Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce is coming off a big game in Week 16, recording four catches for 84 yards and two touchdowns on four targets against the San Francisco 49ers. The 25-year-old has been a big-play threat all season long for Indianapolis, averaging an NFL-best 20.3 yards per reception. Pierce's Week 16 performance alongside new Colts quarterback Philip Rivers is an encouraging sign after Pierce was targeted just once in Rivers' first start of 2025 in Week 15. However, as primarily a downfield threat, Pierce has a low production floor that fantasy managers need to take into account. In Week 17, Indianapolis will take on a Jacksonville Jaguars' defense that ranks 18th in the NFL in total passing yards allowed (3,492) and 27th in passing touchdowns allowed (26). Pierce was reasonably productive in his first matchup of the season against Jacksonville in Week 14, recording five catches for 80 yards on eight targets. All in all, Pierce profiles as a boom/bust flex option for fantasy managers in Week 17.--Will Brady

Across 14 games this season, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs has recorded 52 receptions for 471 yards and four touchdowns on 79 targets. With an average of just 9.1 yards per reception, Downs lacks big-play upside. However, he's been a steady target-earner, recording at least five targets in six out of his last seven games. In Week 16, his second game this season playing with veteran quarterback Philip Rivers, Downs tied his season high with nine targets and hauled in five catches for 65 yards against the San Francisco 49ers. In Week 17, Downs and the Colts will face the Jacksonville Jaguars. Entering the week, Jacksonville's defense ranks 18th in the NFL in total passing yards allowed (3,492) and 27th in passing touchdowns allowed (26). The Jaguars held Downs to four catches for 23 yards on five in the first matchup of the season between the two teams in Week 14. Downs profiles as a high-floor, low-ceiling flex option for fantasy managers in Week 17 against Jacksonville.--Will Brady

Tommy Tremble was irrelevant in Week 16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Carolina TE caught one pass for six yards, finishing with 1.6 PPR points. Outside of Week 11, Tremble has not registered more than 4.0 PPR points in a game since Week 7. The Panthers will face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17. The Seahawks ran 29th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to TEs this year. Even with a highly favorable matchup, Tremble is not close to consideration for fantasy championship lineups. Tremble has been targeted 4+ times in three games this season, and he has only one receiving TD.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Ja'Tavion Sanders caught two passes for nine yards in Week 16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also scored his first touchdown since Week 10 of the 2024 season and finished the game with 8.9 PPR points. It was Sanders' highest fantasy total since Week 2, and he also logged the most snaps of all Carolina TEs (57%). The Panthers will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17. The Seahawks rank 29th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to the TE position this season. Despite a great matchup, Sanders is not worth consideration for fantasy championship lineups. Sanders has totaled 5+ targets only twice this year, and he only has one receiving TD--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Xavier Legette caught one pass for 12 yards and totaled 2.2 PPR points in Week 16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Carolina WR remains a non-factor in fantasy football right now. He has logged four consecutive games with under 6.0 PPR points. In Week 17, Legette has a tougher matchup against the Seahawks. Seattle ranks 12th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to the WR position this season. Regardless of the matchup, Legette does not warrant a lineup spot in any fantasy football championship games. Legette has seen 5+ targets in only three games since Week 5, and he has averaged 4.5 targets per game this year. With underwhelming fantasy totals and inconsistent volume, fantasy players will continue to ignore Legette at the end of the season.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (knee) is officially questionable for his team's Week 17 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night, per Terrin Waack of atlantafalcons.com. London suffered a knee injury in Week 11 that sidelined him for the team's next four games, but he was able to return in Week 16. Atlanta eased him back into the lineup in Week 16, as he played a season-low 69% of the team's offensive snaps. That could indicate that London is not fully recovered from his injury, as he remained limited in practice throughout this week. However, London's Week 16 participation seems to bode well for his Week 17 status, unless he suffered an undisclosed setback. The 24-year-old has recorded 63 catches for 837 yards and six touchdowns on 102 targets across 10 games in 2025. If active, London profiles as a low-end fantasy WR1 in Week 17 against the Rams.--Will Brady

Jalen Coker caught three passes for 47 yards in Week 16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Carolina WR finished the game with 7.7 PPR points. It was the second time in his last five games that Coker posted fewer than 10 PPR points registered. Carolina will take on the No. 1 Seed in the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks, in Week 17. Seattle ranks 12th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to WRs this year. Coker does not have a great matchup, and his overall volume is concerning. Only twice this season has Coker been targeted 5+ times, and he averages 3.8 targets per game. Despite his low target share, Coker caught touchdown passes in two of his last three games. Coker should still have a role in the Panthers' passing game, but not enough for lineup consideration in most fantasy championship games.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten (finger) has been downgraded from questionable to out for his team's Week 17 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tuten was a limited practice participant all week, but he will end up missing his second straight game due to a finger injury. Before getting hurt, the 22-year-old had recorded 284 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 78 carries across 14 games while playing the RB2 role in Jacksonville behind veteran back Travis Etienne Jr. With Tuten sidelined in Week 16, Etienne Jr. logged 20 touches and played 70% of the Jaguars' offensive snaps against the Denver Broncos. Rookie back LeQuint Allen Jr. recorded four touches against the Broncos and appears likely to handle RB2 duties for the second straight week against Indianapolis.--Will Brady

