FantasyDraft Lineup Picks (Week 2) - NFL DFS Advice

It is finally time for NFL! We've been waiting since the end of last season for this, and I'm sure everyone feels no one is as excited as them. FantasyDraft is kicking off the NFL season with a bang, as they have a few great tournaments to be a part of.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy football lineup picks for FantasyDraft for Week Two. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FantasyDraft - DFS Quarterback Pick

Matt Ryan - vs GB ($14,100)

Ryan looked good against the Chicago Bears last week, but he was far from as impressive as his 2016 form. He was not needed in that game, though, as the Falcons never trailed the Bears. This week, he gets a matchup against the Green Bay Packers, which will likely turn into a shootout. The Vegas total is set at 53.5 points, which is the second highest of the slate. Green Bay played well last week, but that was mostly because of Seattle's struggling offensive line play. Ryan is not going to come cheap, but he's a player with a high floor, high ceiling combination.

FantasyDraft - DFS Running Back Picks

Ty Montgomery - at ATL ($10,900)

There were questions surrounding whether or not Montgomery would be Green Bay's workhorse running back this season. He led the NFL in percentage of snaps for a running back in the first week, displaying his ability to be a workhorse. He also ran the second most routes at wide receiver behind only Matt Forte. Montgomery is a player that rarely comes off the field, and he should see plenty of opportunities against an average Atlanta defense. This game should feature a ton of scoring, making Montgomery an elite option this week.

Jacquizz Rodgers - vs CHI ($8,700)

Rodgers is going to draw the start for the suspended Doug Martin this week. He was arguably the best running back in Tampa Bay last season when he was given the opportunity. He has displayed the potential to be a three-down running back, but it would not be shocking if Charles Sims handles passing downs. Still, Rodgers gets a good matchup against Chicago and comes with a low price tag. He's a great salary relief option on this slate.

FantasyDraft - DFS Wide Receiver Picks

Julio Jones - vs GB ($17,400)

Jones is coming off somewhat of a disappointing game against the Bears, but he was still an efficient wide receiver without finding the end zone. Falcons head coach, Dan Quinn, stated after the game that Jones needs to see more targets this week. He gets a great matchup against Green Bay, who features one of the worst cornerback duos in the NFL this season. He's an elite stacking option with Ryan, as they are one of the safest stacks on the slate.

Marqise Lee - vs TEN ($7,400)

Allen Robinson was injured on his only catch this season, which means Austin Hurns and Marqise Lee are going to need to step up in his place. Lee is expected to take over as the top receiving option, while Hurns moves into the number two role. It is tough to trust Lee after not receiving a target last week, but the Jaguars only attempted 21 passes in that game. This week, the game will likely stay much more competitive, as the Titans are small favorites. Lee should take over as the featured wide receiver, but he is not priced like it. It is only a matter of time before his price increases. Take advantage of it while it is low.

FantasyDraft - DFS Tight End Pick

Cameron Brate - vs CHI ($5,900)

Brate is coming off a bye week, as the Bucs game was postponed due to Hurricane Irma. Brate is extremely cheap, as many people are expecting O.J. Howard to steal his snaps. That will not be the case early this season, though, as Brate is a great receiving tight end, while Howard is a better run blocking tight end at this point. Brate is a huge part of the Bucs red zone plans, as he saw the second most red zone targets on the team last season, which was only one less than Mike Evans. He gets a solid matchup against the Bears, and Brate is a great option for his low price tag.

FantasyDraft - DFS Defense Pick

Arizona Cardinals D/ST - at IND ($8,100)

I generally try not to pay up for defenses, but this is a special occasion. The Colts will be without Andrew Luck again, which means either Scott Tolzien or Jacoby Brissett will draw the start. Tolzien struggled last week against the Rams, throwing multiple interceptions for touchdowns. Brissett, on the other hand, is new to the offense and likely has yet to fully learn the playbook. The Cardinals are -7.5 point favorites in a game set at only 44 points, making them one of the top offenses on the slate this week.
