Fantasy Football Draft Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider drafting in 2026:
Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson was solid for fantasy managers in a split backfield last season. He rushed for 603 yards on 130 attempts while catching 32 passes for 345 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games. The 28-year-old averaged 4.6 yards per carry and gained positive yardage 77.7% of the time. The Patriots leaned more on Stevenson over TreVeyon Henderson in the playoffs, as he had 17.8 touches compared to Henderson's 8.8. New England's offense should be explosive again heading into 2026 as the Patriots added wide receivers A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs this offseason.
Stevenson will need to hold onto the ball if he plans to fend off Henderson for touches, as Rhambo has fumbled the ball 10 times over his last 20 games. The good news is he didn't fumble from Week 5 on last year after dropping the ball three times in the team's first five weeks. With the split backfield, Stevenson is more of a high-end FLEX play each week and is currently RB28 in the latest RotoBaller rankings.
The touches in the playoffs suggest Stevenson should have a small edge over more elusive Henderson, but that quickly changes if he starts fumbling again. Rhambo is projected for 1,079 total yards and nine touchdowns, making him a decent pick at his current 75 ADP at Sleeper.
DJ Moore, Buffalo Bills
There's quite a bit of optimism in upstate New York: Josh Allen is the best quarterback DJ Moore has ever played with. Conversely, Moore is the best receiver that Allen has had to throw to since Stefon Diggs left the Bills. Facing less target competition and with a better offense, fantasy managers hope he can rebound as a WR2, a status that evaded him last season.
Moore had one of his best seasons under Buffalo head coach Joe Brady when the pair teamed up in Carolina in 2020, but he's now 29 years old, and advanced metrics may point to a receiver losing a half-step (74th in yards per route run in 2025). The Bills are, as currently constructed, also a run-first football team. Moore may not be dominant enough to command targets as Diggs did, but he will be the preferred option in the Buffalo offensive machine, and that alone warrants a fourth or fifth round pick in all formats.
Travis Etienne Jr., New Orleans Saints
Running back Travis Etienne Jr. was one of the top players in the free agent pool this spring and inked a massive four-year, $52 million contract with the emerging New Orleans Saints. After spending the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Jaguars, Etienne is set to operate as the lead running back on a Saints team that hopes to take a step forward in 2026. Following a down season in 2024, when Etienne ran for a career-low 558 rushing yards and just two touchdowns, the running back bounced back in a big way in 2025.
Entering the season, the former Clemson standout was not guaranteed the starting job, but quickly reclaimed the role, totaling 1,107 yards on the ground, the second-highest mark of his career, and adding seven rushing scores. Through the air, Etienne brought in another 36 catches (52 targets) for 292 yards and another six touchdowns. Last season, the Saints' major weakness was their rushing attack, as veteran Alvin Kamara struggled to find much traction, and the team posted the 10th-fewest rushing yards per game. As a result, the team views Etienne as not only the future of the backfield but also the answer to this short-term weakness.
While Kamara is still on the roster, Etienne figures to operate as the lead option with the veteran reverting to a change-of-pace role. Given that young quarterback Tyler Shough averaged a strong 260.0 passing yards per game over his last eight games, this offense could take a massive step forward with a stable rushing game.
Etienne carries surprising value as a high-end RB2 despite his newly signed contract, as he is being selected as the RB18 in current PPR Sleeper drafts at an ADP of 39.0. Etienne should contend for another double-digit touchdown campaign while seeing ample targets, making him one of the best values among RB2s on the draft board.
While it appeared Kamara would share third-down work with Etienne, the veteran back suffered a knee injury in camp and is slated to miss at least one month of action. Etienne now has a clear path to serve as an every-down option in this offense for the early part of the regular season, making him a great value at his ADP.
Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has one of the widest ranges of outcomes of all fantasy receivers heading into 2026. Since arriving in the league as a second-round pick in 2023, he has regularly flashed playmaking ability, but inconsistent usage has prevented him from developing into a reliable every-week fantasy starter. Now that significant changes are coming to Green Bay's offense, past history needs to be weighed against a potential snap-share bump.
Green Bay will be without two of its leading receivers from 2025, having allowed Romeo Doubs to walk in free agency and trading away Dontayvion Wicks, but it's no foregone conclusion that the added opportunity will go Reed's way. The fresh recipient of a four-year, $92 million contract extension, fifth-year wideout Christian Watson appears locked into an every-down role, and when the Packers take a third receiver off the field, as they did at one of the league's highest rates in 2025, it could be 2025 first-round pick Matthew Golden who claims the opposite spot.
Across three NFL seasons, Reed has run fewer than 10 of his nearly 900 routes from two-receiver sets, and with tight end Tucker Kraft reportedly trending toward an early-season return from his Week 9 ACL tear, there's no reason to expect a sudden influx of 11-personnel usage in Green Bay. Reed did sign a three-year extension of his own this offseason, and he offers intriguing upside thanks to his proven yards after catch ability and chemistry with Jordan Love, but without the certainty of an every-down role, he is still a risky pick before the mid-to-late rounds of 2026 drafts.
At RotoBaller's WR43, he profiles as a boom-or-bust WR4 who continues to hold more value in best ball formats.
J.K. Dobbins, Denver Broncos
J.K. Dobbins secured a two-year, $16 million contract with the Broncos in March. That provides the 27-year-old Dobbins with a navigable path toward reclaiming the early-down role that he seized during 2025. All concerns surrounding Dobbins' track record of health issues are justified. However, he is positioned to operate as the lead back in Sean Payton's offense while he remains unencumbered by injuries. Dobbins performed effectively in that role last season, while finishing among the top five in attempts (153/15.3 per game) and rushing yards (772/77.2 per game) from Weeks 1-10.
He was also eighth among backs with 100+ carries in missed tackles forced per attempt (0.20) per Fantasy Points Data. Dobbins also sustained a season-ending foot injury in Week 10, which halted his statistical momentum. RJ Harvey vaulted to ninth among backs in targets (29/4.1 per game) and receptions (22/3.1 per game), while tying for fifth in rushing touchdowns (five) during Dobbins' absence. However, Harvey failed to surpass 3.4 yards per attempt in five of his seven games during that sequence. He also finished 51st in efficiency (4.85) from Weeks 1-18 per Next Gen Stats.
Harvey’s inefficiency reduces his prospects of securing an expanded workload as a rusher, but he should function as the backfield's primary pass-catcher. Fourth-round selection Jonah Coleman should also accumulate carries and targets as his rookie season progresses. That will not impact Dobbins' role as Denver's lead rusher, provided that he can avoid additional injuries.
This supplies your incentive to pursue Dobbins near his ADP of 97.4 on Yahoo.