In Week 16 against the Buccaneers, Tetairoa McMillan delivered his best performance since Week 11. He had six receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. The rookie WR totaled 19.3 PPR points, which was his second-highest fantasy total in a single game this season. This week, Carolina will face the Seattle Seahawks, the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Seattle ranks 12th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to the WR position this season. Rams WR Puka Nacua registered 46.5 PPR points with 225 receiving yards and two touchdowns against Seattle in Week 16. McMillan has provided a decent statistical floor this year on a regular basis. McMillan profiles as a lower-end WR2 this week. He obviously lacks the upside of a Nacua, but should catch some key passes in a very important late-season game for the Panthers.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Chuba Hubbard trudged through another underwhelming performance in Week 16 against the Buccaneers. The Carolina RB had six carries for 27 yards. He also added one reception for seven yards and finished the game with 4.4 PPR points. It was Hubbard's second consecutive game with five or fewer PPR points. In Week 17, the Panthers will face the Seahawks. Seattle ranks seventh in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to RBs this year. Hubbard does not offer much fantasy appeal this week with a tough matchup, and he has not seen enough consistent volume overall this season. Outside of Week 13, Hubbard has not logged more than 10 carries in a game since Week 8. He is fully off the fantasy radar for Week 17.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Rico Dowdle had nine carries for 29 yards in Week 16 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also added 14 yards on four receptions, totaling 8.3 PPR points. It was Dowdle's lowest fantasy total in a game since Week 8. Carolina will face the Seattle Seahawks, the NFC's current No. 1 seed, in Week 17. Seattle ranks seventh in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to the RB position this season. Over the last four games, Dowdle has been cold, earning 12.4 PPR points or less with only one rushing touchdown. Considering that Seattle is one of the roughest matchups for RBs and Dowdle's underwhelming recent totals, fantasy players should not start the Carolina running back in their fantasy championship games. The Seahawks have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 24 consecutive games.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Bryce Young is not worth consideration for fantasy championship lineups in Week 17. In Week 16, Young had two touchdowns while completing 21-of-32 attempts for 191 yards. He totaled 17.6 Fantasy Points against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That performance marked the third consecutive game that Young finished with 15 or more fantasy points. Through 16 games played this season, Young has averaged 14.4 Fantasy Points, and his recent and overall production just isn't enough to help fantasy teams win. In Week 17, the Panthers will face the No. 1 seeded team in the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks rank 10th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to QBs this season (14.9). The Carolina QB has only two games with 20+ fantasy points scored this year. He should only be started as a lower-end superflex option.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Across 15 games this season, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. has recorded 76 receptions for 757 yards and seven touchdowns on 104 targets. However, Pittman Jr.'s production has fallen off since Philip Rivers took over for Daniel Jones (Achilles) as the starting quarterback in Indianapolis. Across his last two games, Pittman Jr. has recorded seven catches for 58 yards on 10 targets. His touchdown production has also dried up over the second half of the season, as he has just one end zone grab since Week 8. In Week 17, Pittman Jr. will face a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that has been susceptible to allowing production through the air. The Jaguars enter the week ranked 18th in the NFL in total passing yards allowed (3,492) and 27th in passing touchdowns allowed (26). Pittman Jr. played well in his first matchup of the season against Jacksonville, hauling in nine catches for 79 yards on 12 targets. Pittman Jr.'s lack of explosive ability limits his production upside, but he profiles as a solid fantasy WR3 in Week 17.--Will Brady

The New Orleans Saints D/ST dominated in Week 16, recording eight sacks, one interception, and one fumble recovery in the 29-6 victory over the Jets. They pressured rookie quarterback Brady Cook all game, limiting him to 22-of-35 passing for 188 yards and a passer rating of 64.9. Their next challenge comes against first-overall pick Cam Ward and the Titans, who defeated the Chiefs 26-9 in Week 16. Despite the tougher quarterback matchup, the Saints D/ST remains a top play, as Tennessee allows the fourth-most sacks per game and scores just 16.7 points per game, the third-worst mark in the league.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

New Orleans Saints kicker Charlie Smyth went 5-for-6 on field goal attempts and converted both extra points in the Week 16 victory over the Jets. His only miss came from 61 yards at the end of the first half. Since joining the Saints, Smyth is 9-of-11 on field goals and 7-for-7 on PATs. He enters Week 17 with a questionable tag due to an illness, but if he suits up, he is a solid option against a Tennessee team that has allowed three field goals in four of its last six games.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller
