Dan's top hitter streamers and starts as fantasy baseball waiver wire adds for Week 3 of 2026 (April 13 - April 19). He analyzes streamers with favorable matchups, schedules.
As the weather starts to warm up this week, perhaps we will see the bats start to catch up to the arms? There are certainly a lot of widely available players worth consideration if you have an open roster spot, and no shortage of good schedules and positive hitting environments.
My weekly hitters, streamers, fantasy baseball waiver-wire pickups column will identify hitters with favorable matchups who can be considered for waiver-wire pickups or streamers ahead of Sunday night's waiver-wire runs in leagues with weekly transactions. Because of format changes to Yahoo leagues this year, players featured in this article this week are rostered in 30% or fewer leagues on Yahoo! (yes, I'm increasing this number as the wire is already getting picked over pretty aggressively this season).

Ballpark Upgrades:
- ATH (All seven games at home)
- CHW (three games at ATH)

- TEX (three games at ATH)
Week 3 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers
I'll recommend only players who are 30 percent rostered or lower, and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!
Colt Keith, 1B/2B/3B - DET (29%)
Keith was featured here last week and continues to get on base and score runs for the Tigers. He's now hitting .354 on the year and has scored nine runs. We're still waiting on the power production, but it's coming. For now, the solid average and runs scored production will suffice. He could prove to be an invaluable utility player this year with eligibility at three infield positions.
Jorge Soler, OF - LAA (28%)
Soler is on a power binge right now, slugging three home runs in his last four games and running his RBI count to 15 on the season.
Jorge Soler GRAND SLAM!

You know what you're getting with Soler; he's a power guy who won't help your batting average much. But he can go on a tear with homers and win you a week. It's just impossible to ignore his recent run production. If you need power stats, he's the top pick up on the board.
Josh Bell, 1B - MIN (25%)
The switch-hitting first baseman was a hot pickup this week and continues to produce. He's never going to be a 30 HR guy, but he's making solid contact this year and driving in runs. I'm still a bit skeptical that he's turned into a consistent hitter all of a sudden at age 33, but there's nothing wrong with riding this surge in production while it lasts.
Mickey Moniak, OF - COL (16%)
I hope you grabbed Moniak last week, but if you didn't and he's still available, then go grab the Rockies' slugger for the week ahead (and perhaps beyond!)

— MLB (@MLB) April 12, 2026
Colorado heads out on the road this week, but Moniak is perfectly capable of hitting it out of every park (including Yellowstone). He's now hitting .300 with five home runs since he was activated. He really should be rostered everywhere; he's been a pretty good hitter for large chunks of the last two seasons.
Cole Young, 2B - SEA (16%)
It was another solid, but not spectacular week for Young. He had a hit in every game but one and scored another four runs. He's now up to 11 runs scored despite hitting near the bottom of the lineup. He's an underrated source of batting average and runs right now. Give him a look if you need help at second base.
Spencer Steer, 1B/OF - CIN (12%)
Steer hit his second home run of the season yesterday, and despite a slow start at the plate (.191 AVG), he's got some solid potential this week as he continues to get penciled into the Reds lineup just about every day. He's due for some positive regression, too, as his xwOBA is 37 points higher than his current wOBA, and he has a BABIP of only .212. If he's hitting the ball hard, eventually those hits are going to come.
Jung Hoo Lee, OF - SFG (11%)
Lee has collected four hits in his last two games, including his first home run of the year. I know it's been a slow start for the Giants outfielder, but he has a very solid hit tool and could be ready to go on a run right now, as the Giants have a favorable schedule this week. He's being cut in a lot of leagues, but I think he still has a ton of potential this season.
Jose Fernandez, SS, CI - ARZ (7%)
Fernandez got it going again this week, hitting safely in all four of his starts, including two multi-hit games. He's hitting in the middle of the Arizona lineup and has shown that he can handle major league pitching, so I am a bit surprised he is still so widely available.
I think a lot of managers picked him up after his huge two-homer game and then quickly moved on when he slumped for a week, but this youngster is well worth a look for the short-term if you need help in the infield.
Evan Carter, OF - TEX (5%)
I highlighted the Rangers' schedule this week earlier as they'll head to the elite hitting environment in Sacramento for three games to start the week. Carter got on the board with his first home run this week, while also stealing two bases.

— MLB (@MLB) April 11, 2026
He's a dual-threat guy and a former big-time prospect who's playing every day. It's far too early in his career to give up on this player; he's got some real post-hype breakout appeal.
Jeff McNeil, 2B/OF - ATH (5%)
McNeil was a player I highlighted this preseason as a sneaky late-round pick based on everyday playing time and an excellent park factor at home for lefties. He's yet to leave the yard, but he has picked it up at the plate after a slow start.
McNeil has five hits in his last two games and four multi-hit games over the last week. He's always been a tremendous contact hitter, and with seven games at home this week, I think he's an ideal streamer.
Week 3 Deep League Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers
Some widely available hitters (under 5% rostered) could be worth a look this week due to hot starts at the plate or strong matchups.
- Gavin Sheets, OF - SDP (4%)
- Nasim Nunez, 2B/SS - WAS (4%)
- Jesus Sanchez, OF - TOR (4%)
- Nick Gonzales, 2B/3B/SS - PIT (3%)
- Sam Antonacci, 2B/3B - CWS (3%)
- Edouard Julien, 1B/2B - COL (2%)
- Ildemaro Vargas, 1B/2B - AZ (2%)
Good luck this week, and choose those streaming options wisely! And, as always, thanks for making RotoBaller your choice for fantasy baseball content all season long!
