We are getting closer to playoff baseball, which means every game means so much more. Let's get looking into this Sunday slate of games!

MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (8/23/2026)
Bryce Harper OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+450, Hard Rock)
Let's start the day off with an early lefty. Bryce Harper has been hitting the ball better than anyone on the Phillies recently. Against RHP, he is averaging a 93 mph exit velocity over the last few games. He is getting a great spot here against Kyle Leahy, who has struggled against lefties this season.
Who better than Bryce Harper to take him yard? Across the season, Harper has been crushing righties; he has a 1.020 OPS, .316 ISO, 14.7% Barrel%, and a 48.4% HardHit%. Some of those stats are even better than his teammate Kyle Schwarber, who has been a home run machine this season.

We are getting some ideal weather as well, as we could be looking at 10+ mph winds blowing out to right field. On top of all that, Citizen Banks Field has been one of the best spots for lefties to hit a home run in the entire league.
As for Leahy, he has given up 12 home runs this season, seven against lefties, while they sport a .473 SLG, .159 ISO, 14.4% Barrel%, and a concerning 53% against him. Harper is just coming off a big home run yesterday, and this is another great spot for him, and the odds are fantastic!
Nathaniel Lowe OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+375, Bet365)
It's Tomoyuki Sugano bump day! That means it's all eyes on the Guardians and figuring out which guy is going to take him yard today.
That's a lot of red! Both sides of the plate have done quite a bit of damage to him, but it's been the lefties that have really dug deep against him. 19 of his 26 home runs have come against lefties. He has given up at least one home run in his last 10 games, and at least two in five of them.
That being said, Nathaniel Lowe fits the profile against Sugano perfectly. Looking at his pitch mix, no one on the Guardians is hitting it better than Nathaniel Lowe. Sugano primarily throws the Cutter, Four-Seamer, and Splitter. Finding someone who hits the Splitter well is the tough part.
Lucky for us, Lowe hits all three of those really well, and on top of all that, he even hits the sinker well, which would be Sugano's fourth-most-thrown pitch. Lowe has crushed righties this season; he is sporting a .892 OPS, .239 ISO, 12.6% Barrel%, and a 42.7% HardHit%. He is also leading the team in home runs against RHP.
On top of all that, we get the benefit of the high altitude at Coors Field, with some solid weather conditions. This is a great spot for Lowe to hit his 15th home run of the season.
