Cristofer Torin, SS, Arizona Diamondbacks
Level: Double-A
2026 stats: 35 G, .265/.337/.449, 4 HR, 17 RBI, 26 R, 4 SB, 9.0% BB%, 13.8% K%, .287 BABIP, .349 wOBA, 88 wRC+
The Diamondbacks signed Torin as an international free agent out of Venezuela back in 2022. He has produced at just about every level where he's made an appearance, including Double-A, which is where he finished 2025 and opened the 2026 season.
Torin has a plus hit tool because of his ability to make contact, draw walks, and limit strikeouts. His contact skills are some of the best in Double-A, and you could argue that his hit tool is pretty close to pro-ready. Unfortunately, he has lacked power in the past. His career-high home run total is six, and although he's on pace to set a new career-high in 2026, it'll still be a below-average output.
Last week, Torin went 12-for-22 with one home run, four doubles, three triples, and four RBI. He also drew one walk, didn't strike out, and stole a base. Even though the power output was minimal, it was very impressive to see Torin hit above .500, deliver eight extra-base hits, and never strike out. Just 21 years old, he should be in consideration for a promotion to Triple-A in June.

Karson Milbrandt, RHP, Miami Marlins
Level: Double-A
2026 stats: 8 G, 8 GS, 4-1, 42.1 IP, 1.06 ERA, 2.66 xFIP, 13.39 K/9, 2.98 BB/9, 0.64 HR/9, 59.8% GB%, .263 BABIP
Milbrant was the Marlins' second-round pick back in the 2022 MLB Draft. He was a prep prospect at the time, and the Marlins lured him away from his commitment to Vanderbilt by giving him a $1.5 million signing bonus. The decision has panned out for both parties, as Milbrant has dazzled across various levels of the minor leagues.
Milbrandt relies heavily on his upper-80s cutter, which has sharp bite and can miss plenty of bats. His fastball has a decent shape, and it's an average-to-plus offering when you consider its average velocity of 97 mph. He rounds out his repertoire with a slider and curveball. While both breaking balls have good shapes, the slider tends to miss more bats and grades out better on Stuff+ models.
On Saturday, the right-hander struck out 12 batters over six scoreless innings. He limited damage all-around, allowing just three hits and two walks. He was not afraid to attack the strike zone, throwing strikes at a 65.9% clip.
This is the second week in a row that Milbrandt has been featured in our Dynasty Fantasy Baseball Prospect Sleepers, Breakouts, Risers series. He hasn't allowed a single run in three starts dating back to May 2, and he has 32 strikeouts to just four walks over his last 18 innings of work.

Alexis Hernandez, OF, Toronto Blue Jays
Level: High-A
2026 stats: 37 G, .292/.375/.511, 6 HR, 24 RBI, 26 R, 3 SB, 10.5% BB%, 21.0% K%, .340 BABIP, .396 wOBA, 137 wRC+
Hernandez was originally signed by the Red Sox out of Venezuela in 2019, but he switched AL East teams in 2023 when the Blue Jays selected him during the Rule 5 draft. He's on the older side for a prospect — 23 years old in High-A — but still has the potential to contribute long-term.
So far this year, Hernandez's advanced metrics have been simply average. He owns a 102.5 mph EV90, a 60% barrel rate and hard-hit rate, a 23.3% whiff rate, and a 29.6% chase rate. He runs relatively well, although his three steals this year put him behind pace compared to his steal total of 17 from 2025. Hernandez has also posted decent power this year, and he has a great chance to surpass his previous career-high home run total of eight.
At the plate last week, Hernandez went 12-for-25 with three home runs, five doubles, 10 RBI, three walks, and four strikeouts. Considering he's already played 63 games at High-A, this big week could be enough to warrant a promotion to Double-A New Hampshire in the near future.

Nolan Perry, RHP, Toronto Blue Jays
Level: High-A
2026 stats: 8 G, 7 GS, 2-0, 36.0 IP, 1.25 ERA, 2.20 FIP, 15.00 K/9, 2.75 BB/9, 0.50 HR/9, 39.0% GB%, .224 BABIP
The Blue Jays selected Perry with their 12th-round pick in the 2022 MLB Draft. At the time, he was a prep prospect from Carlsbad High School in New Mexico, and he fetched a $200,000 signing bonus that lured him away from his commitment to Texas Tech. His development has been slightly delayed, as Tommy John surgery sidelined him for part of the 2024 season and all of 2025. He opened this year at Single-A and was promoted to High-A at the start of May.
Following his surgery, Perry has added velocity to his fastball, which now sits around 94 mph and has surrendered an impressively low .206 xwOBA this year. He throws a breaking ball (either his slider or curveball) 50% of the time. The curve gets better results (.063 xSLG and 60% whiff) than the slider. He rounds out his repertoire with a low-spin changeup, which he uses ~5% of the time.
Last Wednesday, the 22-year-old allowed zero runs, one hit, and one walk over five innings of work. Even more impressively, he struck out a whopping 10 batters. Perry has 20 strikeouts and zero earned runs over his last two games (10 innings), and he has dropped his 2026 High-A ERA to a remarkable 0.60.
