DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (5/11/22): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on May 11th, 2022. John Brubaker provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Happy Wednesday, RotoBallers! The NBA Playoffs are here, and we have two games slotted for tonight. Playoffs are always a different animal when it comes to sports betting, DFS, and the like. Rotations switch up, starters are all typically guaranteed 38+ minutes, and so on and so forth. Fortunately, we got to see four games game in each of these second-round matchups now, so we can make somewhat reasonable predictions in regards to matchups, minutes, etc. So with that being said, let's get after it for tonight.

Tonight we have a mini-slate for the playoff games, with two games on tap. With now both FanDuel and DraftKings having multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates a bit differently to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can change during the day as well, so I'll do my best to update as news comes out!

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 5/11/22. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s NBA injury news and also our full NBA injury report today to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jrue Holiday - at BOS (FD: $8,800, DK: $8,200)

I'll start off tonight's slate with Jrue Holiday. The Bucks have been without Khris Middleton for seven games of these playoffs now, and in those games, Holiday has stepped up. He's averaging 19.6 points, 6.6 assists, and 5.7 rebounds in those seven games, and will need to step up for Milwaukee in what should be a pivotal Game 5. Look for him to build on Monday's 16/7/9 performance where he logged three steals in 40 minutes.

Jordan Poole, at MEM (FD: $6,600, DK: $6,900)

Jordan Poole has been huge for Golden State so far in these playoffs. While he hasn't been getting the 40+ minutes that a typical starter would get in the playoffs, he's playing at least 30 minutes and has the usage to make those minutes count for us from a fantasy perspective. While he didn't light things up in Game 4, it was the only game of the series where Poole didn't score 20+ points. I think he bounces back tonight and should provide solid value in the mid-tier on both sites.

Tyus Jones, vs GSW (FD: $5,700, DK: $4,900)

With Ja Morant out of the lineup Monday night, Tyus Jones seemed to be the biggest beneficiary. Despite not getting the win, he seriously stepped up to fill the shoes of the league's Most Improved Player. He played 41 minutes on Monday, logging 19 points, six rebounds, five assists, and a block while only turning the ball over once. With Morant out tonight and as reported yesterday likely throughout the remainder of the playoffs, we'll have to take advantage of Jones's price before it creeps too high.

Also consider: Dillon Brooks (FD: $5,600, DK: $5,600), Grayson Allen (FD: $4,000, DK: $3,600)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jaylen Brown, vs MIL (FD: $8,700, DK: $8,300)

Definitely more of a contrarian play here, as most people will either look to paying up for Giannis or Jayson Tatum here. While I will have some exposure to both GA and JT, I really don't mind backing Jaylen Brown here at this price. Brown made just five of his 11 shots on Monday but still managed to put up the volume that you want to see a guy in this price tier taking. He took at least nine three-point attempts in both Games 1 and 2, and should he heat up he'll be a great pivot off of the "big guys" in the early game tonight.

Andrew Wiggins, at MEM (FD: $6,400, DK: $6,000)

Like Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins has been seriously stepping up for Golden State in these playoffs, and in this series in particular. He's scored 17 points in three of the four games, including Game 3 where he played just 25 minutes. He's logged at least 34 minutes in each of the other three games of the series and is coming off a Game 4 where he logged a triple-double in 39 minutes. He's another mid-tier guy who doesn't have a ton of upside but has a stable enough floor to be a staple in your lineups on a two-game slate.

Kyle Anderson, vs GSW (FD: $4,700, DK: $4,300)

Here's another guy that does benefit from Ja Morant being out tonight. He played just 22 minutes on Monday night but stepped up, scoring 17 points and grabbing eight rebounds, as well as dishing out two assists. It's unfortunate he doesn't have a high enough minutes floor for me to say he's a "must-play" on the slate. However, he does have enough upside for me to play him as a pivot off of other Memphis pieces like Dillon Brooks or even Tyus Jones if I want to go different in a GPP lineup.

Also consider: Giannis Antetokounmpo (FD: $11,500, DK: $11,600), Robert Williams (GTD) (FD: $5,500, DK: $5,000)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Al Horford, vs MIL (FD: $7,900, DK: $7,300)

The 35-year-old Al Horford is having some of a renaissance in this series. He shocked the world (and everyone in Milwaukee) on Monday night when he logged 30 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. While he set a personal career-high in points on Monday, he's dominated the glass all series, logging double-digit rebounds in each of the first three games. He's going to play at least 30 minutes, and with the center position being extremely scarce on this slate, Horford is the clear top option tonight.

Also consider: Steven Adams (FD: $5,300, DK: $3,400)
