Wide Receiver Matchups to Target For Week 16 (2025) - Ja'Marr Chase, Nico Collins, Justin Jefferson, Xavier Worthy, Jakobi Meyers

Jakobi Meyers - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Kyle's favorite WR vs. CB matchups to exploit for Week 16 of 2025 - DFS wide receivers to target on DraftKings and FanDuel. These WR/CB matchups are GPP and cash game opportunities.

Welcome to the Wide Receiver Matchups to Target column for Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season. We're nearing the end of the season, so we have all the data in the world at our disposal. We'll use individual performance, matchup grades, pace of play, and implied totals to pinpoint the best WRs to target in daily fantasy lineups. Week 15 was a massive success as Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Nico CollinsJauan Jennings, and Zay Flowers all crushed value at their respective salaries. Jakobi Meyers fell just short of 3x at his DraftKings price, but he still produced a usable 12.1 DK point game.

This week, we'll break down the top five WR/CB matchups using Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades, along with key usage metrics that indicate which players can realistically hit three times their DraftKings salary. This is meant to serve as a guide for both cash games and GPPs -- these guys are in position to smash regardless of the contest type you're playing in.

Be sure to jump into our RotoBaller Discord! We have so many different channels devoted to whatever you're playing in fantasy football. We also have lots of great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win MORE this season! Below are my top five WR vs. CB matchups for this week’s DFS main slate. Use these insights to fine-tune season-long lineups, player props, and DFS builds. Let’s get to it!

Editor's Note: The FFPC Baby Gorilla Tournament is now open, featuring a $100,000 grand prize and a $675,450 total prize pool! Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals

  • $8.6K on DraftKings, $9.5K on FanDuel
  • Vs. Jack Jones, Rasul Douglas (Miami Dolphins)

The Bengals-Dolphins matchup holds the second-highest implied total on the slate at 50.5 points, which means we're going to want to get Chase into our DFS lineups. Chase put up 26.2 DK points in a favorable matchup against Baltimore last week, catching 10-of-16 targets for 132 scoreless yards. That's the type of volume we're paying for, and it doesn't seem likely to change against a Dolphins defense that has ranked as a bottom-10 unit for most of the season.

Miami ranks 20th in PFF's defense grade, 18th in PFF's coverage grade, 26th in pass DVOA, 22nd in defensive EPA, and 19th in DVOA vs. WR1s this season. Their metrics against wide receivers are a bit skewed, though, because they've played in more than a few non-competitive games where the opponent shifted to a run-heavy script. This game should be competitive as the Bengals are favored by just 1.5 points on the road, so we should see a full complement of Chase targets against Jack Jones (58th of 112 CBs) and Rasul Douglas (12th of 112 CBs).

Nico Collins, Houston Texans

  • $7.5K on DraftKings, $8.5K on FanDuel
  • Vs. Darien Porter, Eric Stokes (Las Vegas Raiders)

You better believe we're running it back with Collins after he crushed in this column last week. Collins appears to be back to his consistent WR1 self, exceeding 19 DK points in five of his previous six contests and putting up 23.5 DK points on the strength of two scores in Week 15. He only saw four targets in an uncompetitive game against the Cardinals, and while he might not see an increase in volume this week against the Raiders, the matchup is too juicy to ignore.

Las Vegas ranks dead last in PFF's defense and coverage grading, 22nd in pass DVOA, 25th in pass DVOA vs. WR1s, and 27th in defensive EPA. They've given up the fifth-most receptions (179) and touchdowns (16) to wide receivers this season. Collins will match up with Darien Porter (106th of 112 CBs) and Eric Stokes (19th of 112 CBs), with Porter being the clear spot for Collins to thrive in.

Porter's PFF grades have been falling lately, and he has allowed nine catches on 13 targets (69% catch rate) for 127 receiving yards (14.1 yards per reception) in his coverage over his last three contests. Fire up Collins as a high-ceiling tournament option in Week 16.

Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings

  • $6.0K on DraftKings, $8.4K on FanDuel (DraftKings Preferred)
  • Vs. Paulson Adebo, Cor'Dale Flott, Anrdu Phillips (New York Giants)

Jefferson has been incredibly disappointing this season, particularly over his last four games in which he has averaged a back-breaking 4.6 DK PPG. He has failed to come through despite favorable matchups against the Cowboys and Commanders during that span. However, he gets one of the best matchups on the board this week against the Giants, and DraftKings now has him absurdly priced behind Mike Evans, Wan'Dale Robinson, and Ladd McConkey.

We have to take shots on a $6,000 Jefferson in arguably the best WR matchup on the slate. The Giants allow the third-most fantasy points per game to WRs while ranking 28th in PFF's defense grading, 25th in PFF's coverage grading, 19th in pass DVOA, 23rd in pass DVOA vs. WR1s, and 25th in defensive EPA. They rank in the top-10 in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns allowed to wide receivers this season.

Andru Phillips (54th of 112 CBs) is OK, and Cor'Dale Flott (18th of 112 CBs) has been great, but Jefferson will see a lot of snaps against the putrid Paulson Adebo (101st of 112 CBs). Adebo has allowed 22 catches on 29 targets (76% catch rate) for 269 yards (12.2 yards per reception) in his coverage over his last four games. Jefferson profiles as an excellent option in a "bounce back" spot in Week 16.

Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs

  • $4.4K on DraftKings, $5.6K on FanDuel
  • Vs. Kevin Winston Jr., Darrell Baker Jr., Marcus Harris (Tennessee Titans)

It's possible (maybe even probable) that the masses will be scared off of playing Worthy with Gardner Minshew now at the helm in place of the injured Patrick Mahomes. That would be a mistake, especially in a matchup as juicy as the one the Chiefs get in Week 16. Minshew has proven himself as a capable QB who can run an offense and feed his playmakers, and now that Rashee Rice has been ruled out, it's quite likely that Worthy soaks up a lot of those targets this week.

The matchup is what makes this interesting, of course. The Titans rank 26th in PFF's coverage grading, 29th in pass DVOA, 31st in pass DVOA vs. WR1s, 29th in defensive EPA, and allow the sixth-most fantasy points per game to WRs. They've given up the fourth-most receiving yards and 15 touchdowns to wide receivers this season, and things haven't improved to end the year as they've allowed the second-most passing yards per game over their last three contests.

Worthy should have no trouble navigating the likes of Kevin Winston Jr. (89th of 97 Ss), Darrel Baker Jr. (88th of 112 CBs), and Marcus Harris (40th of 112 CBs). Get him into cash and tournament lineups, as his price, projection, and potential point-per-dollar ceiling make him an excellent value play in Week 16.

Jakobi Meyers, Jacksonville Jaguars

  • $5.5K on DraftKings, $6.3K on FanDuel
  • Vs. Riley Moss, Ja'Quan McMillian, Pat Surtain II (Denver Broncos)

Meyers is making his third consecutive appearance in this article, and for good reason. He has dominated in his six games with the Jaguars, averaging 13.6 DK PPG while leading the team in targets (38), receptions (27), receiving yards (355), touchdowns (3), and catch rate (71%) during that span. He's also averaging a healthy 13.1 yards per reception since making his Jacksonville debut, something that should translate into a big fantasy game in Week 16 against the Broncos.

Denver has an elite defense that we generally don't want to target, but Meyers will see snaps against cornerbacks outside of Pat Surtain (16th of 112 CBs). Ja'Quan McMillian (30th of 112 CBs) and Riley Moss (74th of 112 CBs) are much more attackable, with the latter having allowed 691 receiving yards (13 yards per reception) and five touchdowns in his coverage this season.

McMillian is the slot corner, and while he has had a solid season, he's coming off one of his worst games of the year. Meyers is still underpriced - keep taking advantage in DFS lineups.

Honorable mention: DK Metcalf (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Detroit Lions secondary
