Quincy Porter Limited to Open Fall Camp
Notre Dame wide receiver Quincy Porter (knee) will be limited to start fall camp after undergoing left knee patellar surgery this offseason, according to Pete Sampson of The Athletic. Porter is an Ohio State transfer who arrives in South Bend with four catches for 59 yards on his resume. He was a five-star recruit coming out of high school in 2025 and is expected to compete for significant playing time for the Irish this season. Fellow Ohio State transfer Mylan Graham and Notre Dame returners Jordan Faison and Jaden Greathouse are others expected to be key pass-catchers for CJ Carr in 2026. While it's not ideal that Porter is not fully ready to go, his limited participation suggests he could be at 100% for the season-opener in Week 1 against Wisconsin.
