D'Ernest Johnson 2024 Outlook: RB3 Stash For Deep Leagues Only
6 months agoJacksonville Jaguars running back D'Ernest Johnson flashed upside with the Cleveland Browns in 2021, but over the last two years, he's rushed just 45 times for 125 yards and no touchdowns. He's slated to be firmly behind Travis Etienne on the depth chart, and for now, Tank Bigsby is ahead of him in the RB2 role. However, Bigsby failed to make an impact as a rookie, and he's reportedly struggled heading into his sophomore campaign. The former Auburn running back is still locked into the backup role, but an Etienne injury could put Johnson in the action as a committee back alongside Bigsby. All that said, only fantasy managers in extra-deep leagues should consider stashing Johnson, as he's a long shot to make a fantasy impact in 2024.
