Kyle Barraclough Looks To Bounce Back After Rocky 2017
7 years agoReliever Kyle Barraclough had an up-and-down season in 2017 but is hopeful to regain his 2016 form this year. Barraclough, who's fit in nicely in the Miami Marlins bullpen since coming over in 2015, is once again being looked upon as one of Miami's most important relievers this season. Barraclough's 22 holds were eighth-most among National League relievers last year, though he finished with 29 holds the year before. His 3.00 ERA and 1.38 WHIP were both worse than his 2016 numbers, as were his 76 strikeouts in 66 innings. In 2016, Barraclough had a commanding 113 strikeouts in 73 innings. If he can find the stuff that made him so special in 2016, then he'll be one of the best relievers in the National League this season.
