CBB DFS: Night DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/2/24)

Zach Edey - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's Night DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 3/2/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have another monster Saturday on tap as the college basketball regular season winds down. We only have one more of these after today before the conference tournaments kick-off. We have 35 games split up nicely between three slates and I'll be with you through the whole thing. I'm your college basketball DFS spirit guide. We end the Saturday extravaganza with 11 games in prime time or later.

We begin in D.C. with Xavier visiting the Hoyas. Clemson heads up to South Bend for a date with the Irish. Tennessee heads to Tuscaloosa in an SEC tussle. Sparty heads to Edeyville to take on Purdue. New Mexico is in Boise in a game with major tournament implications. Kelvin Sampson returns to Norman to face the Sooners. Syracuse is in Louisville to take on the Cardinals. Ole Miss heads to CoMo to take on the Tigers. TCU is in Utah to take on BYU. Cal is also in Utah taking on the Utes. We end this in California Gonzaga facing the Gaels.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/2/24, starting at 7:30 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($8.8K)

Knecht has slowed a bit, but not much. Just ask Auburn. He nuked them for 39 points this week and posted a double-double against Missouri two weeks ago when no one was scoring. Knecht's ceiling is too high to consider a fade. Alabama loves to push the tempo as well. This is going to be a high-scoring affair. Knecht scored 25 on the Tide in the first meeting while shooting well under his season average of 48.2% from the floor. As I said, the ceiling is very high.

Sean East II, Missouri ($7.3K)

East has been cooking since returning from a knee injury four games ago. In that span, he is averaging 25.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. We don't even notice the absence of steals and blocks! One of those games was against this same Ole Miss team in Oxford. East put up 25 points and 35.5 DraftKings points in that one. If he can do that again, we'll all be happy.

Rivaldo Soares, Oklahoma ($5.5K)

Soares has five straight games between 23 and 27 DraftKings points. That's the kind of consistency I like in a value play. Normally I would be scared of a matchup with Houston, but Soares kept that streak alive against Houston Jr. (Iowa State) this week. He wasn't getting as many open looks, but he compensated by picking up at least one of every other stat. I trust the output, even against a team like Houston.

Cole Bajema, Utah ($5.1K)

Bajema gets consistent minutes with Rollie Worster out, but the production is everything but. He has scored in double figures in three of the last five games but scored seven points combined in the other two games. If you're willing to take a risk with a value play, Bajema's ceiling is double what most of his peers priced at this level can reach.

Also consider: Deivon Smith, Utah ($8.6K); Jamal Shead, Houston ($8.2K); Markus Burton, Notre Dame ($8.1K); Ryan Nembhard, Gonzaga ($7.5K); Nolan Hickman, Gonzaga ($6.8K); J.J. Starling, Syracuse ($6.6K); Dallin Hall, BYU ($6.3K); Emanuel Sharp, Houston ($6.1K); Braeden Shrewsberry, Notre Dame ($5.6K); Dailyn Swain, Xavier ($4.4K); Justin Taylor, Syracuse ($4.1K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Zach Edey, Purdue ($11K)

We get no price break from DraftKings, even on a loaded slate. That means a difficult decision to make when it comes to Edey. If you spend up here, the chances of you cramming another star in your lineup are slim. That said, Edey is the only guy who has at least 40 DraftKings points in eight consecutive games. He's a lock to hit that threshold again. Edey is a must in cash games. You can fade in GPPs, but you better make sure your other stars hit 40 as well.

Tyson Degenhart, Boise State ($7.7K)

Degenhart has quietly cleared 30 DraftKings points in seven straight games. He had a rough patch in January, but that's a distant memory now. The Broncos are winning and Degenhart is propelling this team in a quest for an at-large tournament berth. Degenhart was a dreadful 1-for-8 from the floor against New Mexico the first time around at The Pit. Expect redemption here at home.

Ja'Vier Francis, Houston ($5.4K)

A team that is as strong defensively as Houston has contributions from everyone, but defense is the specialty of Francis. He's the guy who keeps the intensity off the bench. Francis has averaged 6.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 0.2 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.5 steals over the last six games. I'm still a sucker for players who rely very little on points. This price does nothing to deter me.

Mason Gillis, Purdue ($5.1K)

Gillis is a high-energy player off the bench. He has scored over 20 DraftKings points in four of the last five games thanks to his incessant flirtation with double-doubles. Purdue is going to need Gillis to help draw attention away from Edey by this big Michigan State front line. He should get every opportunity to hit 20 DraftKings points again.

Also consider: Graham Ike, Gonzaga ($8.1K); JT Toppin, New Mexico ($7.8K); Jonas Aidoo, Tennessee ($7.6K); Ian Schieffelin, Clemson ($6.9K); Nelly Junior Joseph, New Mexico ($6.4K); Mustapha Amzil, New Mexico ($5.5K); Nick Pringle, Alabama ($5.2K); Kebba Njie, Notre Dame ($4.7K); Connor Vanover, Missouri ($4K)
