World Cup Lineup DFS Picks for DraftKings (11/26/2022) - World Cup Soccer Match Day 6

Happy Match Day 6, Rotoballers! We are here for the Saturday games of the World Cup! Every team has played at least once, and the intensity in Friday's Group A and Group B games really picked up with tournament hopes on the line. We hope for more of the same on Saturday with three games in the main contest between Saudi Arabia-Poland, Denmark-France, and Mexico-Argentina.

Despite a win that shocked the world, Saudi Arabia remains the biggest underdog on Saturday versus Poland. The red and white didn't look all that impressive versus Mexico, and they'll need to step up to pick up points against the plucky Group C leaders. Elsewhere, Argentina is a big favorite against their North American rivals in Mexico. And France is expected to be too strong for a Denmark side, despite the Danes prevailing twice against Les Bleus in 2022.

The DraftKings World Cup DFS Soccer contests lock at 8:00 am ET for the 11/26/22 slate. Make sure to get your lineups in early. Also, don't forget to check out the rest of our World Cup coverage on Rotoballer with team and match previews, along with our betting and DFS advice. The World Cup Matchday 6

Vegas Odds for the Day

DraftKings DFS Goalkeepers

Guillermo Ochoa - $3,800 vs. Argentina

We shouldn't trust any of these shot-stoppers to keep a clean sheet, so it's with great joy that we can find Guillermo Ochoa as the cheapest goalie on the slate. In the first game, he came away with a clean sheet, two saves, and a penalty save.

This man 'saves' his best performances for the biggest stage. Argentina has the highest implied goal total and needs to come out firing. However, the Mexican magician between the sticks is more than up to the challenge, and we can at least bank on his save points to redeem our faith in this World Cup star.

Others To Consider (Cash/ GPP): Wojciech Szczesny vs. KSA ($5,500), Kasper Schmeichel vs. FRA ($4,200)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kylian Mbappe - $12,000 vs. Denmark

With this ridiculous pricing of Christian Eriksen (see below), it's going to be easy for us to fit in Kylian Mbappe or Lionel Messi. However, for Match Day 2, I'm riding with Mbappe. He was sublime in France's 4-1 win over Australia and probably should've had a bigger day if not for some subpar (by his standards) finishing.

Against the Socceroos, the 23-year-old scored one, assisted one, and took seven shots on his way to 33 DK points. While the level of opposition takes a step up, so will Mbappe's play. He's $200 more than Messi, and I'll be happy to find that extra couch cushion money if it means getting the PSG man in my Saturday squad.

Lautaro Martinez - $7,600 vs. Mexico

If you decide to roll with Mbappe over Messi, you can still find your way into the Argentine attack via Lautaro Martinez. While philosophers continue to figure out the meaning of life, soccer fans will be contemplating how Martinez's goal-not-goal against Saudi Arabia was offside.

I've been thinking about that for three days straight, and I'm still flabbergasted. Regardless, the 25-year-old showed his chops in Argentina's opening game, and DFS managers should buy in. He has the fifth-best odds of scoring a goal but finds himself the 17th-most expensive forward on the three-game slate. That sort of discrepancy needs to be punished, and it'll be a big reason Martinez is in most of my lineups.

Others To Consider (Cash/ GPP): Lionel Messi vs. MEX ($11,800), Olivier Giroud vs. DEN ($8,500)

DraftKings DFS Midfielders

Christian Eriksen - $7,200 vs. France

Christian Eriksen must've insulted DraftKings because there is no reason for his price to be this low. In the first game against Tunisia, the Man United man attempted 16 crosses, assisted five shots, took one himself, played the full 90 minutes, and scored 19 points without a goal or an assist. So if we have a 19-point floor for $7,200, let's take it and run. Eriksen will be extremely popular, but you won't want to watch this game if he's not in your lineup.

Piotr Zielinksi - $7,000 vs. Saudi Arabia

That $200 extra in couch cushion money mentioned earlier? Well, it could come from the contrarian option of playing Piotr Zielinski instead of Eriksen. The Napoli man was the leading set-piece taker for his country in their opening salvo versus Mexico, but it came to nothing. Fortunately, a game against Saudi Arabia should boost the odds of converting a chance into a celebration. This slate could be a two versus two between these midfielders, Mbappe and Messi.

Others To Consider (Cash/ GPP): Adrien Rabiot vs. DEN ($5,700), Luis Chavez vs. ARG ($5,000)

DraftKings DFS Defenders

Marcos Acuna - $5,100 vs. Mexico

With Argentina on the verge of an all-time upset against Saudi Arabia, manager Lionel Scaloni brought on Marcos Acuna in the 71st minute. While his appearance didn't stop the Green Falcons from ending his country's 36-game unbeaten run, the 31-year-old did everything he could to claw Argentina back and produced some much-needed DFS points.

In 19 minutes (plus however much added time there was), Acuna attempted six crosses, assisted two shots, and won a tackle. Hopefully, he's done enough to earn a starting spot against Mexico because he will be a fantastic option in the back line. In addition, Argentina has the best win and clean sheets odds, plus the highest implied goal totals. All of that adds up for Acuna to accumulate many fantasy points.

Ibrahima Konate - $3,300 vs. Denmark

If you played UEFA Champions League DFS last season, you'd remember Ibrahima Konate fondly. The young Frenchman scored in both legs of Liverpool's quarterfinal tie with Benefica and won Jurgen Klopp's, and our, admiration. It seems like he brought that attacking flair to the World Cup with two shots in the first game against the Aussies. If Konate keeps his starting spot against Denmark,  he's well worth a punt as a salary-relief option to get more heavy hitters up front in your lineups.

Others To Consider (Cash/ GPP): Joakim Maehle vs. FRA ($5,000), Matty Cash vs. KSA ($4,700)
