Three top fantasy baseball prospects - James Tibbs III, Jesus Made, Jaxon Wiggins - that can make big impacts. These MLB prospects are waiver wire pickups or stashes.
Finding high-impact prospects can add a major boost to your fantasy team. Even through the opening two months, managers have seen many prospects earn the call and make a high-impact for fantasy like Henry Bolte (for speed upside) and A.J. Ewing.
Below, we will look at three prospects who are showcasing elite upside, including a budding power hitter at Triple-A and the game's No. 1-ranked prospect at Double-A.
Should fantasy managers stash these high-end prospects? Let's dive in!

With Teoscar Hernandez on the IL with a strained hamstring, the Dodgers have been rolling with either Alex Call or Ryan Ward in left field for the past week. But if James Tibbs III continues mashing, he could wiggle his way into that left field gig in the near future.

Tibbs has been mashing all season. In 54 games for Triple-A Oklahoma City, Tibbs has belted 16 doubles and 17 home runs with a .322/.426/.659 slash line. The quality of contact has been highly impressive, with Tibbs currently running a 92.8 mph AVG EV, a 56.5% hard-hit rate, and a 21.1% barrel rate. However, despite the .322 average, Tibbs' 73.9% zone and 65.6% overall contact rates are pretty concerning.
Those contact rates are the main reason why I haven't declared Tibbs to be a "high-priority stash," but there's definitely some intrigue here and a path to playing time in the near future.

Jesus Made, SS, Milwaukee Brewers
Current Level: AA
Availability: 5% rostered
2026 AA Stats: 45 G, .280/.355/.460, 8 2B, 6 HR, 19 SB
The Brewers signed Made out of the Dominican Republic in 2024, giving him a $950,000 signing bonus. Even though he's only 19 years old and signed just over two years ago, Made is already on the fantasy radar as a prospect who could potentially debut at some point in the 2026 MLB season.
At 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds, Made is a pure athlete with five-tool potential. His ability to put the bat on the ball is among the best in Minor League Baseball, and it typically results in quality contact as he continues to generate high exit velocities. So far this year, he owns a remarkable 85.9% zone contact rate (83rd percentile), as well as a 19.8% whiff rate (88th percentile).
He is walking nearly 11% of the time, averages a stolen base every 2.33 games, and has kept his strikeout rate at just 15.4% (93rd percentile). He's also up to six homers this year; while that's not a ton, it does represent the highest mark of his career, and we're only in the month of May.
In the outfield, Made's range and glovework should allow him to stick in center field long term. With that being said, he's athletic enough to survive a switch to left field if necessary, especially if it will get him in the lineup on an everyday basis.
We're very encouraged about the upside that Made offers in fantasy baseball. His high contact rates, impressive exit velocities, increased power numbers, and extra-base hit and steal totals make him one of the most intriguing prospects to stash in redraft leagues, even though he's only 19 years old in Double-A.

Jaxon Wiggins, SP, Chicago Cubs
Current Level: AAA
Availability: 5% rostered
2026 AAA Stats: 9 G, .235/.316/.324, 8 2B, 8 SO, 3 BB
The pitching prospect we will spotlight here is considered the best in his system. However, he is on the injured list himself, but is nearing a return and could make a major impact in the second half, given the state of the roster.
Per MLB.com, Wiggins is considered the overall No. 89 prospect in the sport and the No. 3 in the system. He made just two starts (four innings each) before hitting the 7-day injured list due to an elbow injury. However, earlier this week, a report by Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune stated that the right-hander is slated to begin throwing bullpens, which can set him up to face live pitching before the end of June.
While a return is not imminent, he could quickly emerge as a top stash option as the Cubs could use any type of spark they find in their minor league system. Just this weekend, they turned to two of their top-hitting prospects, Pedro Ramirez and Kevin Alcantara, to provide some life to their slumping lineup.
During the 2025 season, Wiggins spent most of his time with High-A and Double-A, where he logged 51 2/3 innings to the tune of a 2.44 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and a 66:23 K:BB. He was then given a short 9 2/3-inning stint with Triple-A to close out the campaign.
While Wiggins will need at least another handful of outings at Triple-A after his injury to even contend for a promotion, he is a name to know heading into June.
Like the four names above him, a promotion is not in the cards until the second half, but his upside is intriguing. If the Cubs can get themselves back on track offensively, they will need pitching depth (especially in their organization) to carry them to the postseason.
With Cade Horton done for the season and Justin Steele out through at least the All-Star break, Wiggins is the lone spark in the system who could find a role on the MLB roster.
