissett, he looked better than Murray has in his five starts in 2025. The Cardinals organization continues to stand behind Murray as the starting QB, but Brissett's impressive composure in his first start of the year on Sunday could afford the team more patience in bringing Murray back from his foot injury.

Colston Loveland Back in Action for Bears Offense
Colston Loveland (hip) is officially active for Monday Night Football against the Washington Commanders to wrap up Week 6 action. Loveland will be returning for the first time since Week 3 due to a hip injury. The 21-year-old sat out of the Week 4 contest and is now ready after having extra time to heal during the team's Week 5 bye. With Loveland back in the fold, quarterback Caleb Williams will have his full complement of targets in the passing game against a suspect Washington secondary. There's a lot to like about Colston's long-term fantasy outlook, but early in his rookie season, he has struggled to produce and will likely take a back seat to Cole Kmet yet again in his return on Monday. In his first three NFL games, Loveland has caught half of his six targets for 43 yards and no touchdowns.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. Active on Monday Night
Chris Rodriguez Jr. (calf) is officially active for the Monday Night Football game against the Chicago Bears in Week 6 despite not practicing all week. Rodriguez, rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt, and Jeremy McNichols had been operating in a committee backfield after the season-ending injury to Austin Ekeler (Achilles) earlier this year until last week, when Croskey-Merritt took hold of the lead-back role in a breakout performance in the win over the Los Angeles Chargers. It's unclear if Rodriguez will be limited at all on Monday night, but we'd expect him to take a clear back seat to JCM once again against Chicago. The 25-year-old RB should be viewed as a pretty shaky touchdown-dependent RB3/flex in fantasy lineups on Monday. In the last three games, Rodriguez has just over 100 yards rushing and no touchdowns on 23 carries.

Deebo Samuel Sr. Officially Active on Monday Night
Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is officially active for the Monday night contest in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears. Samuel was only able to get in one limited practice going into Monday's game, which is why he was listed as questionable on Saturday's final injury report. However, he'll end up suiting up for Washington, which is good news, considering they will be without both Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin, knee) for yet another game. It's possible that Samuel won't be entirely 100% health-wise on Monday, but he still deserves to be started in all fantasy lineups now that he's active. Samuel has been the Commanders' go-to offensive weapon through the air in the last two weeks with McLaurin and Brown out, and that shouldn't change much on Monday in a plus matchup. The 29-year-old will be looking to find the end zone for the third straight week.

Cairo Santos Ruled Out Against Washington
Cairo Santos (thigh) has been ruled out for the Week 6 game on Monday night against the Washington Commanders. Santos drew a questionable tag on Saturday despite three full practices this week, and now he has been ruled out. The Bears elevated kicker Jake Moody from their practice squad to the active 53-man roster before the game, so he is in line to make his debut with Chicago on Monday Night Football. The 25-year-old Moody was cut by the San Francisco 49ers after going 1-for-3 in the season opener. Moody's struggles from last year continued in Week 1 in the Bay Area, but now he'll get another shot to prove himself with the Bears, with Santos injured. It could just be a one-week showcase, though, if Santos is ready to kick again for the team's Week 7 game against the New Orleans Saints.

Ray-Ray McCloud III a Healthy Scratch for Monday Night
Ray-Ray McCloud III a healthy scratch from the Monday night contest against the visiting Buffalo Bills, according to Tori McElhaney of AtlantaFalcons.com. Darnell Mooney (hamstring) is inactive for the Falcons' receiving corps, so Casey Washington, KhaDarel Hodge, and Jamal Agnew could see bigger roles in the passing game behind Drake London. Both London and tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. should have slightly higher ceilings against Buffalo with Mooney out as well. McCloud has been a non-factor in fantasy in Atlanta in 2025, catching six of 14 targets for 64 yards and no touchdowns in four games played. His best game came in the season opener, when he had three catches for 51 yards in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

George Kittle Expected to Return to Practice This Week
George Kittle (hamstring) to return to practice this week ahead of the Week 7 game on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. It means that the Niners should be designating Kittle to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday so that he can rejoin the team at practice. It's good news that the Pro Bowl tight end is close to returning to the practice field, but it's not a guarantee that he'll officially be activated from IR to play in Week 7. The 32-year-old has been out since injuring his hamstring in the season opener. It's unclear if Kittle will have restrictions on his snap count when he's officially back, but his return will be a massive boost to San Fran's banged-up receiving corps. When Kittle is back, he'll be a no-doubt TE1 in fantasy that should be peppered with targets from either quarterback Mac Jones or Brock Purdy (toe).

