Vic Burley Suspended Indefinitely Following Arrest
Clemson defensive tackle Vic Burley has been suspended indefinitely following an arrest for disorderly conduct early Saturday morning, head coach Dabo Swinney announced. Burley had only returned to practice Thursday after missing time earlier in camp, and Swinney said he noticed him several times during the Tigers' final scrimmage. The redshirt junior logged 15 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss and a pass breakup across 175 defensive snaps in 2025, then started the Pinstripe Bowl. Clemson already entered 2026 replacing all 24 regular-season starts at defensive tackle from last year. Burley's suspension removes another experienced option from that rotation with a Sept. 5 trip to LSU next on the schedule.
