NBA DFS Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Warriors vs. Clippers Thursday Night Showdown

Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers

Koby's top NBA DFS lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Warriors vs. Clippers showdown slate on 11/30/2023. His Thursday Night NBA showdown advice.

Happy Wednesday, RotoBallers! Welcome back to our weekly showdown. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and hopefully, you cashed out on some bets and lineups over the weekend as well. Christian Wood was my downfall unfortunately as he killed all my lineups last Wednesday. This time around, we get a great matchup between the Warriors and the Clippers. With the recent news of Chris Paul and Gary Payton II being out, the Warriors will have to dig deep into the bench to fill those minutes. As for the Clippers, they are quite healthy for once. The tough part about them is who is going to ball out because it really could be any one of the big three on any given night.

I absolutely love playing the NBA showdowns daily, it has become one of my favorite forms of DFS. Nothing is more thrilling than having a lineup consisting of players from one game and sweating it out while watching it live. There is a lot less room for error though with there being fewer options to choose from. Hopefully, with all the advanced stats, I will be able to bring you the best analysis possible and get you some extra cash for the weekend ahead. So strap in as the season is just beginning and we will be here all year long.

I will provide you with daily fantasy basketball picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Warriors vs. Clippers NBA DFS showdown slate on November 30. These NBA DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. If you have any questions, you can follow me on Twitter/X @DFSKoby and please feel free to ask any questions about upcoming slates as I'm happy to answer any DMs or in our RotoBaller Discord!

MVP/Captain Plays

Stephen Curry- PG, $14,700 (DK), $15,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Avg. Season Stats: 29.7 points, 4.1 assists, 4.9 rebounds with a combined 1.0 STOCK average.

I believe this one is kind of a gimme. But it must be said. The best PG in the game right now must be played. The entire offense is run through him and without Chris Paul, this only enforces that. As long as this game stays close, which it should with LA coming off a back-to-back, Steph should play close to 35 minutes. I also expect Steph to pass the ball a bit more and get some assists as he will be the true PG he was before Chris joined the team. I'm expecting a 50+ fantasy point night for Curry and honestly, he shouldn't have any issue getting that.

Kawhi Leonard- PF, $12,600 (DK), $14,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Avg. Season Stats: 21.1 points, 3.4 assists, 5.6 rebounds, with a combined 2.4 STOCK average.

With the pricing the way it is for this slate, you really should be getting two of the main three from the Clippers. Any variation of PG, Kawhi, and James Harden. Kawhi however has been solid against the Warriors in the past. He has scored 30, 21, and 33 in his three most recent matchups against them. I love the pair being PG with him as he has been much more efficient this season than James Harden has. James has been up and down this season and can be a bit hard to trust. Kawhi is coming off a great game last night as well against the Kings and with a short trip down to San Francisco, hopefully he can stay hot. He makes for a solid captain option as he is quite cheap compared to what we usually see our studs at.

Other Captains/MVPs: Paul George, James Harden

DFS Flex Plays

Norman Powell - SG, $5,600 (DK), $8,500 (FD)

If you can afford to get up to Russell Westbrook, I would go to him in a heartbeat but I know it can be difficult, especially on a slate like this where there is a ton of studs. Norman Powell is getting similar minutes to Westbrook off the bench and is much more of an efficient scorer. Where Westbrook beats him out is everything else. But on the other hand, we are getting Norm for 2.2k cheaper on DK and 3.5k cheaper on FD. If you want to jam as many studs into your lineups, then Norman Powell is the guy who will get you a solid 20 fantasy points and help you afford that extra stud who can get you 40+.

Klay Thompson- SG/SF, $6,600 (DK), $10,000 (FD)

Klay hasn't quite had the start I think most were hoping for him. He still hasn't had that boom game yet this season but he's been a consistent scorer averaging 15 points per game. This is more of a DK play as he is fairly cheap and fits as a great flex option in most lineups. He will give you a solid 25-30 fantasy points with consistency. The Clippers are also giving up the fifth-most fantasy points to small forwards in the NBA this year. This is a game where they will need his scoring as Steph can't do it all. Klay is in a great spot to finally have that boom game.

Other Flex Options: Russell Westbrook

DFS Value Plays

Moses Moody- SG, $4,200 (DK), $6,500 (FD)

When I saw Chris Paul and Gary Payton II go down, I knew it would be time for Moses Moody to get some legit minutes. He's already been averaging around 15 minutes off the bench and now with no CP3 and GP2, this is his time to shine. I assume Brandin Podziemski ends up taking some of those minutes as well but I think Moody is in for a 25-minute night. As long as he stays efficient with his shooting, he should be in for a good scoring night. We don't need much for a player who is near min-price on FD. 6,500$ is a steal for what we could be getting out of Moody tonight.

Terance Mann- PG, $4,800 (DK), $7,500 (FD)

I'm not sure I understand the pricing here. We are getting 30+ minutes of a player for the value of a bench player. I know, Mann isn't the most efficient and he's out there with a bunch of starters who don't share the ball much but this is a value you can't pass up, especially on FD. He has averaged close to 18 FPPG so far this season and is coming off of an 18-point effort against the Kings last night. In his last three games, he has had 30+ minutes as the Clippers have been tightening up their rotation. The only way he loses minutes at this point is if Russell Westbrook is having a great game and takes over or loses his starting spot.

Other Value Plays: Daniel Theis

Have a great night and let's make some cash!