The Tennessee Titans are naming Mike McCoy as their interim head coach after they fired Brian Callahan on Monday, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. McCoy will make his debut as the Titans' interim head coach in Week 7 against the New England Patriots. The 53-year-old coach served as the head coach for the Los Angeles Chargers from 2013-16 was serving as Tennessee's senior offensive assistant before being promoted to the title of interim head coach. After serving as the head coach for the Chargers, McCoy also had stints as an offensive coordinator with the Denver Broncos (2017) and the Arizona Cardinals (2018), before working as the Jacksonville Jaguars' quarterbacks coach from 2022-24. Garrett Wilson Expected to Miss "a Couple of Weeks" With Hyperextended Knee
Garrett Wilson (knee) suffered a hyperextended knee in the Week 6 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in London, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. According to a source, Wilson is now expected to miss "a couple of weeks." While it's obviously bad news for the Jets and for fantasy managers, Wilson avoided a serious long-term injury and will be back this year. The Jets have two more games in Week 7 (against the Carolina Panthers) and in Week 8 (versus the Cincinnati Bengals) before their bye in Week 9. Fantasy managers probably should be planning for Wilson to be out through the team's Week 9 bye, which would mean the earliest he could return to play would be in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns. The Jets already had one of the worst passing attacks in the NFL, and with Wilson out, now they'll have to lean more on rookie tight end Mason Taylor and receivers Josh Reynolds, Allen Lazard, Tyler Johnson, and Arian Smith.

Curtis Samuel Won't Play on Monday Night Against Falcons
Curtis Samuel (neck, ribs) is officially inactive for the Monday night contest on the road against the Atlanta Falcons, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. In addition to Samuel, the Bills' offense will be missing tight end Dalton Kincaid (oblique) against what has been a much-improved Atlanta defense so far in 2025. The 29-year-old Samuel hasn't been on the fantasy radar to begin with, but his absence on Monday means less depth in the wideout corps for Buffalo behind Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Joshua Palmer. The Bills have their bye coming in Week 7, so hopefully Samuel will be ready to go for a Week 8 contest against the Carolina Panthers. Samuel has only been active for two games so far in 2025 and has caught three of his four targets for 35 yards and one touchdown. He had just one TD in 14 games a year ago for Buffalo and should remain on the waiver wire.

Dalton Kincaid Ruled Out for Monday Night
Dalton Kincaid (oblique), who was listed as questionable to play in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons, is out for Monday night's contest, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. In addition to Kincaid, the Bills' offense will be without veteran wide receiver Curtis Samuel (neck, ribs). Kincaid probably could have played in Monday's game, but the Bills are electing to sit him out with their bye coming in Week 7. After two full weeks of rest, we'd expect Kincaid to be ready to roll in Week 8 on Oct. 26 against the Carolina Panthers. With Kincaid out against Atlanta, backup Dawson Knox will have streaming value in DFS and for anyone who was planning to start Kincaid. Knox only has six catches on 10 targets this year for 54 scoreless yards, but he should be in line for his most production in 2025 on Monday night with Kincaid sidelined.

Hassan Haskins Fades as Kimani Vidal Steals the Show
Hassan Haskins started Sunday's game but quickly faded as second-year back Kimani Vidal took over in the team's 29-27 win over the Miami Dolphins. Haskins managed only six carries for 14 yards and one catch for nine yards, while Vidal exploded for 138 total yards and a touchdown. Even against the league's worst run defense, Haskins struggled to produce, averaging just 2.3 yards per carry. With Omarion Hampton (ankle) still on IR for at least the next three games, Vidal appears to be the clear RB1 moving forward. Haskins can be dropped in shallow fantasy leagues or stashed in deeper formats unless injuries occur again.

Oronde Gadsden is a Rookie Tight End on the Rise
Oronde Gadsden had a breakout game in Week 6, catching seven of eight targets for 68 yards in the team's 29-27 win over the Miami Dolphins. He was second on the team in targets and ran more routes than Keenan Allen (32 vs. 29). Gadsden clearly benefited from wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) being out and continues to separate himself from veteran tight ends Will Dissly and Tyler Conklin. In Week 7, he will face an Indianapolis Colts team that has allowed touchdowns to tight ends in back-to-back weeks, giving Gadsden a great opportunity to keep building momentum. We recommended stashing Gadsden in deeper leagues these past few weeks, but fantasy managers in all leagues should take note. The rookie is trending up fast and could serve as a high-floor TE2 moving forward.

Ladd McConkey Heating Up, Emerging as Justin Herbert's Top Target
Ladd McConkey had a standout performance in the team's last-second 29-27 win against the Miami Dolphins, catching seven passes for 100 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. He led the team in nearly every receiving category, stepping up with Quentin Johnston (hamstring) out, and made a crucial 42-yard reception with seconds left to set up Cameron Dicker's game-winning field goal. This is McConkey's second straight week with a touchdown after barely seeing any red zone targets in the first four games of the season. McConkey is expected to remain active in Week 7, as the 5-1 Indianapolis Colts visit the Chargers at SoFi Stadium. The Colts' pass defense has been average, and with Johnston's status still uncertain, McConkey should be in line for another productive game. His rapport with Herbert is starting to resemble that of the end of the 2024 season. McConkey is a dependable WR3 with WR2 upside moving forward.

Justin Herbert Leads Another Comeback Win, Back in Top Form
Justin Herbert bounced back strongly in the team's 29-27 last-second win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. He completed 29 of 38 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns, showing poise and evasiveness behind a depleted offensive line. Herbert stayed calm under constant pressure, leading a game-winning drive with less than 40 seconds remaining. The Chargers' rushing attack performed well throughout the game, giving Herbert some needed breathing room. In Week 7, Herbert faces the 5-1 Indianapolis Colts, who just allowed backup Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett to pass for 320 yards. Expect another confident performance from Herbert as he tries to keep the Chargers' momentum going. He continues to be a reliable QB1.
