DraftKings College Basketball DFS Lineup Picks for 12/4/22 - CBB Daily Fantasy Advice

Oscar Tshiebwe daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 12/4/22. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

I don't usually do this, but if my wife is reading this, happy 18th anniversary of our first date: the 2004 Big 12 Championship Game in Kansas City. Conference Championship Saturday is over in college football, so we really get into some nice basketball slates. They didn't waste any time! We have a big 10-game matinee today to overshadow anything the NFL does today. Just take a look at the forwards! Wow!

The early tips feature Kentucky at Michigan and Miami heading to Louisville. A couple of hours later, we find the Ralphies in Seattle, St. John's heading to Ames freaking Iowa, and North Carolina in Blacksburg. Utah in Pullman kicks off the 4 o'clock hour and we have the battle of Nebraska in Omaha with the Huskers taking on Creighton at the Birdcage (hey...it's a big deal here in Nebraska). We end this with the trifecta of Oregon at Pauley Pavilion, Minnesota heading to West Lafayette, and Cal heading to the desert to take on Arizona.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/4/22 starting at 1 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Jaime Jaquez, UCLA ($8,600)

There are a lot of guys to spend on today, but Jaquez might make the most sense. Baylor was the only team to hold him under 40 DraftKings points in a game that stayed close. Oregon is solid, but they are not Baylor. Jaquez is playing a ton of minutes and has scored 54 points over the last two games. This is another game that should stay fairly close, so I expect Jaquez to be over 35 minutes, and likely 40 DraftKings points, again.

Devin Askew, California ($7,100)

Arizona isn't that put together yet, so there is good potential for Askew here. He had strong games against three strong opponents since Thanksgiving with 81 DraftKings points in games against TCU (in a game in which the Bears only scored 48 points), USC, and Clemson. If Askew starts shooting more efficiently, he could be in for a huge game. He has solid peripherals to go with the points. Askew is going to get all the action he can handle. He's the best player on a team that is 0-for-2022. That's right...Cal still hasn't won a game.

Courtney Ramey, Arizona ($6,600)

The Texas transfer has hit the ground running with Arizona. After serving a three-game suspension to start the season, Ramey has stuffed stat sheets out in the desert. He averaged 10 points per game in his Texas career but is up to 14.8 to start this season. The defensive numbers are as strong as they ever were. The assists are down a touch, but I'll take it with his vastly improved scoring.

Cole Bajema, Washington ($5,400)

Bajema has wiggled his way into the starting lineup over the last week. He has responded with 28 points, 10 rebounds, a steal, a block, and an assist in 68 minutes. He's not super efficient, but he's cheap for a starter on a team like Washington. They share the ball well and don't really have a superstar. I prefer Jamal Bey if you can afford him, but he's $300 more and I want at least one stud forward. Sacrifices have to be made.

Also consider: Baylor Scheierman, Creighton ($8,500); Kerr Kriisa, Arizona ($7,300); Ryan Nembhard, Creighton ($6,700); Marco Anthony, Utah ($6,100); Tamin Lipsey, Iowa State ($5,900); Fletcher Loyer, Purdue ($4,800); Keisei Tominaga, Nebraska ($4,100)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($9,500)

Getting forward right and nailing at least one value pick is going to decide a GPP today. Tshiebwe has the highest ceiling of any player in college just like he did last year. I prefer Edey's consistency for cash games, but with Tshiebwe, you're spotted 20 points just in his baseline level of rebounds. Add to that his 14.4 points per game average so far this season, and we're up to 35 for a floor. This guy is capable of hauling down 20-something rebounds, even on a guy like Hunter Dickinson. For GPPs, I want the immense upside of Tshiebwe.

Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($7,800)

Take a look at the Nebraska roster and tell me who's going to guard this guy. Kalkbrenner has had two strong games against Nebraska so far in his career while not playing starter minutes. He's playing around 35 per game in competitive games so far this year for the Blue Jays. Kalkbrenner is a very efficient shooter, a glass cleaner, and a powerful rim protector. He's in for a big game here against a mostly undersized Nebraska team.

DJ Rodman, Washington State ($5,300)

Yes, this is the son of everyone's favorite NBA bad-guy extraordinaire, Dennis. He's not the rebounder that his pops was, but he's a strong defensive presence and decent on the glass. The Cougars are finally using DJ as a starter this season. The rest of his game will grow from his defensive prowess. He scored 16 points against Texas State earlier this year and hauled down 14 wayward shots against Boise. Can he put it all together in one game? For this price, it's worth finding out in a GPP!

Kuany Kuany, California ($3,600)

Kuany has started all season for Cal, but he hasn't been all that consistent. He sometimes gets himself into foul trouble and he sometimes is just on the court getting cardio. However, Cal has worked to get him more involved in the offense lately. He has taken 19 shots in the last two games after taking just 25 in the first six games combined. If those shots start falling, he's a hell of a bargain on a slate where we desperately need it. The minutes are there and the price is right.

Also consider: Zach Edey, Purdue ($10,000); Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($9,000); Oumar Ballo, Arizona ($8,600); Justyn Mutts, Virginia Tech ($8,100): Keion Brooks, Washington ($7,600); Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, Louisville ($6,000); Keba Keita, Utah ($4,500)
